Absolutely currently disgusted with this place. Called a week ago to make sure I could have my dog dropped off for day spa. Im out of town and a friend is watching our pooch. Unfortunately the day we get back our friend is flying out of town. The plan was for her to drop our dog off at the pet resort for the day and we would pick him up when we got in town. Pet resort said yes and I booked it. Now I am out of town they call and say they cant take him because they have no space. Excuse me. I booked and there was space..now there isnt? This place is absolutely disgusting to treat customers this way. I agree with other posts that they must be all about money and booked someone else who is boarding their dog. Regardless you dont so business this way. Now I have to find a way to cut our vacation short to get home to make sure our dog gets home. Thanks a lot pet resort. Ill never use you again and Ill make sure I spread the word and blow up social media about how piss poor your run your business. Also want to note during the times I did use the resort for day spa, I rarely saw my dog on the cameras playing which means 90% of the time he was in a crate. Hes come home with stained yellow tail and under belly (hes a white dog) which means hes laid in his urine for a long period of time. Hes come home with scratches on his belly before which signifies another dog was on top of him which makes me wonder how well the staff watches the dogs. Absolutely appalled with this place and am fuming. If youre looking to board your dog I suggest looking elsewhere because you might get a call on vacation just like I just did.

I am very unhappy with this clinic. I took my dog for a non-anesthetic dental cleaning and prior to making the appointment had him seen by a vet there who stated the dog was a good candidate for the procedure. To be a good candidate the dog can not need teeth pulled. After dropping the dog off for the cleaning I called later to check on him and was told by a vet tech the dog couldnt have the procedure due to the condition of his teeth. I was given an estimate for an anesthetic dental cleaning saying the dog needed 8-12 teeth pulled which sounded excessive considering I was initially told he didnt need teeth pulled and he is a young dog. I then got a second opinion at a certified veterinary dentist who told me it is not possible to definitively determine the number of teeth a dog needs extracted without an x-ray, which the clinic did not offer. In addition, from a physical exam she determined she could only see 2 teeth that needed to be pulled not the 8-12 the Dr. Schein at Coral Springs Pet Resort determined. Because I was not able to speak with a veterinarian when I picked up my dog from the non-anesthetic appointment I called to ask how Dr. Schein determined my dog needed so many teeth pulled based only on a physical exam. I was told Dr. Schein was busy and would return my phone call. To date she never has.

Great vet, I brought my foster Am. Bulldog puppy (Princess) here last minute on a Sunday who came from MDAS, literally covered in ticks from head to toe. I am very thankful they were open when they were because I was desperate., I had just spent two hours combing ticks off of her at the Miami Animal Shelter with a volunteer. When I brought her in she was seen by the vet techs, they took her blood and checked her gums which were white as paper. The vet techs told me she was extremely anemic and then proceeded to spend the last 20 minutes until closing picking the rest of the ticks off of her. They told me this was the worst tick infestation they have ever seen on a puppy, even after the two hours I had spent picking them off with a volunteer at the shelter. It makes me wonder where she was dumped. But anyways, I really wanted to thank this vet because they really didnt think she was going to make it through the night and prepped me up for an emergency overnight clinic in case she went in shock from having such low blood cells. Well now, Princess now named Julie is a healthy 54 lbs 10 month Am. bulldog! I wanted to thank you guys for saving her life, she would have went into shock or even died if you guys werent open on Sunday like most vets arent. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I feel bad that where Dr. Penny of the veterinarians works here. She is adorable, professional, and treats pet owners with respect. As opposed to the manager of this location who treats customers like garbage. My red tabby persian was treated at this place. And, i wanted it to continue going there for years. However, due to the mistreatment of the staff, especially the manager, who gave me a hard time to give me the date of service printout to bill my pets insurance. I told him that i would tell Dr. Penny about his bad attitude and service and he said he is her boss in a nasty way. It turned out they had my e-mail wrong. No apologies or nothing from this people. I would really encourage everyone who cares about the service to be aware of this type of treatment. In my case, i had to move on to another place where the treatment is better and the staff is willing to assist anyone who wants to submit an insurance claim for their pets courteously.

I do not think we will ever bring our puppy here again. We watched our puppy all throughout the day on the webcams, but found that most of the day she could not be seen. For about 3-4 hours, no dogs were in the open playing, were they stuck in kennels all day? Also, when we received our puppy back, she was soaked head to toe in her urine. Was the kennel so small that she had to literally lay in her own pee? And how long was she stuck in there for? Just had a bad feeling when we left, we wanted a place that would get some energy out and where she could play all day, but I feel like we paid for a service that just kept her in a kennel the entire day. Bummed.

I went to have my dog groomed for the first time. I did not bring the vaccination papers so the Manager called my veterinarian. She began to ask for my dog whole shot record. Everything was up to date until 2009 except the Bortella shot which is due 4 months from now. She then turned to me a stated, besides the $55 grooming fee for a 10lb Shitzu (Wow) she had to give my dog this $25 shot before they would groom her. How ridicules is that? They would have made my dog sick, took my money and it was not necessary. Please watch out for your pets. If you have a good Veterinarian , please consult with them before you let anyone else work on your animals.

We have high expectations and would never take (or leave) our beloved pup anywhere else. We have been going here for 3 years. Dr. Penny and the staff are all kind, polite and caring people. Our pup has special needs and they remember his issues and make sure he has everything he needs while in their care. We love that we can watch him on the computer while we are traveling and see that he is happy and playing with the other dogs. Our pup stays several times a year at the resort and it is always a positive experience. If you are nervous about leaving your furry baby--no worries. They will have fun and be treated like family until you return.
