NOTE: This is an old review - done in 2012, but still applies!!! Great Vets and Staff! Recently our little Pom Zeekie became quite ill with a pretty severe case of pancreatitis. I contacted our regular vet and was informed that they were too busy to see him and we could take him to emergency vet service if we thought it was necessary. Needless to say, I was extremely disappointed in that response. Out of desperation, I tried Crossroads Animal Hospital, thinking that just this once, I would bite the bullet and try Crossroads once more. Imagine my delight and surprise when they told me to bring Zeekie right in and they would work him to see Dr. Minton, THE NEW OWNER AND VET AT CROSSROADS! I had to wait about 45 minutes since I was a work in, but as soon as Dr. Minton took over, I knew I had found a gem! She is caring, concerned and thorough! And talk about efficient! She diagnosed Zeekies Pancreatitis immediately and laid out a plan of treatment that I knew from past experience with Crossroads was going to cost me an arm and a leg. To make a long story short, Zeekie was hospitalized for two nights and three days had IV fluids going constantly. along with all sorts of meds and to our delight and SURPRISE, the bill was a great deal less than we had expected OR paid previously at a different vet. And, most importantly, Zeekie was not just thrown in a kennel and administered to by techs, he was talked to, petted, held, and loved on like he was one of their own animals. Granted, he was a very unhappy camper about the whole thing, but regardless of his attitude, we were delighted in the care he received. And, the good news is Zeekie is recovering nicely from his bout of pancreatitis! Also, while he was there, Dr. Minton was suspicious of his thyroid being out of whack and with our permission, ran the required blood tests and Yep, sure enough, it was. In spotting that problem and correctly diagnosing and treating it, our little Zeekie is pretty much back to his old self and really looks good! Scott was impressed enough that he decided to take Lucky in for Dr. Minton to take a look at him. She very carefully and quite accurately determined that Lucky was suffering from some pretty bad gum disease and had some teeth that needed to come out. We proceeded to have her do the work and to our delight and Luckys, his mouth is MUCH, MUCH, MUCH better, his breath is fresh and best of all, his tail is wagging again! I noticed that while Zeekie was hospitalized, a neighbors cat, Fluff, was also being treated. Since the neighbor no longer drives, I wondered how Fluff arrived there. I was almost knocked over when I was advised that it is a service they offer! A pick up and delivery of your pet to their office!!! Dr. Minton will call you and advise what, if any, treatment is necessary for your furry kid, the estimated cost, the projected outcome and when you can expect your pet home! The pickup and delivery fee is only $25.00 and is added to the whole bill. If you find yourself needing Vet Services for your pet, PLEASE give Dr. Minton a try! She is really awesome!

Once again I have been in to see the vets and staff at Crossroads. One life saved by them and several sick kitties diagnosed and treated properly. I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Minton, Dr. Lewton and the entire team there. Wouldnt take my kitties anywhere else!!! I just would like to add....This is the best vet in town!!! Let me add to my review...I have been a client at Crossroads for 30 years now. I do animal rescue and am in and out of there several times a week. I have always found the Vet and staff to be very friendly and caring. Dr, Minton is absolutely wonderful and has brought many new things to Crossroads including helping me with my rescue kitties. They treat all kitties I bring in as if they are their own. They treat me like I am a member of the family as they do all clients. I find they care about the animals they treat and work with all their clients to keep the charges as low as possible. I would not go anywhere else with my babies. I trust them implicitly!!!! Dr. Minton has saved more than one of my kitties from the brink of death and they have gone on to lead full happy lives! I wish to take this time to thank everyone at Crossroads for the excellent care you provide my own kitties as well as all the rescue kitties I have brought to you for help in vetting them and getting them well or keeping them comfortable til their final time comes. God Bless all of you. I have been a client at Crossroads for 29 years and have always had the best of care for my pets over the years. Would not go anywhere else. They actually do treat my pets as if they are their own!!!! I have been there for 3 owners...each one has their own way of doing things and each has been excellent. The new owner is Dr. Christina Minton and she is a gem!!! She has brought in new equipment to help minimize having to be referred to a specialist although it may still be necessary at times. She truly cares about every pet that comes through the door as well as their owner. She included me in every step of my individual pets care (i have 4 pets) including allowing me to be hands on at times. The staff remains the same since Crossroads changed hands and, as always, they are excellent. Always have nothing but your pets best interests at heart and they do it with a smile no matter how busy they may be. They all go above and beyond the call of duty from greeting you when you walk in the door to offering you something to drink while you wait, throughout the entire time you are there and when needed...even help you out to your car with your beloved pet. I could not imagine going anywhere else!!!! Thank you Dr. Minton and staff....you are the best!!!!

I just sat down to write a wonderful review of Crossroads Clinic and its Owner Dr. Minton. Before I started, I read the other reviews offered on Google and I felt an obligation to give a more thorough write-up than I had anticipated. Along with others here, I have a lot to say. I have lived locally for over 35 years. I have experiences with almost all of the veterinary clinics in the area. There is a reason I continue to bring my animals to crossroads for all of their health needs. I have been a member of this veterinarians community for almost a decade, with four separate animals. I have experienced nothing but professionalism from caring people, each and every time I have been here. Recently this establishment changed ownership. I honestly didnt notice, until I found myself here reading others reviews. I personally have had only great experiences with Dr. Kennedy. In dealing with Dr. Minton, Ive experienced the same degree of professionalism, discipline, and accuracy. I only learned that Dr. Minton took over for Dr. Kennedy here, I just thought she was a great addition to the team. The staff remains the same, and the level of care that this clinic offers has not been compromised. I have had over thirty separate interactions with this clinic. We have experienced the full range of service - From introducing a new puppy into our family, buying specialized food here for our "Rescue" who is allergic to Everything! (He rescued us) - all the way to the final visit offered to our 18 year old Boston Terrier, (and best friend...) I can say with certainty that the level of care and professionalism that is offered by this clinic is second to none, and that the Doctor and staff here truly appreciate their community. It is a genuine thing when the staff remembers the little details of each individual client and their numerous family members. They always surprise me with their ability to recall all of the quirky things about my dogs. I hope that the negative review on this webpage doesnt sway you from giving your animal the opportunity to have such a caring institution provide for your family. I have been a client through the recent change of ownership. The level of care has only increased over the years. Good Job - Crossroads! Thank you for your care and attention to all of our family members. Our most recent visit here was one of the most important weve had. Its the reason I am here writing this review. - See you soon ;).
