Dr. Dallin Rice and his staff are amazing! They actually care about your eye and overall health. They take the time to answer questions and provide answers to and reassurance about any concerns you might have. I went to a nationwide chain optical store previously and had a bad experience with being rushed through my appointment and not given any time to ask questions, nor even informed about my childrens prescriptions and the changes that had occurred in their eyes. My experienced at Hidden Valley Eyecare was the polar opposite! All of my and my childrens questions were answered, we were treated kindly and with respect, and were given plenty of time for our appointment and didnt feel pressed for time at all. Dr. Rice even found an issue with my husbands eyes and referred him to an ophthalmologist for further testing. This turned out to be a relief later. I have been a patient of Dr. Brad Rice for 14 or 15 years. I went to him after having a bad experience with my previous doctor when I was having problems with my contacts. Instead of making me feel like an idiot, like my previous doc did, Dr. Rice found out what my problem was and worked with me until we found a resolution. Dr. Rice really cares about his patients and wants whats best for their eyes and their all around health. His staff is also the best - very friendly and very helpful. Ill be sticking with Hidden Valley Eye Care for as long as theyre around!!

I found that the staff here are all very friendly and helpful. They made using my insurance easy, and I did not find that they were any more expensive than other places I have been to. This is the first optometrist I have seen that has taken time to educate me on contact lenses, solution, and general eye care, and he did this without being condescending. They had a good selection of frames, and the nice lady helping me picked out great frames for my face. I was very impressed by their professionalism and knowledge.

Dr. Dallin Rice is outstanding!! Most frames are a bit too pricey since I like to have 2 pairs and pay for my two sons as well, but I have had good luck taking my perscription elsewhere. I have liked Michael Kors frames better then most lately and they are not carried here. Regardless of frame prices, Dr. Dallin Rice is far above any other Optometrist we have ever been to and I hear his brother is excellent also. I highly recommend them wether you buy glasses there or not. They do price match with 1800Contacts.

Amazing facilities, wonderful doctors. The staff is friendly and helpful, and their selection of eyewear is great. They have very impressive technology and my exams are always very thorough. When I decided I wanted Lasik, they walked me through the process, including getting me into the best surgeon in the country. Dr. Rice did all my follow-up care and was amazing. He remembers me every time, even if its been months since my last visit. I highly recommend this eye doctor.

The staff is helpful, professional and courteous each time I communicate with them. I appreciate the knowledge and information Dr. Rice provides at appointments. Cant say enough nice things about Dr. Brad Rice and his team at HVE! My son has been seeing him since her first got contacts in the 4th grade, hes now a freshman in HS. The time the team has taken with him in getting him through this process has been so helpful to me as his mom. I see Dr. Brad too and love him! They even call me when they have a cancellation making it super easy for me to get in, who does that?! Highly recommend!

Dr Bradley Rice was great, he took a lot of time with me. Christine was an excellent help in finding a pair of glasses I liked and was patient while I decided. They were able to get me in and out fast without any waiting. Great selection of frames as well!

They close at 1pm on Saturday. What!? We drove all the way from Kaysville for my grandma because she was told by a friend how great the store is but they close at 1pm. That is way too early on a Saturday to close. We didnt make it by 40 minutes. :(

Ive enjoyed my experience 100%! Ive had eye issues since I was little and didnt discover what was wrong with them until I finally went to Dr, Rice. The staff is amazing as well! They continuously make sure my glasses are working for me.
