I used this clinic on several occasion with different doctors throughout 4 years. While I cant say anything about the doctors since I am not one, I can definitely speak for the administrative part - it is awful! I am not even considering minor things. The clinics billing department submitted my bill to collections before even billing me first. After a few unpleasnt conversations with pushy collectors and figuring out what was the deal, I called Pearl Health Center just to find out that they were unclear about what have happened with my bill, but "OK, we will call it off from collections". Not even a "sorry" for almost screwing up my good credit. Another time I was referred to MRI, and when I tried to schedule MRI visit they said that Pearl Health Clinic submitted incomplete referral form... OK, several days later and a few calls this was resolved. After my MRI was done I tried to schedule another appointment with Pearl Health and insisted on scheduling appointment at a later date to make sure that MRI results are back. When I come back to the clinic I find that the doctor cant see me because MRI hasnt forwarded my results yet. OK, I thought and administrator would figure this before the appointment and reschedule it, so I dont have to waste my time. Finally, days later, I see the doctor and get a referral to see a specialist at another clinic. In front of me the doctor at Pearl Health hands the paper and asks an assistant to fax it to the specialist and then tells me to schedule appointment with the specialist today. After a few hours I couldnt have scheduled anything, since the specialist did not recieve the referral. A few days later the same story. I call Pearl Health just to find out that no one was doing anything to send this referral, even more so, they dont know to whom referr me. OK, at this point I decided to take as much as I can in my own hands, but I cant even send email to the Pearl Health center, since their email is not working and contact form on the website is broken. How hard it is to just have your email working these days??!! Very unpleasant experience.

I went to this office because it was conveniently located and I liked the idea of having a doctor into natural health as well. In my time there (today was my last visit and the last straw), the front office has failed a few times to call me back or to get a message to my doctor. Sometimes you dont get to see who youre scheduled with & if you do find someone you like, you can bet they wont be there in 4-6 months. The owner is a bit of a quack and it becomes obvious when you realize she cant keep any decent talent. In my last two visits, because there was nobody else to see, I had to have my appointment scheduled with the owner. After being treated for years for ADHD (elsewhere & at Pearl Health for about a year), she decides in my appointment for a refill (which I would have to pay to have every month on top of the prescription price- greed much?) that shes not going to refill and wants me to undergo a new mental health evaluation. Shes unhelpful, does not listen and told me her "job is not to let you tell her whats wrong." Then what is your job? To load me up with anti-depressants even though I said clearly, THREE TIMES, I do not want to take an antidepressant. That was her repeated solution so I literally walked out of my appointment after she said, "Ive seen ADHD, you dont have it. People cant sit still when they have ADHD." Im 26, youve met me twice. You dont think Ive learned to sit in a chair in the doctors office? Should have walked out a long time ago. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY.

DO NOT GO TO THIS CLINIC. Shari Freshman-House, owner and FNP, is a total quack. She is condescending, rude, and even managed to bring me to tears out of frustration and anger. I was scheduled to see the healthcare provider I had chosen and had seen before, regarding an injury in my shoulder that I acquired from a poorly placed needle by the nurse during the first visit 9 days earlier. Instead of the provider I had scheduled with, I got Shari who informed me my provider was "busy." She offered me zero help, insinuated I needed therapy because I was crying, and then even suggested I was only there for drugs! The more she spoke, the more I realized that she has no idea what she is talking about. Word salads and non-scientifically backed utter nonsense. She was clearly only trying to protect herself from a possible malpractice lawsuit, rather than helping me with my injury that THEY CAUSED! She never even examined my shoulder. In the time I was stuck in that room with her, she managed to indirectly call me a liar, a drug addict, and unstable. I have never had such a horrible experience from a healthcare professional. I am finding nothing but similar terrible reviews about her on multiple sites, and I wish I had found them BEFORE I went to this clinic. I will NEVER go back there.

terrible! They are not licenced to prescribe pain meds or any drug that the federal goverment deems a narcotic. Neither will your health insursnce approve an MRI OR CT, because they are not acrediable, so for a year I have been getting a run around and lied to with some follow up care that is needed. Not until an accident and some further follow up needed that upon further invesigating, i find out that they are not a up and aboard Clinic, they have a doctor thats not licenced to hand out prescriptions that are on a feds list and you need a drug number, that only because of their natural pathetic status they remain open, and your health insurance wont approve such further procedures because their not an acrediable clinic, wondered why they go threw so many doctors and nurses, that maybe why every six months to a year i was given a new nurse practioner and or a new doctor, so at the risk of your health they perceive this lie that they are a full functioning clinic

I would not recommend this health center to anyone. I recently moved to Oregon to attend college and couldnt afford insurance so I opted for public health insurance. They discriminate based on the insurance you have and I never received the treatment I deserved. This health facility also does not have any doctors on site, only nurse practitioners. My assigned NP always told me that I was too overweight and needed to lose weight instead of attending to my health concerns. She claimed that weight loss will cure any ailment; I highly disagree. Also be aware that this health center will almost never prescribe you with prescriptions because they believe alternate treatments are far superior. If you need a place to go for bumps, bruises, and colds this is the place to go. For everything else, find a good doctor.

Dr. Campbell was excellent. He really took the time to make sure all of my concerns were addressed and was very warm and kind. The secretary, however, is rude, abrasive and should not be in that role. She seems non-communicative with the other staff and does not take the stance of the customer is always right. I dont understand why the owner of the Pearl Health Center hasnt read these reviews and made changes to their staff. As soon as you do make these changes PHC, please send out a note card saying such because I really would like to keep Dr. Campbell as my GP-I just dont think I can bear to deal with your secretary again. So, overall conclusion is that the medical staff was most excellent while the remainder of the staff needs to work in a heartless, cold setting....maybe health insurance :)
