Loved Dr. Bogard and her Tech., they were great with both my dogs! I was there for a wellness check on a rescue and had my 4 month old Doberman puppy with me. I inquired about getting her a heartworm pill and told them she had been on one for a month already. After explaining to them we had to buy month to month because of her weight change, without any questions, they said no problem. This was the ultimate test I had for their office because my 4 month olds "Old Vets Office" said I would need to bring her in to get her tested and probably have to pay for a wellness check again. Right then I knew it was time to find a different Doctor. According to the "American Heartworm Society" dogs should not need to be test until at least 8 months old but encourage you to start them on a heartworm preventative medication before then. With all that being said, this will be my dog’s new Doctor’s office. I seen the AWESOME team work among everyone and it definitely did not go unnoticed.

Unfortunately I had a bad experience with them too. I left my dog there to be boarded for a couple day while I was out of town. When I picked her up she was super excited to see me-Im thinking- aww she missed me. Well as soon as I get her outside the door she pulls me to the grassy area (shes a very mild mannered dog and doesnt pull) where she poceeds to poop and pee four times in a row-one right after the other. Needless to say I was furious. Had they not taken her out at all? I went in and asked when the last time she was taken out and let them know what happened and they just looked at me like I was dumb and couldnt give me an answer. If you think about it, thats half of what your paying for. Why even leave her there and pay them for not doing thier job? Im looking for another pet hospital/boarding place.

I went to Kimbrough for the first time this week! My cat was very sick and they were one of the few places open before I had to be at work. Wow! I was blown away by how nice the staff are and Dr. Kimbrough himself treated our cat. He was very knowledgeable and reiterated everything I researched myself. Treated my cats allegeries immediately and was extra careful since my cat is a jerk and hates most people! The prices were extremely affordable- paid mostly for the medication which is surprising since the place is in a brand new building! I thought it was going to be a fortune! I told the staff how surprised I was and they said they will work with us if its too high. They truly care and put the pets first! We found our new vet.

Dr. Kimbrough is a nice guy, but his staff left a lot to be desired. For a vet who used to specialize in large animals, he and his staff did a poor job handling my xlarge dog. The girl was afraid of being bitten so they wouldnt help me get the muzzle on him. Hes never bit anyone, he was just anxious like most dogs about the muzzle. Another time when I had to board him for a few hours, they let him sit in his urine while he was sedated without cleaning the kennel. He broke out in a rash. I felt like my dog was mistreated on several occasions. However, my friend also used Dr. Kimbrough. He removed a large tumor from her dog quite successfully.

I took my 3 dogs there and I found their staff was very nice and professional. The dogs boarded there for about 3 days while we were moving. I would recommend them for sure!! (And I think they had a couple new staff members if that helps. Seems like most of the negativity is about staff.) Very clean, big, nice facility too. The dogs seemed happy when I picked them up and had been fed & watered, and didnt have any accidents in the car and we drove for about 30 minutes. I would definitely use this facility for my babies, and I am super picky!!!

Dr. Kimbrough, Dr. Bogard, and the caring staff at Kimbrough Animal Hospital have always been knowledgeable, caring, and compassionate in every way. They take the time to answer my questions, to exemplify great communication with all their clients, and to provide the very best in veterinary services available in Longview, Texas. Most of all, they truly love what they do, and it shows in their handling of my pets. I recommend them to anyone looking for a top quality vet in our area.

I took my cat in that I adopted at Wet Pets because it was a free neuter and rabies and well check for my adoption purchase. I was told he had earmites and it was a $15 application and $4 for some flea and tick stuff walked out of there after paying them $50. My brother had a similar experience were they charged him at least double what they told him it would be. So glad I dont have to go back there. Very misleading

We have our two great danes under the care of the Kimbrough Animal Hospital and have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Kimbrough and his staff. They have had annual visits, surgeries and have stayed overnight on more than one occasion. If I was a dog, I would go to Dr. Kimbrough. Big Thanks from Frog and Henry.

I just put down my 2nd dog with Dr. Kimbrough and his staff. They all knew my dogs and my dogs liked going to the vet. The staff was there and supported me and each of my dogs as they took their last breath, and departed for doggie heaven. Bless them all for doing a job that I would not be able to do. 5 stars for all. Karen

Took the parrot here for a beak, wing, and claw trim. Their staff is very friendly to you and gentle with your pets. I couldnt imagine having to go anywhere else. Big 5 Stars well earned here!
