**This is for the Dr office on the 2nd floor, not the ER** HORRIBLE. Whoever the new mgmt at this clinic is, they are ruining the practice. I was very ill and called to see my dr a few mos ago and was told I am not allowed to be seen until I pay a past due amt of over $900, shocked, and in need of care, I called another dr and got the help I needed. I later I got a revised invoice for $200 so they were wrong. My dr there called bc I was due for a diabetic check up so I called to schedule and told the lady of the balance due and told her I am paying this out and I dont want any issues w scheduling, she said I am fine. So today, on the first day of my vacation, I get up early, get dressed, fasting and go in to get my physical...while checking in I mentioned making a payment and the kid at the front desk said her mgr said I cant be seen unless I pay the full amt now. Wth! I told her I asked about this in advance and was not told I was declined to be seen. She got up to go ask her mgr and I decided Im not going to be treated this way so I told her Im leaving, send me an invoice and I will pay off the balance, but this is a shitty way to treat people. With a sassy face she said okay. Ive never been declined care bc I couldnt pay a balance in full. I am a mess and have lots of medical expenses so I have to pay stuff out. I do not recommend this facility. What used to be a warm, welcoming practice is now the complete opposite. Such a shame.

The Baylor Family Medical Center of Rockwall is staffed with excellent doctors. I have always been please with the medical care I have received at the Rockwall location. The office staff at the Rockwall location is another story. Not only is the office staff incompetent, they are lazy, unhelpful and dishonest. I was billed for an additional lab fee without my permission and ultimately turned over to a collection agency because of this incompetent staff. I was never made aware of the additional charges incurred until a collection letter finally found my new address. My I remind you all that these charges were not authorized by me. I later found out that that Baylor in general was incompetent in their business practices as it was a complete nightmare getting this issue resolved. Baylor really needs to take a look at how this location is being operated. Staffing changes are desperately needed.

The staff is nice and there facility is clean. They messed up on a test and said I had abnormalities and needed to see a specialist. I saw a specialist. They did the same test and all was finger. There doctors said the other messed up administering the test. Their mistake cost me a few hundred dollars worth that one visit. I will not be returning to this facility.

I did not see one person here that was grumpy. Theyre all professional. They truly care about the patient. I got a good report from the heart doctor! No matter what your diagnosis is, you will have a pleasant visit at Baylor Emergency Medical Center. The facility is clean and even the elevator ride is smooth.

I have never waited less than 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment. I completely agree with the previous review. The doctors here are really great. However, the office staff needs a serious dose of reality and a course on how to treat people and patients. I will never set foot back in that office.

Almost impossible to get through on the phone to talk to anyone. IVE BEEN CALLING FOR TWO DAYS, and always get a busy signal. Its a horrible frustrating experience. All I wanted to do was get a Drs note for my sons school.

Im not sure about in the past but the staff and doctors are wonderful! They have same day visits and if my dr isnt in I can see another one if I am sick. my kids have both seen dr Adcock and loved him!

Billing practices dishonest, getting separate bills from numerous places. Beware that you will be billed separately for the doctor! Really?! A doctor doesnt automatically come with an ER visit?

I was impressed by the doctors I saw here. They were knowledgeable and kind. I didnt have any problems with the staff either. Perhaps things have changed in recent years, but it was nice.
