I am completely dissatisfied with the treatment I received at this Patient First. While the staff was courteous and polite, I went in for a severe bladder infection and was given 10 days of an antiobiotic that I later learned from my primary care does not even treat the type of infection I had. The side effects that I had from this antibiotic were awful, and I ended up back at this location within a week. During this visit, I was told to completely stop taking the antibiotic as it appeared my infection had cleared up. Two days later, I received a call from yet another doctor at the same Patient First advising that I still had an infection and it was resistant to the previous antibiotic. I was then prescribed a second broad-spectrum antibiotic for another 10 days, which I later learned, again, is not normally prescribed to treat a bladder infection at all, nonetheless one caused by E Coli. From taking both the broad-spectrum antibiotics for about 3 weeks, in total, I still was not feeling well and followed up with my primary care, which was when I learned that I was prescribed two antibiotics incorrectly. Within a week of that visit, I returned to my primary care again only to find out that I now have C Diff from the courses of antibiotics I was on. I dont want a customer service phone number to call, or a free visit, or money, or anything. I just want you to know that you completely RUINED an entire month of my life -- and from what Im being told by my primary care and a close family member who is a critical care nurse, this will be no easy or short recovery. This is completely unacceptable, ridiculous, and frustrating, and I hope that one day you stop prescribing your patients with bullshit.

I have been to this location a couple times with my kids and decided to never go there again as I had awful experiences. I now always take them to the clinic in Target on Campbells, right down the street. They are clean and the NPs are awesome. I had to take myself to Oatient First yesterday for abdominal pain. I decided to go there because its located in Johns Hopkins and its really close to my house. Boy did I regret my decision. After my labs came back ok, he seemed flustered at the idea of trying to figure out what was wrong. He knew I was in pain, but came back and said that hes going to discharge me and that I should just keep an eye on it for 24 hours. I have been having this pain for 6 days!!!! Yet he wants me to wait 24 hours. It was getting worse every day. So I wasted my time there and was very upset when I left. Dr. Paul Wu was his name. Do yourself a favor, dont go here. While there were a couple nice people during my check in process, the doctor was horrible and youll be wasting your time. He seemed irritated that my case was complicated. It seemed to be his attitude that night as he was complaining loudly outside my door about some man who came in with some head injury. Another complicated case. Very unprofessional to talk about it in front of everyone. Wheres patient confidentiality? Horrible horrible ....I cant stress enough how bad this clinic is. Never again, I dont care how convenient the location is. Now I have to try and see a different doctor again for the same issue.mwhatba waste of my time.

Really should be called Patient Worst....sub par...do not go. The Physicians really dont care at all, will give you about 60 seconds of their time, and will gladly recommend over the counter medication to you....after taking your Insurance Co Pay of course! What a SCAM.. I cannot wait to get a form response from Fawn! Looks like Fawn gave me her ol pat cut & paste response. Do you think I want to hear any of your lame excuses? Lets get to Part 2 Billing - Yes Patient First even gets worse AFTER your Office visit because here comes your Bill. Your highly inaccurate Bill.. It does not matter how many times you have visited this poor excuse for a Medical Facility, they will mess up your bill EVERY time. This time they had the temerity to say that my Insurance was not if effect that day - total Charge 305.67 for the above service. My Insurance has not changed in 18 years. I am with the same Employer. Fun fact My Insurance Co. sent me a breakdown letter of my Patient First visit from 09/02.. 349.50 - everything but my $25 zeroed out - They say I owe nothing! Thats right My Insurance say I owe nothing, but Patient First wants $305.67 Obviously my Insurance was contacted by Patient First, but again - this business is a scam and they hope that you just pay whatever bill they send to you. I feel sorry for the Elderly they rope in. I did end up contacting their Billing Department to resubmit it again to Blue Cross, but you need to do this after every visit with them. Do not go.

I went to Patient First in February 2015. In 2014, I had Aetna insurance. In 2015, my employer switched to Meritian. At the time, I provided my new Meritian insurance card. Patient First billed incorrectly billed it to my old insurance (Aetna) instead of my current insurance (Meritian). For months, my husband and I called and argued with them over the incorrect billing. They always reassured us that they would correct their mistake. A few months ago, they finally did Bill Meritian, but they used an emergency room billing code rather than an urgent care billing code. Patient First is an urgent care, not an emergency room, but apparently their billing people cant figure that out. We called and called. In March 2016- 13 months after I was seen as a patient- one of their supervisors told us she had finally figured out how to bill the insurance correctly and that we didnt need to worry about it. Imagine my surprise when I received a call yesterday from a collections agency over $205. I paid the bill with the collections company this morning, even though it was not my debt to pay. I called the Patienr First corporate billing line and the woman I spoke to said it was written clearly in the notes that they would rebill in March 2016, but that it "must have fallen through the cracks because that was the last time anyone left notes on the account." Its just such bull crap. The billing department needs to get its act together.

Im 60 years old & started feeling sick on Friday waking up that night with a dry mouth & throat Went in on a Sunday trying to get a jump on a sinus infection (had them treated here before). Ticket states I was seen at 8:10,not true that is when they took my money. I was seen around 8:35. I was told I had a common cold & did not need antibiotic but she was going to give me what I wanted. Instead of checking my records on what I was prescribe before she gave me a prescription for a zpac. A zpac Im told by my doctor & his nurse is useless. Thanks to this physician assistant my condition turn into bronchitis. Im now on a stronger prescription & a inhaler. Shouldnt patient first have a doctor on site also? This assistant made me feel like I only wanted drugs like a junkie, even offer me cough syrup with codeine which I had refused. Now my health insurance not only paid patient first for their sloppy work but had to paid my doctor also (plus my copay of $30 for each visit). I will contact my health insurance about paying for a assistant instead of a doctor at patient first. Doesnt patient first pay any attention to news reports stating that viruses today are stronger then in the past. Lucky I had seen a real doctor before it got worst. I will never go back to patient first, they can burn my records on file there.
