I had bariatric surgery here a week ago. I had received the sleeve gastrectomy. The care I received from the moment I checked-in for surgery until the time I was discharged was above and beyond what I have ever expected from a hospital. I recieved 5 star treatment. Not only were the nurses and the anesthesiologist competent and quick at their jobs, but they made me feel comfortable and at ease right away. Very impressive. They were so kind as well. I went to another hospital years ago for a surgery and I never received this kind of treatment. The cnas, nurses, various medical teams that were assigned to me for my care and my surgeon were absolutely competent. They never made me wait for long periods of time to go to the bathroom, and they had me up and on my feet within a few hours of my surgery. Dr Farah Husain performed my sleeve gastrectomy and I will refer her to anyone and everyone. She is the kindest surgeon that I have ever met, and her capabilities and skill set are beyond most surgeons in my opinion. The technology that OHSU has in comparison to other hospitals is more technical and much more advanced by far. OHSU has superseded its name as usual and is going to be "my" go to hospital from now on regarding my healthcare as well as my familys. Thank you OHSU and well done.

I have been a patient at OHS you for several years. I started off with the Harold Schnitzer Diabetic and Endocrinology Clinic and have received healthcare through various other departments within the hospital work position. All the staff have been very helpful and have answered any questions that Ive had with confidence. I continue to keep the diabetic clinic as my care clinic for my diabetes and every time I walk in there they know me by name they ask me how my day is how life has been and so forth I absolutely love the staff. I would recommend this hospital organization to anybody with praise.

I was able to get into my appointment right on time and I left feeling 100% about the doctors knowledge and care for me. All my questions were answered with a kind smile. And, I would like to add I love that theres a board letting patients know off the doctor they are seeing is on time out if you can expect to wait. If you must wait...it also gives you an idea on how long. I loved the experience I had at OHSU.

Extensive medical services and great environment, I always enjoy myself whenever I have to come here for an appointment. But be careful - dont let them do anything to you without first finding out how much its going to cost. A several minute endoscopy (quickly looking in your nose with a light and a camera) can cost upwards of $600 here, and they definitely wont tell you that before doing it.

Everyone - from Reception to Labs, Nurses to Physicians, Dietitians to Instructors - has been top notch. Friendly, beyond competent, and inspiring of confidence in services provided. My HMO is elsewhere, and Ive been receiving out of network treatment; I would transfer to OHSU if I could.

Clean, modern, and friendly. Theres a ton of bike parking outside, too, and its right at the foot of the sky tram. If you take the streetcar, be sure you get on the NS line: the A and B loops turn at the bridge instead of continuing down the waterfront.

I had to have a heart transplant and decided to make OHSU my primary hospital. .....so glad I did that. .....I have to say everyone who works there are just amazing, courteous and like a second family to me. Yeah they absolutely get a 5 star rating!

Getting to the center was a little tricky, and parking was no picnic, but once I got my father inside and to his doctors office all anxieties were gone. With great help and gentle care he received it was overall a good experience.

Parking is absolutely ridiculous due to construction and no places to park. Have to be here a 6 in order to park unless you wanna pay to park to go to a doctors appt. Waste of time and gas money until construction is complete.

I see my neurosurgeon there and the hosts are amazing and it is right next to the tram and also has enough parking. The people are friendly and you can easily find what floor you need to go to and if you cant the hosts will.

Lovely facility, bright and open! Love that the building also houses a coffee shop, a cafe, eye clinic, and a wellness center that offers massage, acupuncture, etc. Only wish parking was better!
