WORSE HOSPITAL ON THIS PLANET IT IS WITH THE SURGERY CENTER I THINK SOMEONE SENTARA ADMISNTARATION NEEDS TO LOOK INTO THE WAY THE OUTPATIENT SURGERY CENTER IS HANDLING THIER PATIETNS AND HOW RUDE THEY ARE BECAUSE I CAN ASSURE YOU THEY ARE FOLLOWING SENTARA GUIDELINES ON DISCHARGE ETC. I KNOW FIRST HAND BECAUSE MY MOM HAS HAD 2 COLONSCOPIES THERE AND EACH TIME SHE HAS A REALLY BAD EXPERIENCES WITH THE NURESES AND FELT RUSHED OUT OF THE DOOR GET A FEW LESSIONS ON PATIENT CARE FROM SENTARA WILLIAMSBURG REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER WHO ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THIER PATIENTS WELL BEING AND ALSO THE HOSPTIAL IS DIRTY WHY DONT YOU CLEAN IT MORE OFTEN WILL NEVER RETURN FOR ANYTHING AT THIS HOSPITAL NOR SENTARA CAREPLEX BECAUSE THEY DONT CARE ABOUT YOU NOR I DO CARE ABOUT THEM ETC. SHUT THIS PLACE DOWN OR HIRE SOME CARING NURSES THAT KNOW HOW TO START AN IV ETC.

Went to er yesterday and it was terrible!! Not the first time I have had a bad experience but it will be the last time because I will never go back and would not recommend it to anyone, the charge nurse Shannon was rud,disrespectful, and very unprofessional told me she would with hold my prescription because I wouldnt let her bully me,they treated me as if I was a there for drugs because I needed pain meds.the Dr had a attitude never touched me so how can you take care of me?! Told me I couldnt take a cab home that I had to have someone to pick me up or I couldnt have any pain meds.I have never been treated so bad in my life!! I am in the medical field and everything I was told not to do in my training was done by these people.I wouldnt take my dog to this place!!

My son was running a fever of 104. After spending four (4) hours there with only 5 other patients ahead of us in the emergency room, we finally left never having seen a doctor or even asked if I had any questions. Ive had the same issue with Sentara before when I went for severe stomach cramps except they actually *SMIRKED* at me when I told them I was in pain like I was a drug addict. They gave me I.V. fluids without EVER seeing a doctor or explanation what may have been the cause! Never...NEVER again. I suggest you go to Mary Immaculate or your local witch doctor for better care.

Absolutely ridiculous. Since when doea the person at the desk give medical advice and tell somebody to go buy something ovwe the counter. NEVER because you not a doctor. You not a nurse either. Wait time ridiculous almost 4 hours and still aitting in waiting room. Theres people with all different types of illnesses. People coughing, sneezing, red swollen extremities, cuts, burns, and rashes. Not one person has came in the waiting area to wipe or clean anything. Poorest customer service ever.

This is the only place I will come for an emergency check up. You wont catch me at Riverside or sentara in hampton. From the checkin,nurses,doctors are all knowledgeable and friendly and speedy. No one wants to spend 3-4 hours in The e.r. every time Ive came 35-45 minutes top. And you dont feel rushed...

Awful experience, was kept waiting for two hours and was "helped" by an extremely disrespectful and patronizing nurse who did not even mention she drew blood when giving a shot, and left it there to stain. Will never return.

Went to the ER for both me and my 8 month old son and didnt have to wait long to be brought to a room. The nurses were very nice and informative too. They were patient and kind. Always had a smile.
