attempted to rule out a lump on my leg as either a varicose vein or something else, scheduled an MRI and after 4 weeks never got a call back. after I called them, they asked when i would like to schedule and appointment. i states that i was dissatisfied with the service and just want to know if it is a varicose vein not, and that if it was not then i was planning on going someplace else. they states they could not tell me what it is and the only way was to make another appointment because the doctor was too busy. i said he can call back or just pass a message and they said no. then asked to get me records and they said they were not sure they could do that and they would ask the Dr if he was willing to do what i asked and call me back. 6 weeks later....no call. a friend had an MRI at the same time and had the same no phone call back problem. i told him not to go through with the surgery and to see someone else, but he did not listen. the surgery went well, but he had many other problems, among them getting a not to not have to go back to work. "the doctor is too busy. you will have to schedule an appointment to get a note" i think that is the biggest problem with them, and you can tell by the waiting room. just too busy, or as the old saying goes...."the Dr must have a vacation home that he needs to pay off...."

Surprisingly unprofessional. After 3 reminders to be 20 minutes early for my appointment, I wasnt seen by anyone until 60 minutes AFTER that time. They had no idea why I was there - kept telling me I was going to need X-rays when I not only already had them, but had also been through an MRI. No one had looked at anything involved in my case and the Physicians Assistant was clearly ad-libbing when reading off the radiologists interpretation of my MRI results. He looked at me oddly when I told him my goal was to run again, then disappeared for a half-hour to consult with a doctor. On his return, he told me there is no problem with my resuming running. How this can be escapes me, when presently I even have trouble walking. I am most disappointed with Kitsap Orthopedics and will be letting them know.

I havent even been in to see any of these doctors and dont plan on it. The first time I called I was immediately put on hold. I held for 11 minutes when a woman asked hello Jacob how are you. I said this isnt Jacob Im holding for an appointment. She then said in a rude manner SORRY WRONG NUMBER! I continued to hold another 8 minutes a woman answered in a rude manner WHO ARE U WAITING FOR! I told her the same thing I told the first person. Then after another 9 minutes I some how got disconnected. I called back one last time told them what had happened. They got very short with me and very rude. I am glad I read the reviews before I had made a mistake and set up an appointment. Very bad communication skills.

Been there twice....2 strikes so far! Saw Dr Cox (PA) the first time he was clueless. Saw Dr Sumerall this last time for back pain that I have had for years...x-ray taken and then he said it was just soft tissue not bone so he cant help me. I said well should I do anything or not do anything and he said dont do anything that will bother it...I said like standing, sitting, walking, or living? He just stood there looking at me as I was about to lose my composure and then walked out...I was like um are we done so I followed him and he went into his office. So I left...... I have never felt so helpless and insulted in my life! If they cant make money on surgery they dont want to help you.

Came in 5 days ago and was looked over on my injury and the person I saw was James he seemed short and didnt have much patience with me . We did what he wanted to have me do and didnt seem to care much as I tried to explain all that was going on with swelling and my other concerns. The conversation ended with him telling me Ill be notified as to when I come back and see about having a MRI and seeing the Doctor and he so much as turned his back and briskly walked out of the room and leaved .Its been 5 days Ive heard nothing from them so I just called theyre office they have no answers on my records as to when if ever Im suppose to return ?

Unfortunately, most people write only when they have a complaint. Ive seen this group of physicians since well before it became Westsound Orthopedic. In fact, back when it was Drs. Larry Gorman and Larry Iversen in the late 70s. Thats a lot of visits for different issues (mostly athletic injuries) ranging from knee to shoulder to lower back problems. I can say unequivocally that the service and treatment throughout the course of 38 years has been superb. Ive referred many high school athletes to this organization and they and their parents have been very satisfied, as well.

Except for having to wait a while, my experience at West Sound was as I expected it to be. When I go to a doctor I know to ask questions and my questions will be answered. Mr. Muir and his staff was professional, caring and informative. This is a very forward-thinking practice - photos, lots of information required by the patient to reduce mistakes, etc. I especially like the idea of calling the areas "pods" - futuristic? Highly recommended.

Wrong diagnosis made by PA without MRI. The orthopod I saw who was highly recommended did not voluntarily give thorough explanation and when I tried to get him to give me some idea of what was wrong and why it was like "pulling teeth". Very cold and uncommunicative. Saw another doctor there (female) and shes fine - much much better than the so-called stellar doctor. .

Took my daughter to the so called "Urgent Care" and they were buried. Made a 2 PM appointment and it has now been a 45 minute wait and 1 hour and 15 minutes until the whole place closes for the day. The Franciscans ruin every business they touch. This used to be a well oiled machine, with some nice amenities but its not worth the travel time or this hassle.

I was very surprised by a negative review for Westsound Orthopaedics listed here. We had great care from Dr. Watter and his staff when we needed him for removal of ankle hardware.

Every time we come the doctor is double booked and we have to wait over an hour. They understand its a problem and have made no effort to correct it
