Dr. Dam always sees me immediately and never overbooks. He has done a lot in his life and it almost seems as if he is not a doctor anymore because of money. My wife and other family members have been told to wait a week to see their doctor even though they were sick. I have called Dr Dam and he has taken them, not even his patients, that day. You simply cannot find a doctor like this anymore. Dr. Dam always follows up personally and even answers his phone from time to time when his staff is busy. Just this morning I called in at 7am and he happened to be in the office and I told him my concerns and he told me to come in. If you call during the day he will often just get on the phone to talk to you directly. Now, many reviewers have posted bad things about him harping on their weight and vices, and he is in your face about this stuff and to the point. But I want my doctor to not bullcrap me and get to the point about the hard things I need to hear, dont you?

He seemed like he knew what he was talking about, but he was very rude. I get that being straight-forward is a good thing, but he was very condescending in the way that he told me what to do with my skin. Not only that, I couldnt understand what he was saying half the time because his talking sounded kind of...slurred? If thats even the word? He just sounded like he was either extremely bored, tired, or just didnt care enough to speak up for me to understand him. Every time I would ask him a question hed just give me a weird, rude response, like I wasnt even allowed to question him. Overall, very rude and I would not recommend this doctor unless youre okay with a short, uncomfortable appointment. Not to mention that his clinic was dirty, old, and in the middle of nowhere. Gave him two stars just because he gave me some good prescriptions, but its not worth it if both his clinic and his attitude is just terrible.

I have had Dr Dam for last 10+ years and he is always willing to fit you in, and you may have to wait a little in the exam room, he takes his time and after the exam he will sit down with you at his desk and discuss his findings. He is an excellent Doctor and I will always recommend him.
