To whom this may concern, I left my house in my electric wheelchair at 3 AM December 21 coming to Huntington Park community Hospital. Upon arriving I signaled for the nurse to let me in and was ignored but after some yelling I was able to get the guards attention and he let me in. The shift that was working that night was incredibly slow and incredibly insulting. I was the only one in the room and yet two other people came in and they were seen first. When I did talk to the nurse and I tried to explain why my chest hurt she ordered a EKG which I did not need true my chest was hurting but my rib cage due to a prior CPR that was done on me. About 10 days ago I was admitted into California hospital and told I had pneumonia while in the ER I had respiratory failure and was given CPR I tried to explain this to your staff that the reason I was having chest pain was from the cracked ribs that I had from the CPR. I was then taken back to the emergency room where some nurse asked what are we going to do with Mr. Gray out front and someone else said he sitting right there. The doctor ordered a EKG I told him I did not need a EKG I told him I had just been released recently from white Memorial Hospital where Id had a heart cath performed in my heart was great no blockage whatsoever. The other of the staff nurses started to laugh. It was humiliating and I told him forget it Ill never come back here and I left. Its really bad for your hospital I went on yelp and searched your hospital to find a 95% bad review rate is pretty bad for a hospital. Id been there during other shifts and was treated very well. Twice Ive been there on third shift and was treated badly. The first time was a Tuesday when we were having a very bad rain storm. It was third shift and the nurse has security put me outside with a bus token after I was treated and Im an oxygen dependent person. I have an oxygen concentrator at home and Im on 2 L. I told her this and she still put me out. I made it two blocks and begged someone to call 911 when the applets got there my oxygen level was 72%. I was taken back to your hospital but the shift had changed and was treated with respect and helped and sent home in your van. Sincerely Ronald Gray

Since we got there the RN had horrible manners! And never brought water and a pillow for my mom that we asked him to bring several times. My mom was admitted. Inside I was not able to talk to the doctor he would always be busy. They discharged my mom and they didnt prescribed her any medication. On the discharged document they didnt put what the result of the cardiogram or CT scan was, so the primary doctor had to request it, Which at the end I had to go pick them up myself to speed up the process. Three days later my mom is having the same symptoms. Its the responsibility of the hospital to educate you and provide detailed information on what to do and what medication to take. Also the front desk lady was very rude. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE

My mother got here at 3 pm referred by her primary doctor for a possible heart attack. She registered through the ER. She was finally seen at 8 pm, some x-rays were taken and some blood drawn. Two hours later no lab results or follow up. While we were waiting a female nurse was walking back and forth from station to station complaining about not having time to take her break. During the time we were there she helped nobody. She barely touched her keyboard, she never picked a pencil or pen to write, she just walked about complaining. There were not enough beds for the people coming here for help. This place is understaffed, over crowded and dirty. I will never come back here again.

My mom was having an allergic reaction and it took them over an hour to get her ducking Benadryl. I almost walked across the street to the cvs to pick it up myself. in addition, my mom was there for2 weeks. they lost her clothes and had to go home with 2 hospital gowns wrapped around her. The medications they gave us werent properly written out so when i took them to my local pharmacy, they called to get authorization. they told them they had no record of her every being there. this place is beyond disorganized. none of the nurses could ever find each other and put patients off on each other so no one ever really took responsibility of a patient. theyre overworked and understaffed.

Worst hospital. I came here because of a Bicycle vs Car collision. A female patient arrived minutes after I was admitted and seemed to have symptoms of overdose. Sure enough she was. How do I know? All hospital staff were talking about how stupid the patient was and mentioned her full name out load. I wasnt given treatment either. I was on a stretcher for more than 30 minutes until my back started hurting that I called a nurse to get me out of it. I then refused to be treated, signed papers and left. I was treated at my hospital Kaiser Permanente. I wouldnt want to be in a hospital where the staff looks down on me

By far the WORST hospital in the fucken world.!! My mom is epileptic and had has about 9 seizures and the nurses have done nothing.!! I run out and tell them she is seizing and they take there time as if it werent an emergency. If you have an emergency please do not come here, not only is there service crappy but on top of that the nurses are rude. When I ask for them to care for my mom all they do is roll there eyes and tell me she isnt the only patient, super unprofessional. It is beyond me why this place is even still open. I gave it one star because i couldnt give it any less.

WORST HOSPITAL EVER!!! My mother had laparoscopic cholecystectomy (removal of gallbladder). The so called "surgeon" Dr Mehrizi punctured her small intestine, she became septic and almost died!!! Luckily she was transferred to Keck USC (thank God). Two years later she is still suffering consequences due to this incident. If you or anyone you know and love are ever referred here, ask your insurance to be referred elsewhere! Your life will be at jeopardy! Do not come here for any reason! There are plenty of other hospitals nearby, go anywhere but here. Good luck.
