The Vets are very well trained and great to work with. I have absolutely no complaints about them. I have always had problems with the vet techs and receptionists however. The receptionists have been rude to me every time Ive been to their office. They have been rude on the phone. It hasnt mattered whether or not they are busy, they cut me off, ignored me, or otherwise treated me like I have the plague. When they moved to their new building I asked for a tour and a vet tech came up to take me around. She out rightly told me that other boarding facilities (she named them) in the area are unsafe and essentially tried to use scare tactics to convince me their place is the best. I also asked about their kennel food, they feed Royal Canin. I asked if it had corn and/or wheat in it (I knew that Corn was the number one ingredient in that food, and incidentally, an unhealthy filler which is a common allergen to dogs) and she told me she didnt know. She brought a bag upfront for me to see the ingredients and I pointed out that corn is the first ingredient, she told me that it was ok because there wasnt a lot of corn in it (ingredients are listed from most to least prevalent, so what she told me was either a lie to shut me up or complete ignorance). So, in summation. If I only had to see, talk, and meet with the vet, I would love to go there forever. But, unfortunately, the vets have surrounded themselves with rude and incompetent people and I wont be returning.

I noticed Angel initially just as a drive by. It is quite stunning from the road, its such a beautiful building! So when it was time to take our cat Bella in for her 2nd annual round of shots, I couldnt wait to try this place out. LOVE it. I couldnt wait to get a puppy, and of course as soon as we did, we brought Zander in too. We are in A LOT lately, and yes, A LOT of our money goes to them. But I love my pets, and I love the care they get here. Dr. Hartai cares for our dog and we take our cat to Dr. Hassler. My questions have always been answered nicely and informatively, from both the Vets, Vet Techs, and Receptionists. The girls behind the desk always give Zander all kinds of loving when we are waiting for the vet! I have never felt pressured to purchase medicine or anything like that. They always print you a detailed bill so you know the "break down". I am a hairstylist and I tell all my clients where our vet is and how much I love Angel Vet Center. A few of my co-workers already take there animals here too! Give them a try, you will feel like this place is your second home. Thank you times a million for such a wonderful facility and staff to take care of my babies!

I have been to many different vets and this is the only one I trust. They are a little more pricey but, in my opinion, every extra cent was well-spent because I have had nothing but caring, kind, understanding, and honest people take care of my pets. A few years ago I had found out from another vet that my cat had FIV and they helped extend her life and quality of life and, when the time finally came for me to make one of the most painful decisions possible, the woman practically cried with me. They did the same for my boyfriends dog when we found out he had prostate cancer. I had tried taking my cat to other vets before going to Angel (because I am a college kid and dont have a lot of money), but I couldnt get the care or knowledge I felt we needed and deserved. I cant say enough about my experiences there. I foresee no reason for me to have to experiment with other vets so long as I live in the area.

I see that some people have had problems with the staff. I dont go there for the staff, I go because Dr. Lane is fabulous and I would put up with about anything for him to continue seeing my pets. I think the people that the other reviewer is referring to are now gone. I have never felt like meds were "pushed" on me. I have 4 dogs and I take them for regular check ups and when I have one not feeling well. Dr. Lane is conservative and has never given me meds that I felt were uncalled for. I had a young puppy who was pushed into the pool by my bigger dogs in the dead of winter. He went into shock and I rushed him there without calling in the middle of the day. The staff literally ran to get him and to the back. He would not be alive today if not for the care he got at Angel Vet.

I have had a negative experience with Angel Vet Clinic. I had to take my dog in on an emergency basis and I was troubled when they said that I couldnt be present when they treated the dog. The tech said they had to have two or three people hold him down for the shot and I was surprised because our normal vet doesnt have any problems administering a shot. I couldnt get into our vet because it was the weekend. I considered boarding the dog there but when I priced out the "package" I found that it was very expensive. Very nice place but overpriced and I just didnt get the feeling that it was trustworthy place.

My visit to Angel was more professional than some of my own doctors appoitments have been. The technician was extemely knowlegable and answered any question we had with great detail. Unlike most vet visits I did not feel rushed or pressured into any unessasrry expense. Dr. Lane was very friendly and gentle with our kitten. We are going to have both cats spayed and nuetered there, and plan on taking our pitbull to them. If your under 30 and dont like older people. Dr lane was great, cool and down to earth. Highly recomend Angel, well worth thier reasonable prices.

Wonderful. Our dog had a sudden issue that we and others thought was terminal. Dr Romo reviewed her first and came up with the right initial assessment. Dr Stanley was assigned for both a removal surgery and further tests. The bottom line, our pet is cured, her recovery was minimal. They gave us great confidence throughout the process. Could not have found a better clinic and we will be certain to return.

I wouldnt take Jennas review seriously-- check out her other reviews. I have only had very pleasant experiences here. The receptionists are polite and friendly and the doctors have always answered my questions. My only con is that they are a bit pricey, but I visit the Mobile Pet clinic on Main Street in Lewisville for my pets regular shots. I definitely would recommend Angel Veterinary Care!

We have been going to Angel Vet for 3 years. Lets just say weve had one of our pets misdiagnosed and given unnecessary treatments that have now caused lifelong problems, another misdiagnosed and a critical health problem undetected, and a third pet diagnosed with a serious disease that turned out to be simple food allergies. My pets can no longer afford to see the unskilled vets at this place.
