We have been seeing Dr. Austin Strauch since 1986, and have always entrusted him with our dogs and cats. In fact, when we bred a couple of times over the years, our puppy people who lived in Dallas and Fort Worth would take their dogs to Dr. Strauch and as they have added new furry family members, they think so highly of him, they continue to drive to Highland Village to see him. The Staff is always friendly and conscientious and follow up. Dr, McCullough has taken good care of us on the rare occasion that we have seen him. Susan Pomroy, Practice Manager is always on top of everything and even takes care of my friends Ive asked to call her for advice with their dogs even though they werent a client. I cant say enough good things about AMCHV and Dr. Strauch.

We have been taking our animals to Animal Medical Center of Highland Village since we returned to Texas in 2006. The staff has always been helpful and courteous. Of course we do have our favorites but overall everyone is very nice and they all love animals. We take our cat to Dr. McCullough; she is 13 years and actually deals with him quite well. He has a very gentle way with her and never rushes her exam. Our lab goes to Dr. Strauch and he is great with her. The doctors always call us personally with blood test results and we really appreciate the extra care. The premises are spotless and we would not go elsewhere. If this office is convenient for you I would high recommend giving them a visit.

Took dog in...Doctor prescribed wrong medicine.Notified them of problem. Went back to get another medicine. They charged me again. Girl stated I did not pay for the first medicine it was a sample. I paid $70.00 for such. Manager called be. I explained the situation. She stated it was not the clinic problem and would do nothing. I went in. She called me a liar that the girl had never stated it was a sample. I ask to confront the person who told me such and she refused. Wrong medicine, lies, refused to acknowledge or accept what happen, no resolution. JUST POOR & UNPROFESSIONAL! Should avoid at all cost, if you want your dog to live!!!!

This is a great veterinarian clinic, Dr. Strauch was honest and knowledgable. All of the clinic assistant were friendly and seemed to have an adoration for animals. I was very impressed, I have been to several veterinarians in the area and they all have price gauged me for shots/vaccines/food/supplements that were unessecary for my dog. The doctor was informative and asked me questions about my dogs lifestyle to find out what was appropriate for her. After six years I am glad my dog has a veterinarian I trust and I will visit more than once!! Quick, helpful, and honest service, there is not much more I could ask for!

Over the summer my cat went into kidney failure. I didnt have a regular vet so after an expensive stay at the local animal ER, I brought her home and within a day she was sick again. My sister recommended Dr. Strauch. I called his office and they were able to get us in that day. The odds were not in our favor yet Dr. Strauch spent almost an hour with me getting me ready for what I knew was to come. He was very caring and informative. He was so nice and and helpful. The staff couldnt have been nicer. I highly recommend this place for all your pets medical care.

LOVE LOVE LOVE Animal Medical Center - I have always taken my pets there. I have an 18 year old Min Pin that has been a patient there from puppyhood - I have Pierce adopted several years ago, looks forward to visiting the Medical Center. I will be adopting another pup here soon and you can bet we will be making a visit to the Medical Center. Everyone is so polite and so kind to the animals...They always make sure they have time for you and whatever your needs are and are there in cases where comforting in needed. Love you guys!

I have been going to this vet clinic for several years and will continue to do so! The vets are all personable, knowledgeable, and so gentle and loving with all my babies. The receptionists provide outstanding customer service and are very welcoming. As a former vet tech if 11 years I know what to look for when it comes to excellent vet care and Animal Medical Center certainly fits the bill. I will continue to bring my babies to this clinic even though I live on the other side of Lewisville. They are well worth the drive!

We have seen Dr. Strauch at Animal Medical Center of HV for 30 years now. He has taken care of all our animals with great love and knowledge. He is brilliant and always knows every answer to our questions. He has always been available, day or night, good times and sad times. We would never consider seeing another vet. The gals in the office are loving, caring and giving. They greet us with a smile and love our animals too. This place is truly the best and I highly recommend it to everyone who is blessed with precious pets!

We moved back to TX after retiring in 2003 and began taking our dogs to the Highland Village Animal Medical Center on the recommendation of several dog-loving-neighbors. Our Vet is Dr. Austin Strauch. We have been very pleased with his services, his care for our pets and his obvious love for dogs. The Centers entire staff are simply great, too. Based on our experience we are highly likely to continue taking our babies to this clinic. We highly recommend the Highland Village Animal Medical Center.

During that time, in a very professional manner, the vets and their assistants, through the many years, have worked with probably 15 of our dogs/cats (yes, we love our pets) and demand the very best. Dr Straugh and Dr McCullough have taken care of several dogs for us for almost 15 years. They have been wonderful to work with and most of our dogs have actually enjoyed visiting the vet because of the kind and compassionate care they receive here. All the staff both the tech and front office staff have been terrific. Cant say enough good things about this team...I highly recommend them!

We have had several of our pets that have lived their entire lifespan getting their care from the Animal Center. They are the very best. Trusting a vet with your pet is akin to trusting a doctor with your child. The entire staff at Animal Medical Center of Highland Village is worthy of that trust. Ive never felt pushed to do something and they work with you to give the best options for you and your fur baby. They show great care for all of their patients. I recommend them without any hesitation.
