Watch the clock as you wait for Dr. Favia..... Ive only seen him twice, but in that short amount of time (not including the third visit where I waited over 45 min.) Ive learned that here is one Dr who doesnt have a care in the world how long you have to wait for him. On the most recent visit, I sat in the waiting room and watched people come in, sign in, get called in, (by other Drs) be treated and walk out! Because my most recent visit was scheduled in between my work day, I did my best to schedule plenty of time. (1 1/2hrs) I now know that this still isnt enough time when it comes to seeing this Doc. And while he makes you wait, his nurse does nothing to help the situation. Over my 2 visits (almost 3) Ive found her to be cold, insensitive and uncaring. While I overall liked Dr. Favia professionalism once he finally saw me, its not worth my rise in blood pressure as I sit in the waiting room and watch the clock tick on and on and on and on.... Im on a mission now to find a Doc who values my time and money. Wish me luck!

I had an appointment with Dr. Favia as a new patient. After I arrived at the doctors office, the reception asked me to wait. After waiting for 45 minutes, the nurse didnt call me. I found other patients who came after me were being called inside. I enquired with the reception how long I have to wait. The receptionist went inside and then told me that I will be next. However, they called inside another patient who arrived after me. I again asked the reception (a different lady). She went inside and after sometime came back to tell me that I will have to wait for another half an hour because of an emergency. I cancelled the appointment took back all of my signed documents since I had to go to work. Their behavior looked very unprofessional. They didnt bother to inform me that I will have to wait due to an emergency. Also, I have doubt about this emergency since all the other patients who came after me were called inside inspite of the emergency!!!.

I do not go to the doctor often. I hate waiting and it always seems like the doctors do not have time for you. I went in to see Dr Philip Favia, MD I went in, he was very professional and cautious. At the end of the appointment he apologized for keeping me waiting. He did keep me waiting, but for only 3 minutes. That is unheard of in the medical field. Usually you wait in the waiting room, then go into the examining room and wait some more. In short great experience, great customer service skills. :) Thanks DR. Danny Martin

The receptionists and staff at the front desk are inept. I waited 1 + hours to see my doctor and received absolutely no communication. When I attempted to ask them questions, they were rude. If you intend to do anything else on the day of your appointment, I suggest rethinking it. It was like a trip to the DMV, but worse because I was in pain. Once I got in to see the MD, he was great. Worth the wait??? Hard to say... Will I go back??? Doubtful.

My family has been going to Dr. Favia for eight years now. We absolutely love him. He is caring and thoughtful...and he is great with our kids. The office staff is not so great, though. Weve put up with them only because we like Dr. Favia so much (and Dr. Medhi). We thought it would be better once they became part of Advocate, but it hasnt changed. So, in a nutshell.....GREAT doctor.....not so great front desk staff.

The last reviewer is complaining because the waited an hour? waaaaah. Its a doctors office, deal with it. All I care about from a doctor is that they know what theyre doing. Dr. Favia is great, and hes super friendly. He seems to genuinely care about his patients, and thats really nice. He always spends as much time with me as necessary, and answers all of my questions. Id recommend him to anyone.

This is a very thorough and caring doctor. He takes the time to listen to symptoms. He follows through on small things mentioned during the exam. You dont feel rushed. He is more likely to get to the bottom of things than take a wait and see attitude. He saved my husbands life diagnosing him with kidney cancer when it still was treatable. Cant say enough good things about him!

Lied to me about misplacing my patient files. He hung up on me during a telephone conversation. His staff does not have a clue! I have zero trust or confidence in him as a doctor or person. Find another doctor!!!!
