Dr. McWhorter was amazing taking care of Hercule when he had a life-threatening illness. Ill get her in trouble. If she was working (when Hercule came in at 8 am every Saturday for his fluids for over a year), she would take a brief peek at him in the back for free. (We never asked for this extra service or expected it.) The only reason that I know that she checked on Hercule now and then was because, if I called with a problem, she would tell me she had looked Hercule over and when. Her behavior made it so obvious that she loved Hercule like I did. Never have I dealt with a vet so compassionate and loving. Never once did she look at Hercule as a meal ticket, and every time would try to find the most inexpensive way to handle his medical care. The whole staff really went the extra mile and knew us both on a first name basis. Now Archie get the same wonderful care from Dr. McWhorter. Dr. McWhorter never rushes us through vet visits and takes the time to make sure Archie has/will have a happy home by finding solutions to his behavioral issues resulting from his being kept in a cage for long periods of time and being emotionally neglected by the no-kill shelter from which I got him. Dr. McWhorter is the only veterinarian in whom I have complete faith and trust in every suggestion and decision that she recommends.

My biggest fear about moving to a different city was finding a vet I trusted and liked. Im ecstatic that I found CityVet. They were great with my current dog from day one and have been a big help with my most recent adoption from the shelter. Dr. Bryant and Dr. Gessel have been fantastic to interact with and they are truly concerned about the well being of both my dogs. The facility is clean and welcoming and the front desk staff is beyond positive; I almost think theyre on something. A good illustration of their interest in animals would be this: Dr. Bryant had met me once when I was thinking about adopting a dog from the shelter. When I brought him to CityVet she heard my voice in the lobby and came out to meet him. I could tell by her smile and voice she was truly happy for both of us. She wasnt even the vet that did his initial assessment that day. I couldnt have lucked out more with this place.

The most unorganized vet experience. I went into get a medication for my dog and it took them about 20 minutes to find it. The vet techs look like a bunch of chickens with their heads cut off running around not knowing what to do and they were passing around and or babysitting a child while in the middle of a busy Tuesday workday. I felt extremely disrespected and very low on their priority list due to babysitting being at the top of their priority list. I normally frequent the Addison location and they have their stuff together. They are extremely respect full of others time and all around I have always had a great experience at that location. Extremely disappointed in this location and I will be sure to look for a vet elsewhere and I encourage others to do the same.

I took my cat to Dr.Bryant with hesitation for a urinary bladder infection. She explained everything in deep detail. I was limited on money and she explained the available cat care plan. After an extensive exam. I walked out with a feeling of wellbeing and still money in my pocket. The entire staff is top notch. They are truly compassionate and professional. I cant imagine a better vet. I was referred by a friend, and we both were compensated. Unbelievable! I am a true believer and my cat is completely healthy and happy. Sincerely, a City Vet Fan

I have been to several vets in Dallas, and Dr. Effie is by far the best. She has great bedside manner, she is very knowledgeable, and she really cares about animals. She saved my great danes life when she had pancreatitis when other vets just prescribed her antacids and sent us home. She is now treating my doggie for lymphoma. My great dane is in remission and thanks to Dr. Effie and the staff at the oaklawn location, we get to spend more quality time together. I will never go anywhere else while I am in Dallas.

People there are all considerate and attentive. Prices are reasonable too. I especially have to give props to my dogs latest regular doc... Dr. Neese. Shes absolutely wonderful with him & straightforward forward with diagnoses. We recently moved away and I had a question so I emailed her. She called me that day to discuss and was concerned about my dogs health, even asking questions. She knew we moved & still took the time out. Awesome. Thank you!

Theyre always so nice and Dr. Neese is the best! Shell actually give you honest answers to your questions, even if it means saying "oh thats nothing to worry about, dont spend your money on a test." She seems to genuinely care about my dogs and their well being. She was also the only vet out of three that I went to that was able to correctly diagnose and cure my dogs skin allergies. I will follow Dr. Neese wherever she goes!

We love this place, we have had to take our cat here due to a weird illness, they ran tests and found no serious issues so recommended a second visit just to be sure... No issues found at second visit, so Dr didnt charge us for the second checkup. What?? I believe I found an honest vet that not only takes the time to do things right but cares about your pet. Theyve won me over and will take my pets there in the future!

Vet tech didnt read my dogs file before seeing her, tried to get me pay for an annual when she was only due for 6 months vacs. When I pointed it out, the response was dismissive of "Oh yea, I guess thats right." I dont feel that they were listening to me or paying attention. Ive heard similar lack of attention to detail stories from friends that have brought their dog there. Will probably be switching vets.

Dr. Gussell is so awesome!!! every time I bring In Kody she is so welcoming and knows everything about kody right from the get go before she even looks at his chart, that is pretty amazing and shows me she really cares about my miniature Australian Sheppard. She pets him as soon as she sees him and gives him a big hug. Thank you Doc for always making our visits so pleasant.

Highly Recommended! Dr. Effie is so wonderful with my rabbit. I live in Frisco and drive all the way to Dallas just for the service at this clinic. She makes sure to call me and keep me informed on everything that is going on with him when he has to go under for a procedure. The front office staff is SO nice, and they know me by name. Will always use this vet for my rabbit.

they are very nice, and seem very caring and knowledgeable, they follow up when things go wrong. I took my cat to clean her teeth and they perforated her trachea. I panic because she inflated (was full of air bubbles under her skin). she did fine it healed fast, since it seems that that it is not a big problem... but I am not sure if I will trust them any more.
