Took me literally 6 months to even get through to talk to anyone. Got referred from our dentist because my 3 year old had 4 teeth that had cavities to be filled. Called every day and left messages for 2 weeks then called at least once a week after that. Went to my dentist for my sons cleaning and his hygienist called and had the same result. Looked up the practice online and found a different number than the one on the referral slips. Got us in 2 weeks after the call. Cappy looking building in the middle of the block in Humboldt Park in Chicago. Women do not go alone, have a guy with you. Parking is rediculous, pay with quarters but the wont give you change at the dentist or the coffee shop next foor. Our appointment was at 9 am, got there 10 minutes early, didnt get called back til 11. The waiting room was packed, no eating or drinking allowed. No wifi. One tiny tv up in the corner. Receptionists are too busy looking busy to talk Todd you. The hygienist looked at my 3 year Olds teeth for two seconds and declared that they would have to pull them. They were great with my son, had toys for him and didnt rush him or me while giving the medicine and and everything. Had to do laughing gas, wouldnt let me stay with him while they administered IV sedative or for the procedure. Told me it would take N hour and 15 minutes so to go ahead and go get food, sent my mom and brother and they came and got me 20 minutes later. He healed great and overall they did do a great job but the waiting area and recptionists are awful. Dont leave until your child is done, be prepared to wait and ask lots of questions. Met a couple in the waiting room that werent told their daughter was going to have teeth pulled until after she was done and then had to come back a few weeks later. They, like us, live 4 hours away and had to make another trip and werent given the option of keeping their daughters teeth. All in all the waiting room felt like a cappy DMV, with the waiting and crowds, locked bathrooms and taking forever to get through. We were lucky that our son did so great b it will never go back.

Over the Christmas holiday one of my fathers molars became infected, and the only place that was open was Division Dental. He also didnt have any dental insurance at the time, which is why we had to go here. First of all they told us they didnt have any openings, but when my mother called they said they could see him in an hour. When we arrived, I was completely disgusted by the appearance of this place. It smelled horrible, and there was about 2 or 3 other patients in the room. I waited at the desk for about 15 minutes and no one acknowledged me until I finally said HELLO we have an appointment? The people behind the desk were so disrespectful and unprofessional, they were talking loudly, swearing, and listening to offensive music. If my father was not is such excruciating pain I would have left immediately, but we had no other choice. After over 3 hours waiting, they finally took him into one of the most sketchy rooms I have ever seen. When the extraction was over they told us we could take him to the car. They left him in this dirty, dark, unsanitary closet type hallway, where he was still knocked out from the procedure, drooling blood on himself. They did not give him any gauze or anything. That is when I lost it, I was so infuriated at the disrespect that these so called "professionals" were using. My father s experience happens numerous times each day. this place needs to be shut down and the dentists need to have their license taken away. Never will I ever go back.

My experience started out great. I was pleased with both dentists who worked on me. Some time after, I received a letter saying I owed them money for one of my visits. I had paid cash (I didnt have insurance at the time) in full for each visit before I left the office. I called to let them know they had made a mistake. The lady in charge of billing wasnt helpful or polite. I understand customer service isnt at the top of the priority list in the medical field, but its important to me. Luckily was able to find my receipt and called her back with the receipt number and was told I had to bring it in. I told her fine. This was an inconvience and it wasnt something I rushed. Then I receive a letter explaining to me why I wouldnt have a receipt. Not once, but twice. Basically saying that I was a liar. Mind you the "non-existent" receipt was in the mail. Then when I was out of town and my room mate gets another call from them saying I owe them money. She explained that the receipt was in the mail. Instead of accepting this, it still wasnt good enough. After explaining that Id get the receipt to her and Im still being bothered is borderline harassment. I definitely wont be going back there, and I HIGHLY recommend not going there without insurance or if youre paying with cash. And lastly, dont lose your receipt.

My sister was "suppose" to be a patient there. She needed a tooth pulled because she was in A LOT of pain. Her PCP recommended her to this office probably because the Doctors are good. So she called and on the phone the recep basically said the first 5 to make it get there emergency extraction basically first come first served, her first visit Dr. Told her that she has an infection he prescribed antibiotics for her to take for a week then told her to come back as soon as the pills are done. One week later we both were in line once again because only the first 5 will be seen; a lady lady shows up in scrubs and informs us that if we were here for emergency extraction it can not be done today because the doctor is on vacation... Its fine that the Dr. Was on vacation but why werent we called and told that?! Instead you had people coming to your office and waiting outside since 6:30 just to be told Dr. Is on vacation and wont be back until such and such a date.

For your well being, Stay away. I have a phobia of dentists and this just made it worse. I was recommended to come here because I did not have insurance and their prices were suppose to be pretty good. But they were not $250 later with supposed anesthesia. I needed a Molar removed because it was decayed and didnt care to save it for the same purpose of not visiting the dentist more than needed. When the Doc was extracting the molar I would raise my hand to let him know I wasnt numb but he completely ignored it. I then Pushed his had away because the pain was unbearable. he didnt numb me completely and told me what i understood "must hurry I have more people waiting." I was weeping almost crying of the pain and he didnt care. Poor excuse of a dentist. WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND OR VISIT AGAIN.

I read almost all the reviews on here and just couldnt believe that one place was that bad, made me afraid to go there. But I said I was going to go cause there are different people with different situations and attitudes.I went today, had an appointment for 12pm the person I talked to on the phone was very polite and informative. I spent in total 2 hours from start to finish. The dentist was very pleasant and very professional as was the technician.I think if you go off what the reviews say you will visit with a set views and attitude of the people there. And whats funny is that it was crowded but got called right away. I will be back for my next appointment.
