Picard Dental Associates is a hidden gem in Woonsocket, RI. Dr Joel has been taking care of my familys dental health for my entire adult life and he has been great. He and his staff are top-notch, and the office environment is very warm and comforting. I really appreciate Dr Joels attention to detail and his knowledge of all the current technologies. He uses the latest tech and techniques to create the best experience possible for his patients. I am pretty particular person, so having someone as detail oriented as Dr Joel is something I seek and respect. He takes the time to explain any upcoming procedure so that you are well informed and can relax. As adults now, our children certainly have the option of choosing another practice, but they are so pleased that they continue to see Dr Joel and his associates for all their dental needs. Everyone in the office - the administrators, the dental assistants, the hygienists - are all extremely competent and very friendly as well. They all make a trip to the dentist a pleasant experience. If you are looking for a new dentist, or changing dentists, I highly recommend Picard Dental Associates.

I have only been to Picard Dental twice so far but each time has been such a pleasant experience! My first appointment was to meet with Dr. Picard and evaluate my teeth / review my goals for my teeth. He was very pleasant and informative. The whole staff made me feel very comfortable from check in to check out. My second visit was for a cleaning (With Michelle) She was fantastic! She made sure that I was comfortable the entire time and always asked / explained the process before going on to the next step. They also did a few fillings at this appointment (lucky for me there was a cancellation and the doctor offered to do them that day!) I was very cautious about it at first. One of the girls went over all costs and best options for me which I really appreciated. She even called my insurance to see what they would cover!! When it came to the procedure itself Dr.Picard was FANTASTIC! I didnt feel anything! For anyone who is looking for a new dentist I HIGHLY recommend this office. The whole staff is incredible and I can finally feel comfortable getting dentistry!

I have been a patient at Picard Dental Associates for about 3.5 years. I was referred to Dr. Picard by my periodontist. I could sense from the first visit that Dr. Picard and his staff were top notch and I found the right place to handle my case, which was an implant and crown. Throughout the process, the entire office was always friendly and welcoming. One of the things that has always stuck out with me, was that Dr. Picard would always call me the night after any procedure he had done on my case earlier in the day. My father in-law, who was a retired dentist and specialized in crown and bridge cases, often commented throughout the process that he could tell I was in very good hands. Even though the office isn’t that close to our house (Attleboro), my wife and I have since become full time patients for all our dental care at Picard Dental Associates.

We’ve been patients of Dr. Joel since the 2000. We continue to use his dental practice based on several factors. First and foremost, the quality of his work is excellent. Dr. Joel continues to keep up with new dental technologies, techniques and procedures. His office is current with new technologies to bring excellent care to his patients. The office staff is highly skilled, helpful, polite and courteous. We have recommended local family members to go to Dr. Joel for their care as well. While we have moved since our initial visits, we continue to make the 60 mile, a one hour trek, to Woonsocket knowing that we will get excellent dental care. We highly recommend Dr. Joels dental practice.

Ive been to Picard Dental recently for a filling replacement, as well as a permanent crown and before that, a temporary crown. I also go there regularly for cleanings. I found the staff extremely friendly and accommodating, as well as using my name when addressing me at all times. Dr. Picard is wonderfully thorough in his explanation of processes and has a gentle way about him while performing his work. Its interesting to hear how he is such a patient teacher to those assistants working with him who are in training. Overall its a very professionally run office with a nice homey feel. My family often feels the same way.

I had an insane fear of the dentist which had me stay away for far too long. I decided to conquer my fears and go get a cleaning. I knew I would need a few fillings and Dr. Picards office was nothing but friendly and calming. After referring me to get my wisdom teeth out (especially one that had broken but wasnt bothering me), i procrastinated. When the broken one started to hurt and i was starting a new job, they fit me in to help me with it. They were fast, efficient, and the friendliest people you will ever meet!

I have been going to Dr. Picard for approximately 6 years and have nothing but praise for Dr. Picard and his wonderfull staff. One of his impressive qualities is after a patient has had dental work, he never fails to call that night to check on the patients status. Other dental professionals have seen the work he has done for me and I have yet to hear one of them say it was less than impressive! I highly recommend Picard Dental Associates to anyone looking for a dentist or contemplaitng switching to someone new.

We all know that going to the dentist can be a scary thing. However, from the moment you walk into Dr. Picards office that fear disappears. Everyone, including the receptionist, hygienist and the Doctor make you feel welcome and comfortable. They take the time to explain everything they are going to do for each visit. I have been a patient of Drs. Picard since i was 3 years old, that was 60 yrs ago. Always worked with my insurance, always helped me choose the right treatment with an eye to the future, friendly staff, and clean bright surroundings. I have been going to Dr. Picard for years and have had nothing but wonderful experiences. It is not easy to find a such a professional who does great work in such a friendly and comfortable environment, but that is exactly what Dr. Picard provides. I recently visited him to fix a problem with one my molars and the result was just as I imagined. I will never let anyone but Dr. Picard take care of my dental needs!
