DONT GO THERE! I REPEAT..DONT GO THERE!! Either they will turn you away, or they wont do anything for you. They dont want your business....only your money. I was turned away in January, by Jessica, when I was having an allergic reaction to a medication. I was having trouble breathing, and have a history of Anaphylaxis. I told her all this. She didnt care. She told me to go to my doctor. I ended up in the doctors office 2 times that day, and an IV the second time. Recently, I had to go to Baptist Health ER, and Dr. Duke wrote me a prescription for that very same medication that I had the reaction to. It is well documented that I am allergic to it. Her license needs to be taken from her, and I am going to work very hard at getting it done. When I told her, she wouldnt give me anything else. Everyone over there is rude and hateful. Dont consider going there unless you are on your death bed, and then just stay home and die. Thats what will happen to you anyway if you go there!!

I have physical bruising, very large bruising put on my chest wall by Dr. Douangkesone, last saturday, one week ago today. This was done purposely by him hitting on my chest, extremely hard bringing me to tears, for 20 minutes! He will be hearing from a lawyer....I will sue him and Baptist Health. The visit to Baptist Heber caused me further problems. I was hospitilized the next day...almost in complete renal failure. Dr. Blackburn is no better either. A specific nurse there done some unethical things that caused all this, and she will be reported to the State Board of Nursing as well. They will hear about this as soon as I am able to do something about it!! I caution you....DO NOT GO THERE!!!

A Sunday morning 2 months ago at 4 am my 90 year old mother was confused and very weak I thought she had a stroke. I took her to the Heber Springs Baptist Health Medical Center and within 5 minutes after arriving we were in a treatment room. It was discovered she had a high temperature she was given some Tylenol and within 15 minutes she was back to normal. Lab work was taken and it was positive for an UTI which was causing her high fever. I was very impressed with the excellent care she was given by the nurses and the doctors. We were on our way home 2 hours after she had arrived at the hospital. Our experience with Baptist Health Medical Center Heber Springs was very positive.

While on weekend escape to Heber Springs, I started experiencing some fluttering followed by higher-than-usual heart rate. I was certain that nothing was wrong but just to give myself some peace about it, I thought Id run up to the ER and have it checked out. Even though I was sure it was just anxiety that was keeping my heart rate up, the staff took the whole thing very seriously. I never waited on anyone for more than 2-3 minutes and every one seemed genuinely concerned and professional. The facility is new and of course clean. The whole experience was reassuring and positive.

A clean, well designed, up-to-date hospital, with friendly, personable and knowledgeable staff. Our nurse and anesthesiologist were very experienced and calming (no pun intended), while Dr. Wallace has a great bedside manner and was a competent surgeon for a wrist fracture. Our only complaint might be that he wait time with an appointment was a little long, almost two hours. However, the care was excellent, which was the most important criteria for us.

This is a VERY bad hospital. I do not recommend coming here if you have an emergency. Ive been waiting in the ER for three hours with appendix problems. Id rather have it burst and Jesus take me now than wait there EVER AGAIN!!!

Nice people and clean environment but very long ER wait times. We waited for hours! And there werent many ahead of us. We averaged an hour per patient that was taken back. Ridiculous. Get it together, Baptist Health

Slow as they can be just to get a cpl stitches is taking forever was only one cpl ahead when we got here over two hours ago and we are still waiting on dr to give a cpl stitches patience running very thin....

They dont seem like they want to help much. You have to pretty much beg for treatment and antibiotics. Its ridiculous.
