I was terrified to learn from my dentist that I had SEVEN wisdom teeth. I have always dreaded the day I might have to have them pulled, and that was when I was only aware of having 4! My dentist referred me to Gentle Dental in Albany, Oregon. Dr. Van De Graaff was AMAZING! There was a risk of permanent nerve damage because one of the teeth was crossing it in the bottom left side of my mouth. I also had an extra wisdom tooth VERY far up by my sinus cavity which posed risk of damage. The entire surgery was said to probably be an hour in a half. When I woke up, after having all 7 pulled, I felt WAY better than what I expected. I was calm, not even that swollen, coherent, not in extreme pain. He also finished in under an hour without ANY complications or damage to nerve or sinus! They were very calm, and showed genuine care and concern. I also got to take my teeth home with me! LOL I would DEFINITELY recommend Van De Graaff to ANYONE.

I am reviewing Gental Dental patient notice system for Albany Oregon. I believe I have been notified by e-mail, text message and by phone. this is the fourth notice Ive received I believe. this is not the first time I am irritated by the invasive system you provide. I do like my dentist, Joe Pham, but Im not thrilled by your administrative nor your billing system. I recently experienced a billing problem that stretched over several months before being resolved. I felt the Albany office could have been more proactive in providing adequate information to me in order I could make a considered decision.

I have a severe dentists phobia and suffer from anxiety, with that being said I have to say that Dr. Van De Graaff and his staff were completely and extremely attentive to me and my fears. They discussed options and included me in the conversation about my dental treatment. I had to get a tooth pulled recently and was scared to death, however the assistants and dentist made me feel safe and comfortable and made me feel cared for. They gave me wonderful medicine that made the whole experience a breeze! Easiest dental appointment Ive ever had! I cannot recommend this place enough! Truly a wonderful team!

I lost my front tooth. To say the least I was very anxious about what to do. I came into contact with Dr. Pham and he helped me tremendously through the entire process. I had a few complications because of my bite and Dr. Pham was able to handle it with great skill and expertise. My smile actually came out looking better than it was before. My wife is very pleased. I was recently speaking with another dentist and his staff and they all wanted to take a moment just to check out my implant, they said they have never seen an implant come out that well before ever. Thank you Dr. Pham, you are the best.

I just saw this review site for the first time and I must give a great thank you to Dr. Pham. In November 2011 I had to have both my upper front teeth extracted. After seeing 4 other dentists, Dr. Pham was the one who designed a temporary prosthetic upper front teeth thing for me to wear in public until June 2012 when I was able to get a prosthedontist to make a permanent bridge with 2 upper front teeth for me. Dr. Pham still asks me how its doing when I go in for just a cleaning. I really thank him for helping me through those 7 months without my 2 front teeth.

submit ALL of your bills and claims to your insurance a second or third time. they sent me an invoice that didnt reflect the $200 payment I made and did not bill my insurance correctly. so after doing the footwork for them I eventually got my claim submitted correctly and it was covered. I can only imagine how many people theyve screwed over who dont resubmit their bills. 2 stars instead of 1 because my surgery went well. youre awesome dr. van de Graff.

I have to give these guys 5 plus stars, they treated me like I mattered, they got me in fast, and were sensitive, compassionate, and gave me treatment which I wasnt expecting same day or at all until results of testing came back, I feel so relieved. Plus the procedure they performed . was much less costly than the place I had originally planned on going without any run around, or confusion of communication. I would highly recommend this office.

I dont think I have ever been to a better dentist office, They treat you so well and are so nice and everything is pretty much painless cause they take the time to make sure your numbed up very well I would give them more stars if I could. I have already recommended some friends to them.
