The doctors and staff at Overlake EyeCare are the best!!! I have interacted with Drs. Boparai and Coday. I have nothing but nice things to say about them. They have helped our family and extended family for many years. We appreciate that they treat all their patients with kindness. We appreciate that when a family member has had an emergency, there was no "we cant see you attitude". This attitude of "we will take care of you everyday and especially during an emergency " is why we keep coming back. The clinicians are very knowledgeable, and we get it when they are running a little behind, because they are the go to eye doctors for Bellevue when you need help! We as a family get it when were not seen immediately because we have been on the other side with an emergency of our own causing the delay. The doctors and staff work very hard and the people who complain about a wait have either never had an emergency medical condition of their own or they are so self centered that they cant think about anyone but themselves.

Im writing to make you aware of some fraudulent activities going on in this practice. Especially in billing practices. I went in specifically for an exam to get an eyeglass prescription. Ive been wearing contact lenses for many years and had developed a nasty infection due to the long hours in contacts. The doctor seemed to support my decision to switch to glasses. Told me that there were some other contact brands which might be better and asked me to come back for a fitting in a couple of weeks if I changed my mind. Gave me a free sample to test out at home. I was issued a prescription for eye-glasses, and not for the contacts. However, I got billed for both an eye exam as well as a contact prescription!!! Ive called several times to clear this up with the clinic and have met only rude and unhelpful staff who insists that I was fitted with contacts even if I was never informed by the doctor that he was performing that exam or if I was not issued a prescription!!!

Weve been seeing Dr. Barry and Linda for years. Our family has 2 adults and 4 children, all of whom wear glasses and/or contacts or have had Lasik. Thats a lot of eye appointments. Weve always had great experiences. Very professional and thorough.
