I arrived at 8:00 and the lady at the front desk seemed annoyed by my presence. She asked if I had a primary care physician. I told her yes and she said I should go there. I told her he could not see me today and relented and begrudgingly asked for my information. I understood her reluctance as it took her 30 minutes and the help of others to figure out how to enter my insurance information. When I asked her a question about the paperwork I was filling out, she could not answer my question in a coherent manner. When I did get back to the Shundonna Shaw, NP, she didnt seem to care that I was there but just quickly asked me questions, input the information, and quickly looked in my nose, throat, and ears, and prescribed me cough medicine, a sinus cocktail, and Flonase. I asked about an antibiotic as my sinus infections always linger for weeks and I was trying to get ahead of this one and not suffer sleepless nights to which she refused to give me an antibiotic as I have only been sick four days, which she stated protocol dictated no antibiotics. I asked if she didnt want to examine the evidence before she just blankly followed protocol to which she got loud and talked me down like a rebellious child. In short, reluctant customer service and lack of interest in the individual needs of patients does not equal medical attention. It seems more like an assembly line approach.

The facility is very nice, modern and clean. Front desk staff is personable and notifies patients in the lobby if there are any unforeseen delays. The two doctors there are by appointment only Monday-Friday 8am-5pm; however, there is one, sometimes two, nurse practitioners available on the walk-in side Monday-Thursday 8am-7pm, Friday 8am-5pm, and Saturday 8am-noon. Medical assistants there are kind and work hard to serve their patients from triage, to procedures, to lab, referrals, charting, etc. They have multiple patient-care tasks to perform in a day and are very professional and get things done. Also, there is x-ray available Mon-Fri 8am-5pm which is advantageous. Providing quality patient care is a number one priority to each and every staff member here. While not every thing is perfect they do appreciate any feedback and suggestions to help them continue to grow and improve on things that may need to be tweaked. It is their goal that each patient have a pleasant experience at their office from check-in to check-out. The full-time security staff there is also top-notch and will go out of their way to make you feel like family. The people here have a genuine concern for you and strive to give nothing but the best patient care possible.

I wish I could give this place a negative star. I went in to be diagnosed and the incompetent, condescending nurse practitioner, Shundonna Shaw, wrongfully turned it into a psychological evaluation. She took it upon herself to assess my mental state which was not the reason for my visit. Also I paid money to see a doctor and nobody informed me that was going to see a nurse practitioner so if youre looking for a doctors experience look elsewhere. The supervisor told me that it says nurse practitioner on the door, however it says Shundonna Shaw DNPFNP-BC. How the hell is someone outside the medical field suppose to know that, that means nurse practitioner? After waiting 3 hours and getting a completely uncalled for psychological evaluation they called the police on me and I was escorted against my will to a mental institute where I was held for another 3 hours. The doctors there assessed me and said there was nothing wrong with my mental state. Obviously there is nothing wrong I didnt go to the doctors for a mental evaluation because Im not mentally ill! The next day I went in for a refund due to my unsatisfaction and the supervisor Pam denied me that. They dont care about you they only want your money! Ill be suing for medical malpractice.

Listen to the reviews, they are true. I go to one of the primary care physicians at this clinic and are treated by a very professional and caring staff. Its a whole different world on the walk in side! My husband was ill and my doctor was booked so we went to the nurse practitioner, Shundonna Shaw. The lazy desk person asked what was wrong and when I told her she said he should go to the emergency room. I told her a nurse practitioner had treated him the last time he had these symptoms. She reluctantly took his information. We were the only ones there, so he got right in. The nurse did an EKG, which took forever. Then Shundoona came in poked around on him, made no notes and then told my husband to go to the emergency room. I asked if she was going to try to make an educated guess and she said no, she didnt know what was wrong. We asked for our money back and of course they refused. I understand why no one was in there the whole time we were! We went down the street to Methodist Minor Med and a nurse practitioner diagnoised my husband, called in some meds and he is much better today. This walk in was full of people and we only waited an hour. I would recommend going to them instead of Shundonna Shaw.

No doctor here only a nurse. And as younwalk you have tell the front desk infront of multiple people why you want to see the nurse, basically reveal personal medical information in the lobby. Then the someone calls the RNnurse (she is in the back) again Saying why you wanna see her, again this is all on the lobby where your personal health issues are being revealed. Long story short the three times ive been there the nurse turned me down everytime:

Wouldnt accept me as a walk-in patient, receptionist says because my insurance card has the name of my primary care doctor printed on it. My primary care doctor works for them! He is a BMG physician! Dont waste your time. If you only need to see an NP go to CVS or Walgreens.

Not interested in seeing any walk ins. No Doctors available. No one in waiting room but they werent interested in helping. It used to be a post office, and it is pretty bad when the postal workers were more helpful than the staff here
