I came to this place after my cat got treatment from a different veterinary. unfortunately, she lost a lot of weight, and the right cause wasnt found by the former vet. At Convay Veterinary they immediately found out that the cat had liver failure, so they gave me some medication and all other necessities for her treatment. But they also warned me that if it doesnt help there are dozens of reasons for the complications. but only with blood work and other costly tests could be found out for sure. They called in every 2nd day to see how Mercedes was doing. And the also asked a outside spezialist, to confirm on her condition. Unfortunately it came out that it was a untreatable viral infection. And because of her decline, I had to let her go. Even at this point the doctor and his team was helpful, they explained me how everything will happen and gave me the chance to be there. Thank you for your help, even with this sad end. I know next time I will be in need for a veterinarian, Ill be knocking at your door.

I love this place! They have taken such good care of our American bulldog! We got him from a shelter as a rescue and he was extremely sick, we had went to an emergency vet the night before someone recommended Dr. Porter to us and they got us right in and added more antibiotics because what we were given wasn’t strong enough and he explained everything from what to expect the next couple days and what our options were about surgery and what he wanted to try to do to avoid it. He is an amazing doctor! Our puppy is feeling much better, eating and acting like his playful self again! I would recommend anyone to them! We are about 45 mins away from the office but it is well worth the drive to see someone that knows what they are doing and truly cares about animals and that goes for everyone that works in the office. They are all very knowledgeable and truly care.

They literally save my poodles life. I went out of town for business. I came back and he wouldnt move or stand up. I thought he had a stroke or something. But he had Addisons Disease and we didnt know. He just went off a cliff while I was gone and just started to decline. It was horrifying and fast. I didnt know what was wrong.They correctly diagnosed him immediately and got him the correct treatment. They were very kind. They had to keep him on IV but let me visit him. They are his new vet! They are in the medium to high price range, but the care is top-notch and very good! You can trust them to do what your pet needs and to care.

I took my dog here today for the first time. As soon as I walked in I felt very comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and professional. When Dr. Porter saw my dog, he took the time to pet and rub her so that she would feel more comfortable too. Dr. Porter finished my dogs exam and thoroughly explained what needed to be done and asked if I had any questions. I believe that Dr. Porter and his staff truly cares for the animals and the parents. I will recommend Conway Veterinary Hospital to anyone that is looking for the best place to take their pets.

Three visits to this clinic, one star for each, and we are looking at switching. Each time, we have called and made an appointment, confirmed verbally, and arrived on the day to find we arent on their schedule. Everyone is polite and knowledgeable- but if they cant get scheduling right, its time to move on. Im tired of being "worked in." Perhaps in the future they will implement an email confirmation system making it impossible to forget to record our appointment.

Dr. Porter and staff are great! Im honored that as a business owner of a doggy boarding and day care facility, they are always there to help if I need any services for my guests. We do not need them frequently... thats a good thing in my business :) but I know I can count on friendly, professional service when I do need it! I went to several vets offices when looking for a vet to prescribe medicine to my seahorse who couldnt leave his tank to be seen. I knew exactly what was wrong and what medicine I needed to help him. All other vets denied me care when I went to Conway they told me to take a video of him and come back in an hour after they did their research. I was in and out of there in 30 w my script. So thankful for their help. He saved my seahorse.

Dr. Porter is the best vet weve found in Orlando, after being to probably a half-dozen others. He is very kind, warm, and informative. He also listens very closely and is very willing to help. Their prices seem to be reasonable, if not a tad bit on the high side, but him and his team will actually be able to treat your pet properly, rather than give a bunch of improper diagnoses. Highly recommended.

If I could give Dr. Porter and his staff 6 stars, I would. I left my initial vet because the prices were outrageous. When I switched to Conway I was pleasantly surprised by how accommodating they were and the prices are well within reasonable. Dr. Porter is kind and compassionate and so, so helpful.
