Not sure who is writing these reviews but overall not a great experience. I actually experienced the opposite with urgency and felt it was too laid back with how quickly I was seen for my condition. Aside from the care I had numerous billing issues since my last visit in Feb 2016. I had paid all of my bills back when first provided. Since then another bill showed up in the end of Aug. I called and spoke with billing and told it was a mistake for a test and disregard. It was only for $15 so figured it was addressed but did not toss the statement. Today I just received another bill for the same amount called and spoke with Donna the mgr and basically told they applied a $15 credit and $7 credit but I still owe $15???? When I stated that did not make sense I was chuckled at and just said they would send a new bill but I owed it! I asked where the records were in the ticket when I called on 8/22 and told there are none. Then asked to get the recording played back and told they dont have any? What the heck is that, not to mention I was given a wrong number for corporate when asked. I called the patient advocate and left a message, no call back as of yet. Basically I just paid the $15 as to not have a collection issue but definitely felt slighted and lied too! My advice go to a more professional center that actually cares and has employees you can trust not to be disregarded on a second call. For $15 they lost my business, my families and anyone else that asks. The BBB has numerous open cases reported for billing with this establishment. Not sure how you can have HIPAA compliance if people are not taking your information!!!!!! Take my advice and GO ELSEWHERE.

AFC is seriously the best clinic around here. They are always so sweet to me and my son. Last time I had to get vaccines, they showed him dry ice, showed him around the office, gave him a balloon and an ice pop and just did a great job at talking to him and engaging with him while I was getting shots. Then yesterday, I had to go get my titers done and the nurse asked him to help her, which he loved! She gave him some gloves, an empty specimen tube, a cotton ball, and a band aid. And he would hand the items to her when she needed them. Then on the way out, she made him a "doctors bag" full of gloves, cotton balls, face masks, empty specimen tubes, and band aids. Oh, and an ice pop haha.. I mean really... They are just amazing! He was talking about his doctors bag all day. This is long and I dont ever do this but I had to brag about this place! Its hard to find an office where they take time with their patients, while being so personable and caring. I recommend this place to everybody!

I went to the clinic for a blood draw and physical. The physical was fine; Brief but efficient. The blood draw was an utter failure. I am a fit man in my early 30s. Ive never had issues with blood draws. It took 3 attempts and they still were not able to get enough blood for the necessary tests. I was actually told by one nurse/tech that the gloves irritated her hands so she couldnt wear them. I returned 2 days later for a fasting draw. After one vial, the tech again moved the needle and lost it. He told me that he had enough. I then received a call later in the day saying that I would need to come back and provide another sample because the earlier one was not good. My experience and observations have led me to go somewhere else in the future. Their techs do not appear to have enough training to do their jobs well. They did see me quickly and may be well suited for the cold/flu, but I will never recommend this location to anyone for anything more serious.

This past Sunday my three year old niece fell and split her lip. We were on our way to American Family Care but realized we may be about two or three minutes after their closing time. We called and explained the situation (as her mother was frantic to get her to the doctors office just to make sure the little one didnt need stitches). When we called, the person that answered the phone was exceptionally rude and despite the scenario stated they would not work with us on the extra two or three minutes. She simply stated they would not wait and that was that. My sister in law ended up taking her three year old to the ER which could have been avoided if American Family Care had a little compassion and was willing to wait two or three minutes to help a bleeding and scared three year old. I will NEVER give this facility my business again.

We arrived 20 mins before closing and there was one other person in the waiting room. The nurse that called us back never introduced herself and barely spoke. We were there with a sick 7 year old who did her best to have a conversation with the nurse, but was totally ignored! The nurse never even acknowledged that our daughter was speaking. She was obviously angry that we were there, because she wanted to go home. I have NEVER seen a healthcare worker so disrespectful to a patient! The only reason I give this place two stars is because the doctor, Dr.Kromer, was wonderful with our girl. He was attentive and funny, and gave great care. Its a shame not all the staff has his bedside manner.

Rude from the start. Had to wait for receptionist to get off the phone. Waiting room was empty. Still took 2 hrs. The doctor was rude. Didnt listen, spent about 90 seconds in room then walked out. I will never go here again. The couple that left same time as me were also very unhappy and wont be coming back either. Office was open the day before but the doctor left so they couldnt see patients. Dont know why they stayed open. Just poor rude service. Its a shame.

Clean, fairly new facility. Staff polite and professional. Visit not rushed. Exam process appropriate to illness and doctor took time to discuss findings and remedy with me. Obviously not an ER but a good convenient and pleasant place for general medical treatment. We were traveling so no access to our regular physician and showing up at an ER for non-emergency condition is never a personal choice.

Not worth it. My son went in for an ear infection and was given the wrong medicine. Then we had to deal with a massive headache when it came to billing. We received a letter from collections before we received any bill or type of notice from them. I would guess it easier to try to get ahold of the president of the United States than American Family Care customer service rep.
