I surely dont understand why this Smile Group has five-star review here. Maybe everyone else has good teeth to begin with. For me, I have never had such bad experience with any other dentists. It started last year when I did my cleaning there. I drank coffee and tea a lot and the staining was heavy. Their hygienist did such a crappy job that she only cleaned the flat surface of the teeth and left a lot of stains between the teeth. These leftover stains became sites for quickly accumulating more stains and made the staining even worse than before cleaning. I had never been this embarrassed about my teeth at that time. So when my next cleaning was due I switched to a different dentist. Later I got a call from the Smile Group saying they apologize for that bad experience and they can offer a free cleaning if I go back. I felt I might have switched too quickly and I should give the Smile Group another shot (actually I also deleted my previous bad review). So today when I had toothache I went back to the Smile Group to check. They obviously have forgotten their apologies; and once they heard that I disagreed with their expensive extra treatment plans (yes, they like to add those whenever possible) and I had tried other dentist, their attitude turned so quickly and one manager called Lesley almost wanted to kick me out. This time, I will indeed never go back to the so-called “Smile” Group.

Since moving to the city of Chicago, Ive struggled to find a dependable dentist that I would feel comfortable seeing on a regular basis. My friend referred me to Highland Park Dental group and I havent looked back since. When I think of the dentists office, I think of old rickety chairs, out of date equipment, and crabby old receptionists---H.P.D.G. is a truly state-of-the-art first class facility that has forever reshaped my image of what a dental office SHOULD be. Dr. Asadi and his staff were some of the nicest and most knowledgeable people Ive ever met. Within one minute of walking into their office, I was in a chair ready to receive my cleaning. I left with a complimentary whitening kit and clear instructions on how to effectively maintain my oral hygiene. Dr. Asadi broke it down for me very clearly and clearly stated what EXACTLY I would have to do to maintain my oral health. Ample parking, complimentary coffee/tea/WiFi, and right next to Jimmy Johns. What more could you ask for?

I rarely leave reviews; unfortunately, only when Ive had a bad experience, but The Smile Group in Highland Park was such a great experience that I felt compelled to write a review! Just really great hygienist (Milena), Dr. Xu, and DA Cecilia - all amazing. They were very thorough with the cleaning and the oral exam (super comprehensive), even giving me helpful hints throughout, answered my questions, asked me questions to just know about me, etc. Lets just say, the whole process wasnt your normal bi-annual "ok, lets just get her done" appointment. I think I finally found my forever dentistry practice, and I dont just say that lightly. I assess hospital systems and staff for a living, have dentists in the family and have many dentist friends, and so its rare when someplace really blows me away. Great job, and keep up the good work!

Best dental office in Highland Park where patients always come first! from the moment you call to schedule an appointment to the time you leave the office. Doctors are incredibly talented, professional and knowledgeable and do take their time to answer questions and clearly explain any concerns. The staff is friendly, caring and courteous. The office is up to date, fresh and clean with a relaxing environment. The services they offer are great, anywhere from straightening teeth to implants and more. They have the latest technology out and are up to date. I would highly recommend The Smile Group to any individual or family in need of an awesome dental practice.

Best dental office I have ever been to! I cannot say enough about dedication the entire staff has towards their patients. I was welcomed right away when I walked in by super friendly front desk administrators. Then, Adrianne (one of the assistants) gave me a tour of the facility making me feel comfortable . Once I was seated, Dr. Amiran educated me on why and how she is going to do the work on my teeth. I am very impressed how high tech this office is! I got a crown from start to finish in one visit. The crown felt like my original tooth. I highly recommend The Smile Group office and I am looking forward to my next visit.

So I woke up on Monday thinking its gonna be a great day but i noticed i had a chipped tooth. I called my dentist and figured I have to wait 2 weeks to go an appointment but to my surprise they got me the next day. I went in, the staff was amazing as always, doctor Fisher was a total pro and she got me fixed up in a couple hours. I was good. Im a happy man now. Doctor Fisher knows her craft. She knows how to give a shot in a way that you dont even feel it. And the staff, Cecilia she is SO nice, she brought me 4 cups of water. Such an amazing stuff. Very happy with the service, highly recommend them to anybody.

Absolutely the best dental office Ive ever experienced. Just had a very large crown replaced yesterday, requiring considerable drilling. Totally painless, including the injection of anesthetic. Crown made right on the premises. Even after all that work, the tooth feels perfectly fine with no discomfort at all. I was amazed at how much time Dr Asadi spent getting the fit just right and then working slowly to make sure the bite was just perfect. No other dentist has ever dedicated this level of detail to my dental health. It makes a huge difference. If you want truly excellent dental care, this is the place to go..

Dr. Al-Asadi is cool, calm, articulate and detail-oriented. He provides actionable advice for better dental hygiene. For instance, he can tell you what toothpaste to use and why and he can tell you how to change the way you hold your toothbrush for better results. He does this kind of thing without sounding condescending (which I cant say for other dentists Ive been too!) The office is clean, the people are efficient and friendly and they not only invest in good, modern technology, but also they know how to use it. If you care about your teeth, you should be a patient of the Smile Group in Highland Park.

As a newer patient at the Smile Group, I must say that I am both happy & relieved to have found a practice that I trust, and does excellent work. The dentists are highly skilled and trustworthy, as they share all information with me, including costs and a time-line for any work needed. The hygienist’s are careful, extremely thorough, and again, share what they are doing and find as I go through the cleaning process. I was sooo happy with The Smile Group as my dentist, I decided to bite the bullet (no pun intended) and finally get much-needed braces. They have been nothing short of professional and friendly, and have somehow managed to make the experience of shifting my teeth somewhat enjoyable - thanks to their upbeat attitude, thoroughness at every appointment, and keeping me informed of my progress every step of the way. While I live in the city, they are well-worth the commute to Highland Park, and I recommend them to anyone looking for true professionals!
