Absolutely horrible. This is my official shout out for "0" stars. Long story short, wife sees a general physician, referred to ER. ER states we have to refer you to a Dr in our network, (I quote directly) "because this is a business we refer in network". ER also states, "we have to refer you to another Dr because were also not equipped, and dont have a GI Dr to read the scan even if we were equipped". Go to see Dr referred to, cant believe what he heard. Come to find out the hospital did have the equipment to exam, and radiology reads said exam. Not a GI Dr. Had to go back to the hospital again to get the exam. Everything checks out fine. Leave hospital. Get a call at 9pm, stating she needs a ct scan. Said come back to hospital after spending a total of 12 hours over the course of 2 days there. Could of killed 3 birds with 1 stone. Hippa laws violated. Admissions had someone else sign our papers. We ended up signing someone elses. Almost left with wrong paperwork. After arriving at hospital for third time, double checked info from admissions from previous visit. ALL personal information taken was wrong. Address, phone numbers (mine and hers) emergency contacts etc. All staff combined seems to have the IQ of 17. A slice of bologna has more smarts than these idiots. And whats really sad is the bill. Thousands of dollars. And for what? The run around? Do not use this place. In an emergency you would have a better chance at teaching a fish to ride a bicycle then surviving these idiots who have a total of 6 months in the med field. Its all about $$$$$$$$. Now I see why security violates privacy by rooting around in personal belongings before they let you enter (because i can see where someone would go nuts in a bad situation at an establishment like this). Heavy security? At the ER? Welcome to the future of America.

I smashed my finger and broke the bone while receiving a half severed finger where the tissue came off the bone. The morning it happened, I went to the ER. It took 3 hours to get an x-ray, 4 stitches and a brace. I was informed that I would not be bleeding. An hour later, I noticed blood and called them up. The physician assistant informed me to apply slight pressure for 10 mins for it to stop. I followed their instructions and 6 hours later, my bandage was 90% covered in blood. I called them up, and they told me to come in. The bandage was removed, and the staff walked out keeping my wound exposed to contamination and for me to be supporting my broken bone( and half of my finger being held by 4 stiches) for 3 hours. I continued to request for covering it and finally got rebandage. 2 hours later, I was seen for less then 2 mins by the doctor only to have him tell me that I was good to go for a new bandage. The facility was short staffed of qualified physicians and staff. I removed my bandage three times and spent 5 hours just to get it redressed. While I was being wrapped up, the staff was not considerate of my pain and roughly handled my finger squeezing it very tightly and doing a botched up job with the wrapping. The first visit in the afternoon was alright, but the evening services were aweful.

I injured my ankle, thinking I had only sprained or twisted it. Upon arrival, I was met by the friendly admissions staff who collected a wheelchair for me to save the weight off of my ankle. My 2 year old daughter accompanied me, the nurses were so caring to our needs and made sure that we knew how to work the television and brought us warm blankets and even talked to and made conversation with Izzy so she would not feel left out!! Dr. C.M. Smolarz was the doctor that I saw who listened to all that had happened to bring me in to the ER. He laid out a plan of action (X-rays and their results) and made sure that I knew exactly what was going to be going on during each step of my treatment. Dr. Smolarz was very personable and professional and also very kind to the fact that I did have my young daughter with me. He spoke to her and made her feel at ease also. ( Most doctors never give a child in the room a second glance, and his kindness will not soon be forgotten!!) Once the X-rays results returned and the doctor came back in to tell us what was going on, I felt to much relief to know that here is a doctor who understands.

My Mother in Law suffered from what seemed to have been a stroke. She was rushed to the ER by the ambulance. Instead of being seen right away (her whole entire left side was limp), they placed her in a WHEEL CHAIR. When she asked for the Wheel chair to be situated so she could prop her legs due to major pain, the male nurse simply put a child she chair under her legs. She still hurt, so he decided to place her hurt leg over the leg she could not feel. I know for a FACT Patients have RIGHTS in hospitals. I know for a FACT my Father in Law notified the E.R nurses that she had passed out and came to being unable to move and speak clearly. Yet, for some odd reason that MAJOR detail was left out of her paperwork! I am beyond disgusted and downright upset! I had higher hopes for this hospital!

I was very impressed with the ICU & staff.. they were very helpful & friendly ... BUT after my moms surgery they sent her to the 2nd floor & care wasnt as good. She was in there for 24 hours & they didnt get her up to walk or anything until they were sending her home or give her a bath-she had been in the hospital for 4 days!!! - they assisted her to the bathroom one time & then called me to come get her. They released her b/c of insurance but they DID NOT do their part to prepare her for release. Very disappointed with Baptist health.

Had to go to the ER today and while no one ever wants to have to go to the ER, the staff made it out to be a good experience. Michelle was my nurse who was very kind and compassionate. The MD and PAs that I saw showed genuine concern for my well being and made sure I had everything I needed before I went home. Its an emergency room and I know if I dont see anyone for a little while that they are helping someone else who needed it more than myself. Overall, I cannot complain about my experience in any way. Thank you, Baptist in Conway!

I took my 6yr old to be treated for a swollen ankle. First off we sat there from 5-8 and was only called to the triage, they didnt call her back for an xray or anything. Then when a man finally came out he was handing out crayons to the children then told us there were no rooms in the back for her to be seen by a Dr. in. This is ridiculous and Baptist Hospital in Conway, AR need ti get it together or they need to bring UAMS on to Conway.

Nice enough for most part except for one particular ER dr...I wont name names.....This facility is short staffed for the entire health care of the whole body, the cardiac unit however is well staffed and caring! If you have anything complicated go elsewhere! They are not staffed or equipped with gastroenterologists so if you have an emergency for that your better of at Conway Regional! Baptist is a nice place but if
