It can be difficult finding a reliable rabbit vet that knows what they are doing. One of mine had an ear infection that needed to be addressed immediately. I called my normal vet but they were unavailable. They referred me to Family Pet Clinic. When I called the receptionist was very friendly and told me they had spots open for the day. She asked if it was an urgent situation and when I told her it was she squeezed me in earlier in the day. They have one vet who rotates through all of their locations who is familiar with rabbits. I dont remember her name but she was extremely friendly and helpful. She confirmed my rabbit had an ear infection and even took the time to show me through her magnifying thing what the problem was. She went over in detail the course of action necessary to treat my rabbit. She made up an antibiotic solution with a strawberry mixture so my bunny would actually take it. They walked me through giving the treatments in full detail. The vet said that it would take time and to monitor her to make sure she was improving. She said if I had concern or things looked like they were getting worse to come back in and we would take a more drastic approach that at this time she didnt think was necessary. After a few weeks of daily antibiotics and ear drops she was back to her normal self. I think I paid something around $120-140 for the visit and the two prescriptions. That price seemed pretty reasonable to me compared to other vets Ive used. All in all I was very happy with the experience. My bunny and I thank you.

Excellent Clinic with brilliant staff. I rescued a 6-year old English Bulldog that was neglected. She required a thorough exam, x-rays and labs. I was very anxious with making sure my Georgia Mae had the best care I could find. I found it! I am wholly impressed with the Doctors and Technicians. They knocked the first impression out of the park! They not only lovingly and carefully treated Georgia Mae, but also all my worries and concerns for Georgia to have the most quality of life possible given the situation she was rescued from. While I received her x-ray and exam results while at the Clinic and a treatment plan for those results, I too, received a very courteous and professional phone call by a Doctor when her lab results came in. Georgia has had to be seen several times since rescuing her on Valentines Day this year, and she loves going in. Georgia is thriving, and I am grateful to this Clinic. Thank you to Dr. Loper, Dr. Gibbs, Dr. Kegel, Whitney, Katie and Natalie! If youre looking for exceptional care as I was, this is it.

We found Family Pet Clinic of Grapevine online and took two of our cats in today for their "Walk in Wednesday" where they offer half price visits. The clinic was neat and clean, and we were greeted by a very friendly gal at the front desk. Im sorry I cant remember her name! The vet tech (Whitney) was AMAZING! So friendly and knowledgeable about care and handling of cats! Dr. Wallace was friendly and gentle with our kitties, and performed a very thorough physical exam on both of our boys! We were VERY impressed! She explained their conditions and how to treat them in terms we could understand, and bottom line - we were not charged an arm and a leg for top notch veterinary care. No unnecessary tests, which we commonly have encountered with previous vets! Best vet in town in our opinion! Highly, highly recommend!!!

Caring, competent, far less expensive than my VCA vet ... I am so grateful I found this clinic ... I have 7 dogs so they are a lifesaver for me. In addition to their awesome price schedule, they are thorough and they care about their patients and owners. I am completely happy with everything related to my several visits to this Clinic. Staff is awesome. One of my rescue dogs is very fearful of vet care, and they tried to take blood from her but she panicked to the point of almost hyperventilating. The response from the vet: "No charge for her. We can recommend a medication that will calm her for her next visit if you wish, so that we can treat her without stressing out either her or you." How awesome is THAT?

Horrible experience. Why do you take appointments? To get your pet checked at a particular time on a busy Saturday morning. While we took an appointment for 10:20, we reached there at 10. Patiently waited till 11 at which point asked the receptionist for any update as we are already 40 mins past the appointment time. Only to be told we are not sure, its Saturday so, we are busy, it could still be few more minutes. And that was the end of it and we left. When you take an appointment you expect to be seen within 10-15 mins of the appointment time. If delayed, we expect to be informed accordingly. On top of all this when you ask after 55 mins of wait you expect a polite answer not the attitude. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED !!

This is a wonderful vet clinic with very caring and kind people. Dr. Ford is the BEST! I have taken two of my sick chickens to him (yes they are pets) and he is so calm and comforting and knowledgeable! Im sure he is this way with all pets! If you have chickens, and you take yours to the vet like I do, then I highly recommend Dr. Ford. They do have another chicken vet, a lady, but I just havent had a need when she was on staff. I am sure she is just as good. Fabulous group of people, even stayed late for me one night when I had an emergency and we had to put my chicken down, they were in no hurry to get me out the door. They are the BEST! LOVE THEM!!!!

I love this clinic. The staff is kind, knowledgeable, and quick. The doctor who saw my Yorkie helped us throughly and quickly. I loved them so much I brought my cat in 3 days later. Dr. King was gentle with my skittish feline and was understanding and patient as we tested her for everything (including blood draw). The price for all the services was reasonable and they gave me a printed estimate before providing services. Although I cant get everything we need for the cat today, they are happy to work with me to split up my visits and spread out the cost.

My dog was very sick & needed surgery. They were very gentle with him and the price was reasonable. To no fault of theirs, we became sick again about 2 months later with the same kidney issues and we sadly had to put him down. They made that process as smooth as possible, he enjoyed going there and he took his last breath there. The entire staff is very sweet, always made him feel like they were so happy he came to visit! We now are owned by another rescue, and even though we moved 40 mins away, we will continue to go to Family pet clinic. ~Rachel

110% satisfied with my visit and the visit my husband had 6 months ago. Our two cats (sisters) are 11 months old, I brought both in after discovering swelling on ones lip and feeling like I better get professional feed back on the others weight (and have her on hand in case the swelling was in any way contagious). During both visits our concerns were completely met and the staff was there to listen, and help. The price was very reasonable, especially considering the quality of service! I highly recommend!
