Found this place through my insurance provider website and saw they had great reviews. Decided to give them a try and about a week before my appointment they called and said they "couldnt find our insurance information." I have free vision insurance attached to my health insurance plan through my job as a little bonus and my husband has actual paid-for vision insurance. I gave them information for both. Obviously his is better since his is paid for. I need an update prescription so I decided to use them anyway and pay what I had to. I made an appointment for my husband as well for 2 weeks after my appointment and when I got to my appointment again they told me they "couldnt find our insurance." I told them Ill work it out on Monday and send them the info because I know the insurance is pulling out of his paycheck. Now its Monday 8/21 and I sent a copy of his insurance card. This is when they decide to tell me they pulled it up, saw there are 2 people covered (my husband and myself) but they dont take that insurance. So basically they got me in there saying they take it but cant find us and then after I do all the research when they have access to more resources they admit they see it but arent contracted with our insurance. Could have saved me all that time and gone to a contracted vision center where I would have had better coverage! I have always gone to Val Vista Vision and saw what good customer service was for an eye center. The front office staff here makes you do the work and then when you ask them to check costs/insurances act like its something theyve never been requested to do before. Besides that the doctor was very nice 2 stars for her.

Dr. Simon did a pretty good job. She answered my questions, but seemed a bit rushed. I have seen this before at other practices. But, Jared was amazing in teaching me about the different frames/lens options. He took his time, was not in a rush. He wasnt trying to push the sale hard even though he was aware that Ive been looking at ordering from a website instead of their store. He probably spent 45 min - 1 hr with me. Really appreciate him. Also, I liked that I was able to use their new machine that took a pic of my eye, rather than the numbing/dilation method where they actually put that thing in your eye :)

I called Eye Concepts about 6:40 on a Tuesday evening with something in my eye that had bothered me for several days. Brittany answered the phone and let me know that they were available to see me, so I hurried over before they closed. Dr. Karen Simons quickly found the small particle embedded in my cornea and painlessly removed it. I was elated! The procedure was not only quick, it was affordable. I HIGHLY recommend Eye Concepts Vision Center. The staff is both caring and professional.

This place is great! I love that they make it easy with being able to book appts. online and having updated technology to check the health of your eyes, down to the hottest frame styles at reasonable prices. Not to mention Dr. Simon is nice and takes her time, and Jared is so helpful in selecting a frame and lens to your needs. I have been taking my whole family here for years and my kiddos love them too! I highly recommend Eye Concepts for your eye care needs!

I havent seen an optometrist in about 20 years. My vision was blurry and I was having severe migraines. Dr.Simon was amazing. She went above and beyond in explaining everything that was done and did detailed scans of my eyes. I needed glasses and worked with a wonderful lady who showed my every pair of glasses and helped me decide on a pair. If you need to see an optometrist this is the place to go. Great location. Clean office. Friendly staff. This was my first appointment with Dr. Simon. She is professional, knowledgeable and seemed genuinely interested in my eye health and having the proper prescription for my glasses. Prices are very reasonable too! Would highly recommend Dr. Simon.
