Ive been a patient at Fairwood Vision Clinic for 4 years and though the Doctors there seem ok, my experience with the office in general has been horrible. Several times when Ive made an appointment and arrived on time as I always do, Ive been told they dont have me on their books and had to wait over an hour. One time I was left in the room for about 45 minutes before the doctor came in...and that was after I walked out irritated that no one had come back yet. Supposedly, the doctor didnt even know I was in there waiting! When you call them, you have to call back several times because no one calls you back. The only reason I went there is because I liked the doctor, but thats not enough anymore! Ive been wearing my current contact lenses for approx. 4 years, based on the recommendation from the doctors there. Everything was great once I actually got them....I had been told I would receive a call when they come in but twice did not and had to call them myself and was told, oh ya they came in last week. The last couple of boxes Ive ordered Ive had problems with. The lenses keep tearing and though this is not their fault, it isnt mine either. Once they reluctantly replaced the pair that literally ripped in my eye while I was wearing them. And, this week again...actually the second time with this particular box...they ripped again. I called the so-called Contact Lense Expert Julie and was told basically that weve gone over this before and that Ive had my box for 8 months and that the last time this happened I had my box for 8 months. I felt she was implying that I was trying to get something for free. She said Im wearing them too long and dont I know they are only a 1 month wear? She completely disregarded the fact that I wear glasses as well and that the pair that just disintegrated in both my eyes, were only 2 weeks old, and that next time I should get a different kind. Lenses will last longer than the 6 month wear if you are not wearing them everyday, Julie....you should know this if you are in charge of the lenses. First of all, when I first started wearing lenses to begin with the doctor told me that if ever one rips they would replace it for me and second, if these are the wrong lenses for me the so called Contact Lense Expert should have recommended something else last year when the problem first arose. Meanwhile, Ive already paid a good amount of money for the ones I have now and havent gotten complete use out of them. I hung up the phone frustrated that she put this back on me and wouldnt do anything about it. So I called back for the manager.........that was 2 days ago, and I have not received a call back. My eyes still hurt from having both my lenses tear in my eye the same day! I suggest if you want to feel like someone cares for your well-being, that you go somewhere else that is more professional and they actually no what they are doing! I know I will!

The clinic owner Doctor Edward Kosnoski is a very nice guy; good communication, thorough exam, very personable. However, HONTZ, JESSICA E is NOT worth your time, she is only interested in your money. Go visit them on the Better Business Bureaus website, there are similar complaints that have already been filed. As a doctor, HONTZ, JESSICA E does not explain anything, she is a poor listener; she spends minimum time with patient. After she got what she wants (a reason to bill you for more money), she will avoid you. I will not go back to this place. 2 months after my eye exam; I still have NOT receive a new glasses prescription; the things I got from her are frustrations and the unexpected medical bill. I was in for a routine eye exam but was billed for a lot more..... One of the items is the "Fundus Photos", if it was not part of the routine eye exam. Why did not HONTZ, JESSICA E advice the patient and ask for permission before she takes the photo? I did not request it nor have the budget for it, and obviously I did not benefit from this service. I totally understand that she was determined to find a "medically condition" so she can get more money, but if the routine eye exam cant find a medical condition, any further service she should get my permission first.

The service was ok. Everyone was very nice… BUT…. I did not know it was legal to charge for glasses that made your vision worse. It is and Fairwood Vision Clinic did. I tried to tell them that I could see better out of my old glasses and could not ware the new glasses because I need to use a computer all day. The prescription is the prescription, even if it doesn’t work for you. Whatever happened to delivering a product that is correct of form, fit and function for its intended use? I guess that doesn’t apply to prescription glasses. My insurance reimbursed most of the money, but save your time and money and go somewhere else where they care if the product being sold is useable.

I went to Kosnoski Eye Care (on 176th) somehow this listing is linked to this business. I noticed a few old negative reviews before going to visit this optometrist. I just want to say that I dont agree with those people. I am still thinking about the great experience I had yesterday with them, from start until finish. The ladies who work the front office are awesome and hilarious (I didnt get their names and I feel bad), Heather was EXTREMELY helpful and Dr. Choi was very professional, patient and kind. I randomly stumbled upon this place but let me tell you - I am happy I did.

Went here with my 5 year old daughter and after exam was just told she needed glasses. Nobody in my family wears glasses so Im not familiar with eye issues or terminology. I asked for some type of print out to explain her vision problems but was never given one. Instead they shuffled us to the front room and tried to have us buy a $300 pair of glasses. Not helpful with insurance. In the end I had them give me the prescription and bought glasses elsewhere. Still looking to see another Dr office who caters to pediatric eye care.

Whenever youll be considering to get a new pair of glasses from Kosnoski Eye Care beware, on top of the regular optometric services (which is usually covered by your vision insurance) they may consider charging you for the "Comprehensive Exam, Medical", which will be coordinated to your primary medical insurance and likely cost you some extra money. Remember, you have already gave your consent for that (and who knows which else) extra service when you signed their service agreement.Really bad service by Kosnoski Eye Care.

Heather at Fairwood Kosnoski EyeCare was very rude and unprofessional. She came in the middle of my eye exam when my eyes were dilated and made me to sign some bills. "If you dont pay this amount today you wont get your glasses prescription", - she said.Id suggest that you need to work on your customer service skills!
