Like the emergencies section of Stanford Hospital, this area is by far not at the level of the funds granted to the hospital and to its overall reputation. I went through a sinus surgery during which my cornea was abrased because a nurse had forgotten to close properly one of my eye lids and it got dry. When I woke up in pain I was dragged out to the eye clinics where the personnel was laughing and talking to each other, absolutely unsinpathetic of my pain and of my fragile state after the surgery. One of them was constantly holding his hand over my freshly operated nose to adjust the eye equipement. I had to go to this place several times and then decided to visit a better place because those doctors seemed biased, like they wanted to minimize the consequences of the medical malpractice during the surgery. Moreover, they were quite sharp, the equipement was definately outdated and they didnt look very proffessional. If you need a good place for your eyes, try the eye clinic of UCSF.

Dr. Caroline Fisher by far is the most wonderful Professional opthamologist anyone could hope for. I have shared her name and bio with my family and colleges. Dr. Fisher is up for so many kudos from them all. The Beyer Institute is A beautiful well maintained and staffed campus easy to get to and has plenty of easy parking. Respectfully, S Ferrando
