CovenantCare Practices is a medical facility located in Clarksville, Tennessee. The organization offers a range of healthcare services and has a team of medical professionals on board. However, the reviews about this medical practice are quite mixed, painting a complex picture of the quality of care and service provided.
Some patients have praised the medical staff for their competency. For instance, one patient had been misdiagnosed for years until a doctor at CovenantCare Practices correctly identified the issue as an allergy problem. This correct diagnosis led to effective treatment and relief for the patient.
On the flip side, there are significant concerns about the customer service provided by the administrative staff. Patients have described the receptionists as "snooty" and lacking in personality. There are also complaints about the billing department being demeaning and unhelpful.
Another issue raised is the lack of confidentiality due to the thin walls in the facility. Patients have expressed concerns that their private medical information could be easily overheard by others in adjacent rooms, posing a potential violation of HIPAA regulations.
Some reviews point out irregularities in billing practices. Patients have reported being billed for services they did not receive, such as a "weight consultation," which was merely stepping on a scale. This has led to suspicions of insurance fraud.
The frequent change in medical staff has also been a point of concern. Patients have reported that they have had to switch doctors multiple times within the practice, leading to inconsistency in care.
Delays in receiving test results and prescriptions have also been reported. In one case, a patient had to wait for three weeks to get test results and the required medication, causing unnecessary suffering.
While CovenantCare Practices has been lauded for its medical competency, it falls short in several other areas, including customer service, billing, and administrative efficiency. These mixed reviews suggest that while you may receive excellent medical care, the overall experience might be less than satisfactory.

For the past 9 years, I have been treated for ongoing sinus infections. I have seen providers in another city.... Including an ENT (exams, scans, follow ups and each visit required co-pays). After no real relief and continued misery for nearly a decade.... My insurance changed at the out of pocket cost for a specialist was not in my budget, I had an appt at Covenant and saw Dr. Boles (my daughters and I were getting our flu shots). I explained my recurring sinus infection as diagnosed many times. I explained what I have done in the past... What worked and what didnt. I just wanted to do what has worked before and be on my way. Dr. Boles listened.... Examined my nose and confirmed.... I wasnt going to be breathing out those things. Then, he did something a little different..... He had me go down the hall for an xray. He showed me the results and the issue wasnt with my sinuses after all. They were pretty much clear.... He concluded that it was all related to allergies!! He gave me a printed treatment plan and we discussed it. I had been receiving treatment all this time for something that wasnt even the issue. It is now about 2 years later..... I still suffer mildly based on the air quality....admittedly I dont take my over the counter allergy meds daily like instructed..... But, I also have not needed a single office visit..... My nasal passage has been clear since Dr Boles solved the mystery. I had been going at least monthly needing some intervention before Dr Boles properly diagnosed me.

Absolutely the most heinous "medical practice" in Clarksville. The facility is clean but that is where the positive attributes end. The walls are paper thin so do not expected your confidentiality under HIPPA to be respected. Everyone one in the rooms next to yours will know your business and you will know theirs. The receptionists will not hesitate to bold face lie to patients about everything from referral status to forgetting to call patients for appointment changes. The personal conversations regarding massages from boyfriends and "foot fetishs" are not appropriate in front of clients, you have a glass slide, for heavens sake USE IT! Also make sure you view the EOB from your insurance, I am sure you will be surprised that your insurance company was billed for a "weight consultation" as well as other services you did not actually receive. This is how they bilk the insurance for the most expensive visit every time you go there, visits are paid by tiers by most insurance companies. For reference your "weight consultation" is getting on the scale. The care is hardly competent and if you have a complicated medical problem please go somewhere else, you will be in serious health jeopardy before they ever have a clue whats going on. The money and ego come before you health here. You have rights as a patient DO NOT allow this practice to bully you into getting far less than you and your insurance are paying for!!

I normally do not do reviews and I normally do not complain. I understand theres pros and cons everywhere but the professionalism of this place is a joke. I do not reccomened this place to anyone! I been here a few times over the same thing and they never fix the problem this last time was the icing on the cake. I went in had tests done...knew that I was suffering from something I was in pain they made me feel like they would do all the testing needed to get some answers because I was finally fed up. they told me they would call within 5 days to give me my results. I waited a week and called they informed me the doctor couldnt sign off on my results yet and he wouldnt be in because his wife recently went into labor. Ok I get that so I waited a few more days, at this point the pain was unbearing and I begged them to give me my results and the medicine to fix it (No, it was nothing that needed pain killers). Anyways they still refused to give me my results or the medicine... I would go to another place but I am a single mother and am not financially secure to pay for all tHis after after total of 3 weeks they finally called me and gave me my results and medicine... which ended up not fixing the problem, so now I have to see a specialist. Not to mention I have to pay for this crappy Experience. Never again.

Dont get me wrong, Covenant Care is a GREAT Medical Practice! However, they REALLY need to get some customer service training for their office and billing staff. You come into this beautiful facility and are greeted by snooty receptionist that have no personality and no real desire to help you. I really dont know what else they do, but they act like you are such a distraction and burden to their lives. It really is sad. Now, heaven forbid you have a billing question. If you do, you will have to deal with the most demeaning staff I have ever experienced. They act as if you are the dumbest person in the world, and how dare you question them. Again really sad that they act this way. Besides all that, you will receive EXCELLENT MEDICAL CARE! I guess its just unfortunate that the medical professionals here tend to forget that their practice is still customer service oriented...or at least should be...

simple medication refill. Coventry Care told me they sent my prescription to DOD. After the 4th time calling and several visits to the pharmacy on post, hopefully they got it fixed. Unreal that a patient has to call 4 times and visit pharmacy 4 times before they get it right. Every pharmacy in town to include DOD says its Coventry care. Many patients tell me the same thing. I heard the CEO and owner crying about being in his truck to 7 at night trying to call in prescriptions. Time for Coventry Care to really Care and quit with the mediocrity. I talked with several nurses and front desk personal in an attempt to rectify the problem and it took three weeks and 4 visits to post. Looking for a new provider. Any company that has a 2.9 approval rating the CEO should ne taking a deep look inside.

I had to pay for a service because my insurance was cancelled mistakingly. This was in March. When it was fixed which was in less than 24 hours, I let them know. They said they would issue a refund. Its June 19, 2017 and the refund still hasnt been processed. They submitted the request but the accountant they have Trey Judd still hasnt processed it. They dont have contact information for him. He seems to come in when he wants to and work when he wants to. Not only that, Ive changed so many doctors within this clinic I dont even know who my doctor is. The only consistent doctor was Andrew Dennison. He left and I havent seen the same doctor since. Its been a year. The staff changes so much its ridiculous. I am searching for another doctor because this one is horrific.

I have seen many of the different providers in the practice, as I am a provider myself here. There is not one person here I wouldnt trust with my family. I would like to specifically recognize Elizabeth Rainey, PA-C, Jewell Kaylor, NP-C, and Christine Laramee, PA-c who have personally cared for me. Also, I would like to recognize Dr. Moore for all his help with my husband when he got injured. Most of all I would like to praise EVERY SINGLE nurse here for all their hard work. Their hard work makes our days more fluent. I would be absolutely lost without Kilee Brooks, CMA. She makes life so much easier, and helps to make sure our patients are cared for every day.
