I havent seen an eye doctor in years, partly because Ive never had any issues with my vision, but recently I was like you know what, its about time I get my eyes checked just to make sure everything checks out --- and Im so glad I did! I looked up Uptown Vision as I had read and heard good things about them and decided to give them a shot, partly because their office looks super chic and I like their style. Anyhow, I ended up seeing Dr. Roshie to give me an eye exam and she was stellar. Shes very informative and clearly knows what shes doing. She did a great job at helping me understand each step of the process. Turns out I have something going on with one of my eyes, but she put me at ease by explaining the risk factors, what I need to do, and even booked an appointment. Im so glad she was my doctor, as she answered all my questions, showed me where to research stuff to learn more --- she even looked stuff up on the computer so that I wouldnt get lost in internet wonderworld freaking myself out or reading the wrong stuff. At the end of my appointment, I got outfitted for a slick pair of frames, thanks to Ryan. Ive never worn glasses in my life and Im super excited to sport a new look with these killer frames! The selection was hard as theres so many unique eye pieces to choose from, but with Ryans help, we chose one that I couldnt be happier with! I totally recommend Uptown Vision for anyone looking for personalized one-on-one eye care or seeking to upgrade their look with a stylish pair of frames.

I try to get regular exams yearly, but since moving and with a busy schedule- Its difficult to find the time. I was in need of help for my dry eyes and I read great reviews about Uptown Vision and Dr. Roshie, so I decided to make an appointment. I am so glad that I did! From the moment I walked in, everyone was extremely professional and attentive. Dr. Roshie saw was very knowledgable, extremely thorough and kind. She explained what I could do to alleviate my symptoms and better protect my eyes from direct air, heat, etc. She sent over an eye drop prescription to my pharmacy which was denied (due to my subpar insurance) and she was so quick to fax over a replacement and/or work with my insurance company to make sure I could get something that fit my budget. In my own experiences, this process itself is very difficult to get through and she made it a breeze. I am so thankful for Uptown Vision and Dr. Roshie.. I recommend her to everyone, the office decor is gorgeous, the staff is wonderful and the glasses are so chic! I wont go anywhere else. Thank you Uptown Vision!

Absolutely the worst optometrist office Ive been to in my life. Throughout the whole process the staff has been difficult to work with. After I placed my contact order, I took the boxes home and realized after I tried one on that they put in the wrong order. We went back and forth several times and they refused to do anything about it. They put all the blame on me and now Im stuck with 6 months of the wrong contact lense. Its like going to a restaurant placing your food order, you take one bite, realize its not correct and the restaurant charging you for the dish (even though thats not what you ordered). =( DO not waste your time or money. There are much better places to go in the DFW area.

Not worth the visit, they gave me an appointment because my eye contact scratched my eye. They only checked my eye and gave me a prescription, charged $110 out of pocket . ok that was fine but I still had no contacts to wear. Second appointment and I was expecting the new contacts I wanted but still I only had my eyes checked another $110 out of pocket. Another appointment was given to me the following day. Its just didnt seem right because I am paying for my insurance and having to keep paying out of pocket for every visit. Never got my contacts so I just canceled my appointment. I dont recommend this place at all. I got frustrated.

The hassle of dealing with the staff is not worth the convenient location. I have been a client of Uptown Vision for 3 years. After my last experience, I will not be returning nor recommending this place for two reasons. 1) The staff is inattentive and act like you are inconveniencing them by coming into the lobby. 2) I discovered the staff had chosen how to apply my insurance benefits without consulting me on the options, resulting in me paying more than I should have. Upon calling them, they are issuing me a refund check, but I was unimpressed with them making decisions without consulting me.

High level of care, everyone on the phone and in the office is very friendly and helpful. Im impressed with the level of care/diagnostics/machines. Dr. Roshie is great, very thorough, explains everything wonderfully, and answers all my questions. Having a 5:30 P.M appointment REALLY helps with my schedule! Highly recommend uptown vision to anyone! Great hours Open on SATURDAY! And in a great location!

Dr. Henderson has been my eye doctor now for almost a decade - he and the Uptown office staff are great. The service and choice in glasses is top notch. Ive worn glasses since I was a child, so getting good frames and lenses has always been important to me. I now receive so many compliments on the glasses Ive purchased with Uptown. Happy customer!

Very friendly staff who are extremely attentive to my needs. I have been wearing gas permeable contact lenses for 15 years and they have fine tuned my contacts with precision and kept me up to date with technological advances for my condition. I really cant ask for more from Dr. Henderson and his staff.

Dr. Bill Henderson is the best eye doctor I have ever seen. I drive from SETX back to my home town just to see Dr. Henderson. He is the only doctor that caught my mothers cataracts and he caught the dark mark on my retina. He is the most through eye doctor I have ever been to!!!
