I have had glasses or contacts from the time I was 18 months old. so over 23 years. you could say I have been to the eye doctor plenty of times. None of which have EVER been as BAD as this. The first check up went good. But after that it went down hill fast. I have a difficult eye so i when they ordered in my trials i waited over a month to get them. no big deal its happened before. but this time i had no communication. i had to keep calling to see if they had come in yet but it was like they lost my file and had to hunt it down to see what they ordered.even when they found it they were unsure it was right. Once they finally came in they charged me another $75 for a "contact exam fee" above my insurance co-pay not to mention they wanted me to come back for a second inspection even though they felt good and he said " they are a perfect fit on your eye" (probably so they could charge me again). Now here is where things get really get bad. Now that they want my money ( a lot of it because my contacts are over $300 for a 6 month supply) they are very good at communicating. so much so that i began getting calls on saturday mornings asking when i was coming back in to place my order. and when i told them i can get them cheaper at Castco the Doctor was very rude and hung up! Only to call back a few minutes later saying that Castco didnt have them and that i had to get them from him. Now i was just annoyed so i told him that i was not wanting to be rude but that i was not pleased with the care i got and that i would take my business else where. He lost it. he began yelling over the phone telling me to " Be rude, come on be rude what did i do wrong" So i began to be rude (or just honest) about how My mom went to them a few weeks before i did, and she was told that they have a "new laser so you no longer have to have your eyes dilated. but it is another $25 fee" my mom being a hard working Woman and needing to get back to work thought that was worth the money. well about a month later. (no lie a month later) she got a call saying that the "picture from her eye didnt turn out and she needed to come back in to dilate her eyes" Do you think she got her $25 back? NOPE. I then tell him that he charged way more then any other eye Doctor for a contact eye exam that is not covered by ANY insurance and ect. After i let him have if for a few minutes about how i felt wronged and that i felt more pressured to "BUY" from them then a used car salesmen. He had nothing to respond other then to yell goodbye and hung up! so NO i will NEVER GO back and i advise you not to either. They cared more about my money then helping me see better!

I have been a patient here for over 30 years and I have had nothing but wonderful experiences. I have a surgically repaired eye that I am always over cautious when i have issues with it. Yesterday I got something in it and could not wash it out. I called in to Dr. Hooley and she was off but arranged to meet me and take a look. She took time out of her day to make sure I was at 100%. In this day and age of people rushing you through and out the door , they are a refreshing change of pace. I would highly recommend anyone to them.

Emergency care is above and beyond! I had an eye injury with intense pain, (over 20% of my cornea was scratched off, which I didnt realize before going in) and Dr. Hooley was very accommodating and told me to come in, even on a Sunday afternoon, so she could help me! Continued with follow-up visits until my eye was repaired. Both doctors Hooton and Hooley are very personable, caring and helpful.

Caring front office staff. Drs are patient and take the time to make sure you understand your eye care and what you need. I am especially amazed at how great they are with my children and providing excellent care for them. I love the sunglasses and many great frame options available in their office.

I have been going to Dr. Hooton for almost 20 years. His staff is wonderful and they have always treated me great. My son now sees Dr. Hooley and she is just as wonderful. I highly recommend them both.
