After posting a request for a recommended eye Dr., on Facebook. I had several friends recommend Pickerington Eye Care Center. And now I will do the same ;) I had a very good experience there. I thought the front staff was friendly and professional to me and my daughter. (I did not see ANY rudeness like the previous reviewer). The girl who did the testing before the eye exam was very nice,knowlegable, and engaged my daughter (8 y/o) the whole time. We were taken back for our exams at the scheduled time. (no waiting). I like the small town feel to the office, and staff. (Unlike walmart, where they kept losing my Rx, and called me several different times to come in, when my contacts were NOT in...but that is another story). Dr. Tracy actually caught something in my daughters eyes, that other eye doctors had overlooked. She had been having blurry vision at school, and through a detailed (and lengthy exam) he determined it was NOT her actual vision that was a problem, but the strength/ movement of her eyes. News to me!! No wonder previous glasses were not working. Dr. Tracy set us up on a vision therapy program, and things are getting a little better for her. PS. To my surprise the cost for my contacts was actually LOWER than what Walmart quoted me! I will definitely be coming back.

Horrible. No ownership of issue. No customer service. Very high prices. I only wanted to talk prices over the phone for glasses after optometrist appointment with another optometrist. After suggesting I come in so they can see and find out what type of lenses I have and give an accurate estimate. They still could not estimate a price for me over I arrived. They indicated that even though the insurance showed coverage amounts they could not give me an estimate until i called my last eye doctor and have them remove the estimate authorization and let then put through an authorization. Said they cant help me unless i do that first. the frame and lens specialist did not take ownership or seem to care about my needs or wants at all. Just wanted me too make Dr appt with a Dr in their office. Insisted that was the only way to move forward.

Dr. Storm is great however, my experience with staff has not been as impressive. One of the technicians is always very rude and unfriendly. The last time my husband went in to purchase glasses he was charged for items that should have been billed to insurance even though I called an reminded them before hand. This morning my appointment was scheduled at 8:00 and unfortunately I was running late. I called the office and told them I was going to be approximately 15 minutes late and was told that I would have to reschedule. I understand that the onus is on me for being late however, I thought the staff would have been more compassionate and accommodating. My family and I will more than likely find a new optometrist not because of this mornings incident but because of the overall lack of customer service.

I get my eyes checked @ Pickerington Eye Care once a year. I have not had any problems with their staff OR their doctors that work there. My appointments are always personal & inciteful in regards to what is being examined. It is odd that I see some bad reviews on this forum, because they seem to do VERY GOOD business. I see Dr Ryen, & the only problem I have with him is that he has a Penn State undergrad diploma in his exam room.More than not, if someone feels they are being overcharged, they should either understand their insurance coverage OR research pricing on materials. I have not had any problems with their billing department.Overall, I would give Pickerington Eye Care an A.

I consulted with Pickerington Eyecare about LASIK surgery. They took their time with me and were very informative. I decided to have the surgery and go through them for the pre- and post-op appointments. The doctors are experienced and knowledgeable about the surgery. They answered all of my questions (and I had a bunch). I was very pleased with office staffs professionalism and service. I had to reschedule a couple appointments after the surgery and they were more than helpful in accommodating me. Overall, I felt very comfortable with my vision in their hands.

My family has received excellent care from the doctors and staff at Pickerington Eyecare. When my son had an issue that I was very concerned about, even though it was not technically an emergency, they were able to fit him in for an exam that day, even though he was not an established patient. Everyone there was great with my children even when they were very young, and they are very family-friendly. I have always been pleased with the care and service I have received there.

I am a long time patient of Dr. Tracy. My ageing eyes are giving me problems, and having macular degeneration starting isnt helping. I walked in today with some issues and was immediately helped by the knowing staff, and seen by Dr. Tracy who was most helpful with my issues. Unfortunately, not much can be done for macular degeneration, but I came away assured that all that could be done was being done. Thank you staff of Pickering ton Eye Care.

I was looking for a new office to take care of my vision needs. I went through my insurance page for offices that were close to me. After googling reviews from each, I decided to go with Pickerington Eye Care due to the high ratings. I was not steered wrong with setting up an appointment. I was surprised by how easy they made the whole process. The staff have made a great first impression, and I will be returning for future vision care.

The physicians and staff are extremely personable and professional. You can tell they really do care about their patients and providing a truly positive experience. I also love the wide selection of eyewear options they have. They have something for everyone...regardless of your personal style. Pickerington Eyecare has one of the friendliest and most professional staffs I have encountered in a medical practice. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes and I have the utmost confidence in Dr. Ryen. Even though Pickerington Eyecare is no longer "in network" with my provider, I am willing to pay extra for the excellent service and care.
