This "emergency room" is by far the worst in the area. I went in there because Ive had horrible abdominal pain and blurred/spotty vision for the past few weeks. I didnt think anything of it until today when I started vomiting and began looking up all of my symptoms. I realized my birth control could be the problem. I had the Nexplanon implanted in my arm in February and realized it is broken. The doctor told me that he cant feel where it is broken, yet you can clearly see three points in my arm. They ordered a pregnancy test which is routine for women of "child bearing age", and also ordered test to check for infections in my urine. The nurse told me that my symptoms could be a virus and not my birth control. The doctor was eager to inform me that I wasnt pregnant and that my urine was clean but he did not know how to take the birth control out of my arm. He had the audacity to tell me that he still wanted me to get a CT of my abdominal area, blood work, and other excessive things, but could not do what I came there for. He tried to belittle me and make me feel like an idiot because I wanted the Nexplanon taken out of my arm and refused to let that "emergency room" charge me for excessive tests if they couldnt do what I needed. Needless to say, after receiving zero help from any of the staff I eventually just got up and walked out. I will be contacting administration first thing Monday morning. I pay over $200 a month for insurance, and its not like I walked into the "emergency room" with a sore throat expecting free health care. Get it to together and either hire some doctors who know what theyre doing or you might as well close down, this place is an absolute disgrace to the Forney Community. I might as well have gone to Mesquite.

First off the nurse was rude. I went in because Ive had back pain for five months. I went to my primary care dr. And he gave me antibiotics twice thinking I had a Kidney infection the first time and a UTI the second. I couldnt take the pain anymore so I went to the ER. The pain comes and goes. Really bad pain for a while then it gets a little better more dull. The Dr. gave me a pregnancy test and tested urine for infection. Since I didnt have an infection and wasnt pregnant the Dr. Said he wasjust going to give me some pain meds. I did not come here for pain meds, a pregnancy test and a bill for 5,000. I came to find out what was wrong with me. After he told me that I started crying saying cant you give me a sonogram? He said there was not anyone there that can give a sonogram. I then asked for a ct scan. Finally he agreed to that. The ct lady was the only NICE person. She was very sweet and did a great job. SHE ACTUALLY DID HER JOB. Then the nurse wanted to come in and give me a shot for pain. I told her no! Two hours later he came in saying I had a Kidney stone. That it was in my kidney and too big for me to pass. That I should not have any syptoms yet. That isBS. I feel like a knife is stabbing me in my back. He said its too big for me to pass that Ill have to go to an Urologist. Then he wrote me an RX for an antibiotic and pain med. If I didnt have an infection why did he write a RX for an antibiotics? Makes me wonder...

*** Update 3/18/2016*** 3 weeks ago this place was quick to respond to my review on Google. "ED" has yet to contact me and this place owes me money! Now, whomever reads and responds to these reviews, dont patronize me with your "eager" response. I want action today. *** Post 1: 2/20/2016 The staff was nice Dr. saw me for 5 min. had a bruise that I thought I would need an x-ray but no they didnt think that was needed. Got a shot and walked out to the payment desk. I do have a $500 er visit and was ready to pay that. Once I get to the payment station an I am told that its going to be $782 so ok its expensive they show me the sheet with the totals for my visit said thats a little bit excessive but ok. Then check my bank and they took the $782 plus the $500 for $1282. Not happy about that at all I feel like I was dealing with a used car salesmans bait and switch game. Needless to say, I will not go back there unless an ambulance takes me there and Im unconscious and cant say dont take me there. I live in the community and wanted to try it never again and will post and tell all others in the comunity about the excessive costs., oh and wait Im still getting a seperate bill for the DR. cant wait to see that.

I went here back in June because I woke up with my eye nearly swollen shut and very sensitive to light and I could not see my regular doctor that day as she was out of the office, so I came here only to be spoken to rudely by almost everyone I came into contact with the doctor came in and barely looked at my eye and said it was pink eye and then when I went to check out I told them I would not be able to pay the full $150 dollars that day and asked to set up a payment plan the man at the desk told me I shouldnt come to the emergency room if it wasnt a real emergency and if I couldnt afford it, I was very upset by this and the fact that when I was able to go to my regular eye doctor she told me it had never been pink eye but some other sort of eye infection. They really need to work on their customer service, the ER was no where near busy it was the middle of a week day and I was the only one in the waiting room the doctor could have taken more time to check me over but instead he was rude and quick with me and as for the billing department they continue to call and harass and threaten me even if I have just given them a payment the day before.

Went to the ER, the RN on the triage was rude and i could clearly see that she dont enjoy her work. The Oriental very short doctor was very unprofessional. He came to my room and never introduced himself, as i gave him my symptoms he was stepping backwards as if i had Ebola. The only thing he did was auscultate my lower back for 2 seconds. He said my lungs were clear and i was wheezing like crazy. I am respiratory therapist thats what i do everyday. He never checked my oral airways, ears, etc. He ordered chest X ray, and they run flu test and it come back positive. I am really going to pay him 5k for checking me for 2 seconds? I felt bad because i work for the same company and i also happen to work in a busy ER. This is not what we do. It was a very hostile environment i was offended. Never going back here. But i did let them know i am RT. I am so tired of healthcare am back to school doing something else. The doctors corruption, laziness, exceptionalism, belligerence have driven me to the core. Was my first time and last time to go back there.
