My family and I went to this vet for close to 7 years. We absolutely loved the doctors and all of the staff here. They were the best and absolutely adored our four fur-babies. We love our animals and were willing to spend the extra money to ensure top quality care. We originally had Dr. Manly for our vet and absolutely adored her. She unfortunately moved back to Michigan but we still continued to stay there. Well something changed as soon as she left. The care provided was no longer top notch and my family and I felt that our dogs were just viewed as money bags. The vet that took over care for our dogs didnt really seem like she even knew what she was talking about and didnt even know much about pomeranians (two out of the four we have are poms). What I also didnt like was when they did the exam and vaccinations, they did it behind closed doors in the back. I found that to be weird. I, for one, want to see what the vets and vet techs are doing to our dogs. Our 15 year old bichon frise, Scooby, suffered an ulcer to the eye and while we had it under control with eye drops...when we dropped him off for boarding, he was fine. When we picked him up, his eye had completely perforated and he needed immediate emergency surgery and the eye ended up being unable to save. We went to a specialist for that. We called them and explained what was going on and they refused to admit anything was wrong or that it happened in their care. We understand mistakes happen and caring for a lot of dogs is a big undertaking. We understand that you cant keep watch over our dogs every minute they are there but at least have the decency to admit your faults. Since they didnt admit their faults and were costing us a boatload of money, my family and I had had enough and we have sinced moved to a different vet office with incredibly reasonable prices and boarding facility where we are much, much happier and our dogs dont come back to us sick or injured when we pick then up.

Where do I even begin? Lets start with their prices, so very high and not worth the money. Now money isnt a issue but I want great service and everything for the money I pay. This place is a rip off!!! Got a new puppy and took him in for some shots a couple days ago and he was happy when I took him in but when they gave him back he was lethargic and in pain. Now Ive done this line of work in the past and the lethargy is normal but not the pain and certainly not the swollen arm my puppy had. I mean what the hell did these idiots do? So I called and took him back to vet (mind you spent already a good $200 bucks for shots that should really be less than $100) just for them to tell me that "maybe he had a reaction " to the shots.... now there are 2 things that pissed me the f#$k off. Number 1 was these geniuses already gave my puppy shots before... they gave the OKAY and shots the day i adopted him from Petland in waterford (another side note these guys suck so bad that the adoption agency is no longer doing business with these idiots because of customer complaints and how crappy they are). So back to my experience ....So they should know if he has allergies right????? And Number 2 was these snakes charged $65.00 to give him steroids which i know helps with the inflammation but im thinking to myself why am i paying for their incompetence?? I tryed to have a dialog with the kennel attendant but she was rude and very pushy to the point that she didnt let me explain properly. But thats how this place is, they get you in and take all your money and push you out. This place is horrible and I wont rest until I spread the word of this hellhole on lake underhill to everyone I know and then some to NOT go there. They make your pets worse and even if you pay them, they still F $#ck it up so you come back and spend more. All I can say is if my puppy doesnt get better then im coming back but with my lawyers.

My kitten Storm who was 5 months old was suddenly behaving very strangely. She would whimper and put her hind legs in the air and spray everywhere...yea I have never seen a cat in heat before obviously because when my boyfriend saw this he freaked out because she wouldnt walk around and it seemed like she was in pain. I looked up every vet in the area and of course they were all closed because it was Sunday, but EOAH was open and they told us to come in. We got there and the doctor asked us if she had been spayed, no, what were her symptons? Raising legs in the air and meowing, plus spraying.....ANY BASIC VET would know that that is a sign of being in heat I found this out AFTER I told my parents that i had to pay $300 for an Xray and medication and was told that she was doing this because of GROWTH PLATES. I was standing there the whole time crying my eyes out because I really thought something was wrong with my cat. My boyfriend called a week later to complain about the service and rip off, they never called him back but called my cell which had died and I had gotten a new one, when I called and left a voicemail for KATIE DICKINSON she never called me back. I worked two jobs and that $300 came from both of my paychecks, I was still in Collage at the time and I think its disgusting how this company just took advantage of us.

We first brought one of our little dogs to East Orlando 3 years ago when the poor little guy couldnt breathe. (The staff at our previous vets office told me on a Saturday morning that I would have to wait until Monday to see my vet - even though it was an emergency situation and their office was open for several more hours that day.) We have never regretted the move to East Orlando. They are open 7 days a week, which is a huge comfort when you have chronically ill pets. They have a very friendly, competent and caring staff. And even more importantly, they have great vets! Weve seen 3 of the vets over the years and they have always provided expert care to all of our animals. Our primary vet is Dr. Yaicha Peters, a wonderful veterinarian who truly adores the animals she treats. Her enthusiasm and willingness to try different protocols to increase the quality of life in our elderly dogs has been wonderful. And her empathy has been so appreciated when things turned life threatening. I highly recommend Dr. Peters and East Orlando Animal Hospital where your pet will be treated like the family member he or she is.

Worst experience with Dr. Costas and her lack of compassion and empathy. We had to make the hardest decision to put our loving faithful companion down today and she made this horrible day even worse! The first thing she did was interrogate us and question why we waited so long to bring our dog into the vet, and was very judgemental as if we knew the extent to his medical issue. She then mentioned that since it was close to closing time, she wouldnt be able to do much other than euthanize or refer to ER, as if her time couldnt be wasted with our pets well being. The worst part was after the euthenasia, our dog started bleeding from his nose, which she mentioned was not normal, and instead of discarding the blood filled towels, she left the room for all of us to see the traumatic scene of a bloody pool and towels next to him. Finally, we ended up having to stay behind to correct a billing error due to their carelessness. We should have taken the drive to Dr Phillips since they were the only other hospital open on Sunday and avoided this terrible experience at the negligent hands of Dr Costas.
