Ok so at 8 months pregnant my options were limited when talking about the root canal AND 4 wisdom tooth extractions I needed to have. I was VERY apprehensive, found the most highly rated place I could and went in for consultation, staff was wonderful and friendly, but I was still very apprehensive (after all thats how I ended up with all this dental work needing to be done in the first place). So the day comes for my dental surgery, I am a calm person really but had some serious anxiety about this, my pain had been almost unbearable for months but I still considered not going in. Well, it was a wonderful experience, the whole thing, they have access to every extra comfort measure out there for their patients and though I was limited on what pain meds I could have because of pregnancy I still felt completely comfortable throughout the 3 hours or so of procedures and Dr Gatgens was so great about asking how I was doing the entire time to be sure I was not feeling a thing. If he noticed the slightest whince or discomfort he stopped right then and fixed it. They went out of their way to have everything approved by my OB(not an easy task with the vast size of the OB group I use). The staff was so wonderful before, during and after the procedures! I was very surprised at how little pain/soreness I felt afterward, I actually feel completely normal, no swelling and very mild tolerable soreness, im taking 1/3 of the Tylenol the day after surgery as I was the past 3 months, and judging by what Im feeling now I can jump the gun and say I wont be needing any more after today. I am SO glad I did this, and will not be going anywhere else!! I even brought my dentist-phob mother in with tooth pain and she even was pleased (that says a lot!)

My son had a dental implant procedure, I have had several root canals and crowns (with no pain, I might add), and the whole family has regular cleanings. The entire staff is so knowledgable and friendly, and Brittany does a great job handling my dual insurance coverage! Im so thankful for Accent Smile Center!

I like so many others am no fan of the dentists chair. But I find myself more comfortable than I could ever imagine. Dr. Ford and staff are thorough and look to restore and maintain overall wellbeing. I find my phobia of the dentist eases with the attention they pay to your care and comfort. I am new to the office and already a big fan. Great job guys.

I have been a patient for over ten years, and I could not imagine going to any other dentist office. I lived in Atlanta for 2 years and drove back to TN for all of my dental appointments because of Dr. Gatgens and his staff! The atomosphere is wonderful and everyone treats you like family. I have been dealing with some incredible jaw and ear pain lately, my teeth hurting. Last week Dr. Gatgens did a complete occlusal adjustment, popped my night guard in, and less than a week later my teeth and jaw is 100% better. These guys are wonderful! Couldnt ask for friendlier people who put you at ease right away which is definitely a huge plus for a Dental clinic. Very great staff. The dentist always tries to describe the issue in a way you can understand, he also double-checks himself to make sure he gets everything right. Does not rush to try to get you out. He takes extra time to focus on you if its needed. They provide very high quality service.
