Dear Dr. Adam Fisher, Karen, & Chantey, Thank you for the kind of dental care and treatment one could only be grateful for. Having that gratitude, Id like to share my thoughts about each of you below: Dr. Adam Fisher: A young, bright, and skillfully talented oral surgeon who loves with passion what he does with glee. With grace and seeming ease, he tackles very difficult dental procedures that some in the field would cringe at the thought to tackle. He has that simple, down to earth boy next door (with his faithful dog) look, but is a towering, extraordinary professional hero at work to be envied and admired. Karen: As with fine wine, nineteen years of dedicated dental experiences has made this loving, caring, compassionate soul, better and better with age. As a patient, it was truly-truly comforting having her by my side, as Im sure the dentists whom she has worked with felt as well. Chantey: Coming from a family of teachers, principals, and educators she too, strongly is involved with helping and caring for others, albeit in the dental field. Wouldnt it be great if all families produced such loving, productive souls that dedicated their lives in helping others to get better? TLC is blessed to have employed this team and I as their patient, have been blessed to have been under their dental care. Richard E

The people are nice and seem pretty knowledgeable. The biggest issue though, they throw all kinds of odd things in there. If you dont cut them off, they will schedule you to death for checkups and clean ups. I went in for a cleaning walked out spending $450 dollars. The filling they did actually was some soft product and fell out. I rescheduled to have it fixed, but I would actually rather go somewhere else. Everytime I went in they gave me some "irrigation" treatment which "is not covered", of course, and seems to be some liquid sprayed on your teeth for no reason. Ohh and it cost $60 per container, and typical 2 container minimum. Just be careful when you go. Ask for all charges upfront BEFORE they do it, not after. Make sure its all covered by insurance, that way if they change it, they have to eat the cost. They put a bad taste in my mouth. I was new to the area, I am looking for a better place that I can trust.

Horrendous. I was a long-time patient. However, ever since they moved to their newly built and owned, large office across the street, it has become an inefficient, incompetent, factory! All the loyal, multi-year staff from their old staff DID not make the move. You might as well be in a Latin American Dental Office. It seems all the new front staff first language is Spanish and they talk Spanish among themselves so the patients dont necessarily know what they are saying. The dentist I recently had, made a misdiagnosis on my prior visit. I had a second appointment to have the work done. No courtesy and/or professionalism. He could have phoned to see if I wanted the alternate, very expensive procedure, but had me waste my time going in to encounter a capricious Dentist!

I had a totally different experience at TLC than the reviews below. My doctor spent a lot of time with me explaining perio disease and the importance of maintaining a healthy mouth, but I thought that was really important. I think a lot of people just want a "cleaning" and get upset with the "messenger" when things are not as simple as that. Generally I found the prices to be in line with other quality dentists in the area. I also was stopped by Dr. Muckey when I was leaving - he owns the office. He gave me his card and said if I ever have any questions, to call him. Thats good service. I feel bad that these other people didnt like their experience, but I guess complaining is easier than complementing.

I encounter this office which charged me double of what I was advised by my Insurance. I URGE everybody to make sure before any work done in this place call your Insurance and explain what procedure they will do and what codes they will use on you, also your responsability after insurance payment....that is before having ANY work done!, please make sure they are using the right codes,,,,RED FLAG with the billing of this place done by Jenni ., this is a verified client with verified paperwork given by Jenni and a verified complaint coming. A second opinion would be helpful if you can cause they are not as y professional as they look...

I called to get general prices and the secretary gave me misleading sales tactics that ones youre in the chair we determine prices. Misleading or what?? I mentioned I needed a regular cleaning done like I get them done every 6 months and she still couldnt give me a price. Stay away or get a huge bill like I read in the review before me. Thats why they dony give you prices up front so they can get you on the back end. Big red flag if they cant give you a regular price for a general cleaning.

For some reason, I tolerated the abusive overcharges for 2 years before walking out today. This place is a scam. Upselling and overcharging. The May 3 review below is 100% accurate and the "lady" at the front must be paid commissions on all the unncessary overcoding and charging she does. Incredibly rude as well. They also cycle through hygienists because of all scamming and because theyre underpaid (according to the one hygienist who still remained). STAY AWAY. Theyll rob you.

Happy with Sharon the Hygienist and the dentist, Dr. Coutras. Both are knowledgeable, professional, and keep my teeth healthy. My only complaint is that since they moved to the new office, the front desk staff are taking "deposits" prior to scheduling any dental work (ie fillings) with an explanation that it is to purchase supplies. It is a concern to me if a dental office does not have funds to purchase amalgam fillings.

Visits to the Dentist are always a point of some anxiety for me, as I suspect they are for a lot of people. I have loved my experience with TLC Dental. From the front office staff to my dentist, Dr. Helfant, to the hygienists I have had, Diego and Carlos, the quality of care and service has been exemplary and has me more confident in making regular visits to the dentist a part of my self-care regimen. Highly recommend!

I had a major emergency on Saturday. I called them and even though they were not open yet they answered the phone and took me in right away. I loved the service they gave me in a time of major pain . They diagnosed the problem and gave me a solution. I loved every one in that office very professional and caring people.

Carlos is the best Hygienist ever! Very polite, always gentle. Even when he says, "This will hurt a little." Theres no pain. He doesnt make my gums bleed, and theres no spraying all over my face while hes cleaning! He really takes care of his patients. Hes amazing.
