Dr. Heilman is AMAZING. Ive been going to my familys dentist for a while but lately they have been changing their staff continuously, its just not comfortable to go to that office anymore. Gateway Smiles is a new office that Ive been eyeing since it opened near my home, so I decided to try it out and I am so glad I did. Very friendly staff as soon as you walk into the office and extremely helpful. I was seen by Dr. Fabiana Heilman. She has amazing bedside manners and from the X-rays to the examination and cleaning, she explained everything in detail, I feel like I could be a dentist now. Despite the fact that Ive been going to my childhood dentist regularly every 6 months, Dr. Heilman showed me some cavities on the X-ray. I had been telling my previous dentist that certain teeth were sensitive, but he had always told me that I was not brushing enough and not flossing enough (I really do!). Now that Dr. Heilman pointed out the cavities to me, I can see why they have been progressively getting more sensitive. What a great addition to the community this office is. Very clean, high tech equipment and gentle staff that really makes you feel at home when you step into the office. I have scheduled my next appointment to take care of my cavities. I cant believe Im the first to write a review for them. Thank you, Dr. Heilman. You are the best.

Ive been procrastinating treatment of this broken molar of mine for years. This weekend it finally decided to go critical. In an agony induced frenzy I began calling every dentist in town... On a sunday. When I contacted Gateway Smiles their answering service personnel listened and spoke with more compassionate competence than any of the full time staff at the other places. They were able to get me in first thing Monday morning. DDS Brownie was accomadating, friendly and extremely skilled. She was fully prepared and didnt miss a beat when my extraction became a surgical one. She deftly removed my nightmare tooth with a precision Ive never experienced in my many many hours of chair-time. Throughout the process their team effectively communicated all of my options and the process every step of the way. Their front desk staff were also phenomenal with the excellent payment options and their aftercare package was a really nice way to add just that extra little bit of a professional touch. Simply amazing.

This was the best dental experience I have ever had in my life! Rebecca, my dental hygienist, was incredibly gentle and kind. She explained everything she was doing in detail and helped me understand anything that I had a question about. She is the best dental hygienist Ive ever had and I look forward to my 6 month cleaning with her. I loved all of the new updated technology as well. The intraoral pictures really helped to show what was going on too. The digital X-rays were quick and painless. Dr Brownie was also very attentive to my questions and was incredibly kind too, she got to know me as a patient and Ive never had a dentist that seems to care as much as she does. Even the front desk woman, Susie, was very helpful and professional with finances. I will recommend this office to all of my family and friends! I never want to leave this office, I truly feel like a member of their family!! Go see the amazing staff!

I recently decided to give Gateway Dentistry a try after receiving a direct mail advertisement for them. The fact that I had a raging infection helped too! Lol. Setting up the appointment was easy as they have an online option, and they facilitated the approval of my various insurances with practiced ease. From start to finish the girls made sure I knew my situation and what my options were, and there was never any pressure to do something that I didnt want to do. I felt safe and well cared for the entire time and even got in quite a few laughs! I was blessed to have Jennifer Steinman as my dentist (Im sure Fabiana is great too) and she rocked it! Part of their Mission Statement is to make every patient feel like family, and based on the way I was treated, they mean it! I look forward to my next visit and am confident it will be as successful as my first!

Very pleased with my experience at Gateway Smiles! I had a root canal this morning and the entire process was pain-free. I was a bit nervous, but the staff were extremely kind and gentle with me (I even got a teddy bear to snuggle during the procedure!) and they were able to do the root canal and a filling on a nearby tooth at the same time. Very clean building with very professional people - easily the best dental experience I have had so far! The front desk was also super accomodating with my payment plan and worked together with me to find an option that was most convenient. I plan on returning for all my future dental needs, and will definitely recommend Gateway Smiles to family and friends in the area. :)

I was told I needed 7, yes SEVEN fillings, almost $1,900 in work. I went to 2 other local dentists for second and third opinions. Without telling them what Gateway Smiles said each dentist found 2 fillings. I am getting them fixed for $400 this week. I feel like Gateway Smiles tried taking advantage of me. When the office manager told me the price I was shocked and said I was going to get a second opinion before spending that much. She said if I did it right then she would take 10% off. That made me feel more uncomfortable that she was trying to pressure/rush me into treatment. The hygienist and dentist were friendly but do feel like they tried taking advantage of me financially. I will not be returning.

This office was amazing - In addition to making multiple calls to verify insurance and explaining policy details I wasnt even aware of, they were able to diagnose and explain several problems I knew were becoming more serious. They also reassured me about payment and made everything convenient to coordinate with CareCredit for my upcoming emergency root canal (which they even rescheduled due to my unrelated medical problems that prevented me keeping my first appointment), and everyone was very personal yet seemed very focused on accurate data collection during my visit. Highly professional, and definitely where Im going to be sticking around with as a primary dental provider in the Aurora area.

I met Dr Heilman in 2014. I was fresh out of college with little/no dental experience. Dr Heilman hired me away. She was one of the few dentist i admire for her work ethic and passion she have for others. Shes loving, reliable, funny and loves what she do. Over the past few years she became my roll model. For that reason Im currently in college studying to become a dentist and she plays a important roll this chapter of my life. I pray that Ill be as half as good as her and have the same passion and love she have for her patients. She doesnt just fix teeth; she change people life. And im proud to say SHES THE BEST DENTIST YOULL EVER COME FIND!!!!!!!! -Nadia

I wouldnt normally think to review a dentist office but Ive had such an awesome experience with this office I had to give them recognition.The entire staff is friendly and accomidating. Dr. Brownie is credible, meticulous and warm. Ive had standard cleanings and x-rays done, both handled swiftly, without pain and with excellent results. I expressed interest in invisalign and was given great information and I was happy to learn I could be treated at this office without having to be referred to someplace new. Its nice to finally have found these qualities in a dental practice.
