We have entrusted Dr. Ewing and her staff with the care of our animals since Collier Hills Animal Hospital opened in 2008. Dr. Ewing is knowledgeable, skillful, compassionate, caring and reasonable and has gone above and beyond in providing excellent care for our pets. When our beloved 15 year old lab, Murphy, was diagnosed with terminal bone cancer, Dr. Ewing spent close to an hour going over the X-rays with our then 10 and 8 year old sons explaining the condition and answering all of their questions. When the drug manufacturer discontinued the arthritis medication for our 17 year old lab, Max (and he could not be switched to a new medication easily), Dr. Ewing spent her Saturday tracking down samples all over town so she would have a stockpile of the medication for him. I could go on and on with examples of her excellent care. She truly loves and cares about animals and we cannot recommend her highly enough.

I cannot rave about this animal hospital enough. Dr. Ewing and her team are incredible, personable, and treat your animal as if they were their own babies. I have been coming here about a year from a different vet and was so disappointed with my previous vets treatment and service. Immediately I felt at ease and never felt as though this office was over charging or over-diagnosing me. I took my dog, Poppy in yesterday to be spayed, have a hernia removed, AND have 6 teeth extracted and was insanely nervous. Dr. Shannon dried my tears and not only assured me that Poppy would be okay, but her incredible front desk team called me every step of the way at work to keep me posted on how she was doing. When I picked her up she was doing so well, and her team informed me of the whole process and loved on my girl so well. Not to mention, this place is excellent value for money, and they genuinely care-you cant beat that!

The most incredible staff all around. Everyone in there treats my dog like a king. And he loves going to the vet because of all the special TLC that he gets each time. It makes such a difference to be on a first-name basis with your vet. I cant say enough about Shannon and how much her whole team genuinely cares about each visit and my dogs overall health. The team had to help me put down my previous dog when he went into kidney failure and they handled everything so well - for me and for him. My current dog, Walter, also got very sick when I first got him and I was so glad to have them helping him to get well. I know Ive been spoiled to work with them, so if I ever move or need to seek a new vet team, my standards will be very high.

When I adopted my rescue furbabies, I knew I needed a great vet for them. I was lucky enough to live near Collier Hills Animal Hospital, and as soon as I came in for their first baby checkup visit, I knew Id found the perfect spot. Everyone on staff is attentive and loves animals - my three get greeted as enthusiastically as I am (sometimes more - they are cuter). Dr. Ewing is amazing - I cant say enough good things. Anyone can be good at their job, but she goes above and beyond & is caring and sympathetic to the needs of every animal that comes through the door. Ive moved now, and am farther away from Collier Hills, but Im seriously considering sticking with them - theyre just that great!

I first went chose to go to Collier Hills Animal Hospital because its very convenient to my apartment. Of course I wanted the best care for my cat, and they delivered with friendly, professional, and very informational services that meet the regular needs of an adult cat. When we adopted a puppy, they were great at helping us understand the process of vaccinations, feeding, and general every day care. My dog loves going to see them now. Its like his second family. Even though Ill be moving soon, Ill still plan to use Collier Hills Animal Hospital as my primary veterinarian even if it means driving a bit further. Dr. Ewing and the entire staff are great.

Collier Animal Hospital is by far the best vet clinic in the Metro Atlanta area. We drive from Decatur, GA, because Dr. Ewing and her staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. Weve been clients of Dr. Ewings since before she opened Collier Animal Hospital. She takes the time to explain the options and makes sure we understand costs involved. She has done everything for our pets including wellness exams, teeth cleaning, xrays, microchip, and tumor removal. When she cannot preform the work herself, she sends you to a trusted specialist. Top notch service for our babies.

AMAZING! The most caring staff ever. Its like the show Cheers, everyone there knows your animals name. They always follow up after you have left to make sure your pet is doing well, even if it is after hours. Financially, they never try to talk you into doing more if you dont have to or something can wait. They make every pet comfortable. Dr. Ewing does all of my dogs exams on the floor so he is at ease. We have followed her from Sandy Springs over to Collier and my parents, sister, and friends have all gone to her and love this place. I would never go anywhere else.

We are so thankful to have found Dr. Ewing and Collier Animal Hospital. Appointments happen promptly as scheduled, they are flexible if theres an emergency, and the doctor spends plenty of time with you and will answer all of your questions. Dr. Ewing is so knowledgeable, handles your pets well, involves you in their treatment options, and we have never had a bad experience. They also dont charge you unnecessary fees or for checkups that arent needed like some places. I tell all of my friends to use her. Collier Animal Hospital is what all veterinarians should be.

I can say nothing but wonderful things about Dr. Ewing and Collier Animal Hospital. I would consider myself a little more high-maintenance dog mom and Dr. Ewing has been nothing but understanding in all of my questions and concerns. When we first rescued our dog, Petey, he was sick and didnt seem to be getting better. Dr. Ewing was so helpful in coming up with new things to try when initial treatments were not doing the trick. We are so grateful to have such a wonderful vet looking out for our Pete.

Love them!! When I first adopted my dog I was a wreck thinking he might have something wrong with his back joints and hips. The staff assured me that even if something was wrong with Benny they would find a way to fix it! Every time I go in there I can tell how much they care about my dog and from one dog parent to another it means the world to know that hes in good hands! Ive moved several times and will continue to commute back to Collier to see this vet!
