I dont even know where to begin, I adopted a cat from Grapevine Animal shelter in Oct, Took her in to get checked out at Banfield was diagd with Kitty herpes.. Get her treated, couple weeks later try to take her in to TCAP to get her shots,fixed, and bloodwork.. Get denied because of the virus... Flashfoward to Jan 01 2013 Itsy hadnt eatten in over a week, pooped, done much of anything.. but sleep.. We take her to the banfield, and they keep her for the day.. 5 hours.. at least.. Later get a phone call telling us that she had roundworm (with no signs of it), and she was dehydrated (which she was). Get rushed out the door not explaining the mass in her belly, offering xrays to see what the mass in her belly was, ANYTHING of the sort hell we didnt even get the paperwork from her ridiculous diagnosis . They gave her poison for the the apparently invisible and magical roundworms she had.. and a script to pepto... to a cat.. who hasnt taken a crap in over a week....REALLY??? I call them the next day.. she hadnt changed. She was even worse.. Got put on hold for 15 minutes.. at least.. then they pick the phone up ask that they be allowed to call back, I offered to bring her in, and they stated, No we are to busy make an appt. Still havent received that phonecall.. 1/3/13 Shes still getting worse, still no phonecall, nothing.. I contact VCA Angel Clinic of Flowermound. They invite me free of charge to see her. The vet that was with her.. spent 5 min compared to banfields 5 hours... and diagnosed her with luekemia and LIVER FAILURE.. She suffered.. even more because of the meds they put in her.. for two days... didnt answer my cries for help.. and charged me 100 dollars to kill her quicker.. My cat is dead now.. VCA was amazing to me.. and Banfield/Petmart has lost business from me and ANYBODY else I can talk to and get this out to.. They are about the money and not the animals. Any vet would have caught that, that saw them as a being instead of dollar signs..

We have been using Banfield for our animals for over 3 years now. We have both our Huskies on the wellness plans, but also bring out cats. We have visited the one at Alliance and the one in Flowermound and while they have all been really nice, I just really love everyone at the Southlake location. Everyone Ive encountered is extremely nice and welcoming. I dont usually write reviews, but I saw the review from the girl who said that the Southlake location was the worst and I just had to stick up for them. Yes, shes correct that you can only bring in 2 animals at a time for an appt., but the way I solved that for me was I did a drop off with my cat one morning before work and then picked him up after work and then had a regular appt with both of my dogs together, so it was no big deal. Ive dealt with Dr. G and Dr. Leonard the most and they are amazing, but the other doctors weve also seen have also ALL been extremely nice and caring, so we have absolutely no complaints.

This is literally the WORSE banfield location Ive ever had to deal with. FYI - you arent allowed to have more than TWO animals. Why?! If they all get fleas Southlake wont give a flip! Theyll tell you tough luck and you cant bring them all in at once, oh and wait.... Thats a week after you book the appointment. Not only that- the Vet and his helpers are RUDE and I uneducated. Come on.. Youre located in SOUTHLAKE get it together! If you want a good Banfeild the one off Alliance, and the one in Flowermound are your best bet. I forgot to add that all my animals are on the banfield pet insurance. So you can go ahead and add that to the pile of crap this place is.

Very nice and friendly staff. Kept me updated on a change of the appointment so the Doctor could spend more time with my dog. Very well educated and informative. Loved the staff. Very gentle with my dog. Definitely recommend this place and will be coming back!

By far the best place I have ever taken my dog. The staff is absolutely amazing. They truly care about each pet that comes in. I can never put into words how awesome the Southlake staff it. Highly recommend.

I was very unhappy with the vet this time. No followup call afterwards, my dog came in for retinue checkup and came out sick. Vet kept my dog there longer then needed to be.
