This Center is as bad if not worse than Beach Health Clinic! Information is NOT given to everyone when they make an appointment as to what paperwork they need to bring with them in order to be seen that day. Please be at least 1/2 early for your appointment if you are 5 minutes late you WILL NOT be seen NO MATTER what the reason. They do not care how far you had to come to get there or how you got there, you are only a piece of paper unless of course you know how to work these girls that work the front desk. That also was a treat I went to school to be a Medical Assistant and I had to take English classes ebonics do not belong in a doctors office. Why is it that they talk like they have not ever been to school. "I talk wif the doctor, you aint suppose to do dat" I did not stay and listen to the rest of the conversation. If I spoke to someone like that I would loose my job. In 17 years of being a Medical Assistant I have never seen anything like this place.

Park Place Medical Center is an excellent resource for those that have no insurance or other forms of medical coverage. If you have medical coverage, then of course you can go to a private doctor. If not, then this is a much better resource than going to the Hospital Emergency Room or Health Department, which costs far more and forces insurance costs to rise. You pay based on a sliding scale which is dependent upon your income. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable so long as you are respectful to them. Since this center serves people in the lower socio-economic bracket, it has the same environment that you would expect to see at any other type of social work facility. Compared to similar clinics of its kind in the Hampton Roads Area, as opposed to private practice, I give it an "Above Average" rating.

Dr Markovic is the best physician Ive ever seen. speaks slowly, is very compassionate, treats me like an intelligent human being. One time I went there .5 hour early, they saw me right way. Another time I went it was very busy, but they were only 20 minutes late in seeing me. Ive had to have blood drawn here, and normally phlebotomists have a REALLY hard time with my veins, but she got it in the first try.

I only visit 1 time and I was completely satisfied with the service. From the registration, to getting labs done I felt someone cared about what was wrong with me. if you dont have insurance this is by far the best , professional service you will receive...... Thank You

The staff has been very friendly. The care has been excellent. Dr. Markovic has provided excellent medical care for me. I have no insurance and they have referred me to other medical places as needed for assistance in my medical care needs .
