Once again I can not thank Dr.Velano enough. I had a stubborn cracked tooth with throbbing pain (which I hoped for would go away on its own) boy was I wrong. With every breath the pain started shooting throughout my face and I just couldnt take it anymore. I called the office and they were able to see me the same day. I went during my lunch break, all nervous and scared of course Dr.Velano looked at my xrays and said the tooth needs to be taken out. I just wanted the pain to stop so of course I agreed to it right away. He numbed the area, I expected so much pain since I was super nervous and my heart was beating a million miles an hour. I was ready to scream and all... He said I would only feel some little pressure and next thing I know my tooth was out. No stitches needed nothing!!! I was shockeddd how fast he was. He gave me pain meds and advised me to take it easy for a few days. Im still shocked how fast and pain free that was. He really is amazing. Definitely recommend him. Super quick and pain free :D

Im in so much pain and was told 2 weeks ago Id be scheduled to have my wisdom teeth pulled out. I was prescribed medication and was told to take if for 1 week. 2 weeks later I get a phone call from 1st family dental telling me Id need to make another appointment for more X-rays. I ask them why havent they called me a week ago or 2 weeks ago telling me this. They said the doctor is only here once a week. I mean what kind of facility has a doctor come in once a week? Especially for just wisdom teeth ? Come on 1st family get it together! Ill be going elsewhere where Im treated much better then just a pay check!

Had an emergency dental issue on a Sunday, and was desperately trying to find a place that was open. I was contacted by the "Marketing Director" Vicky to go to the Kedzie location at 9am and to mention her name so that I could get in for an appointment. I took an uber, arrived promptly at 9am, and the office was closed. I waited over 30min and tried contacting Vicky multiple times to get in. I wasted over 45$ on an uber there and back with out any apology or response from Vicky. This place is extremely unprofessional. I would not trust them.

do not go here unless you want to deal with a staff that does not listen to your request and judges you. i went here to get some teeth fillings and when i first got an exam the dentist was smiling and making jokes about teeth i needed fix and when i set up my next appointment i requested to have a different dentist so when i went again it was him and they claimed they did not know i wanted a different dentist. its not worth your time or money to deal with an unprofessional staff who judges patients.

This is my second visit to this family dental and I loved it. Everything was as expected. The front staff was very friendly and helping. They took care of me right away and I didnt have to wait. The back section was very clean and the assistant was very friendly and professional. She provided me advice and recommendation. At the end of my visit i was very please and i would really recommend this place to people who are looking to have a good experience with their dental visits.

If I could give zero stars I would, I went in about a month ago with a cracked wisdom tooth took about a hour to be called another hour sitting in the chair waiting for the dentist just to be told they have to call me back once the dentist who works on my type of problem has seen my xrays needless to say these unprofessional people never called me, not one single call, they will never see my family or me again as patients and I will tell everyone I know about how bad they are.

After an exhaustive search for a Dental clinic, not far from my residence and acceptable to my insurance, I found 1st Family Dental as my final choice. Visited first time on 7/25/2017 and after my detailed checkup, I was told that my treatment needs prior approval from my insurance plan. Asked to wait for 3-4 weeks. I am yet to know the worth of the clinic, doctor, and the staff.

1st Family Dental is an outstanding dental office. Their service was fast and efficient. The staff were not just kind but were very professional and knew what they were doing, and knew exactly how they were supposed to treat their patients. The place was very clean and well managed. Dr. Mohammed Pezes has been my primary Doctor for the last two years. I has been one of the best experiences as much as I hate going for a simple cleaning to the dentist. This place and their stuff is very clean and professional. I never have to wait for more than 10 minutes for my appointment. Thank you so much guys. I love this place.

Everybody was so accommodating and professional, from the front desk, dental assistants, managers, and my doctor. I had an appointment with them once a week for a month or so, and my experience every visit was so pleasant. Plus theyre very honest with billing, and reasonable price. I would definitely recommend their services.

Very upset with this place. I made this an appointment at 11am and they switched it to 10am with out letting us know. Very disappointed with this place I guess now I have to triple check when I make appointments with them and very rude customer service at front desk from this one lady that speaks Spanish.

First of all, the receptionist was nice. Then the doctors assistant was very nice. The Doctor was professional, but cordial. The atmosphere was good. I felt very much at ease. Its not easy feeling great when youre going to see a dentist. Just saying. All in all, a big thumbs up.

Terrible service! They tried to perform unnecessary procedures on me just to take my money. I also witnessed another upset costumer arguing with the front desk lady about the terrible service! Dont waste your time or money here!!
