My eyeglasses prescription was filled incorrectly in December 2016. After struggling seeing with my new eyeglasses for 2 weeks, I returned to the store to discover that my prescription was filled incorrectly by Klahanie Eye Care Center and had to have a new pair made. I stated to the store manager that I deserved an adjustment to the bill since it was their mistake that resulted in my inconvenience of not being able to see clearly for several weeks (think about driving with the wrong glasses). After getting nowhere with that, I asked to speak to the owner. The owner refused to speak/contact me regarding this. I have since had a second pair made at Costco & it was half the price even without the benefit of my EyeMed optical plan. **Bottom line: This place is incredibly overpriced (at least twice the price) for the same quality that you can get at Costco and other competing chain optical stores. Almost all optical stores send their eye glass prescriptions to the same labs to be processed, unless they have a lab on site. This was terrible customer service by the owner of this business.

I just moved to Issaquah and I found this office by doing a Google search. I for sure made the right choice! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in getting me registered. From there I was seen right away! No wait time! I was first seen by Kelly who did an awesome job at taking optical photos and testing my eyes. Dr. Erickson then did very thorough eye exam and was very informative about my eye care options. He even discovered that I have a slight astigmatism in my left eye and offered a few options to help correct it! Not only that, but he has a fun-loving personality and seemed to really care about me as a patient. (Which in my opinion, is rare to find these days!) I was then checked out by Lyndsie who filled me in on my eyewear options and even informed me of what my insurance would cover. Strangely this has been the only eye care center to ever sit down and review that with me! My overall experience was fantastic and I would strongly recommend you see Dr. Erickson and his staff for your next eye appointment!

I called to make an eye exam appointment for my daughter (would be her first) with Dr. Juang back in December and the lady on the phone helped schedule an appointment for 10 am on January 6. We went there this morning and were told that there was no appointment ever made for my daughter whatsoever. The guy at the front desk said he was able to find my daughters name in the system but there was no record of any appointment. I never rescheduled or cancelled and the fact that they had my daughters name in their system proved that whoever answered the phone screwed up. I understand that people make mistakes, but the guy at the front desk was not the least sympathetic or apologetic. He kept saying "I dont know what to tell you" in a way that makes it clear he thinks you are the idiot there. We never met the doctor but the staff usually represents how a business and service is run. Very disappointing experience.

I visited Klahanie Eye Care Center in December 2014 for an eye exam and to buy some new frames. I was very pleased with every aspect of my experience. For my eye appointment, the doctor was on time and efficient, but without making me feel like she was rushing to see her next patient. The people were genuinely friendly, helpful, competent, and well versed in my insurance plan. The store is nice, conveniently located, and has an impressive selection of frames. Lyndsie assisted me with frames and lenses. She was exceptionally helpful and patient, and she helped me choose frames and lenses that suited my needs and budget, without trying to upsell me. Overall, I had one of the best experiences that Ive ever had with *any* health care practitioner, and I recommend them without reservation.

I was looking for an eye doctor closer to home and my partner suggested I go to Klahanie Eye Care as he had just been there and had a good experience. I definitely made the right choice! The staff was extremely helpful in getting me registered and set up with an appointment. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of care, attention to detail, spent time with me to answer all my questions, and the overall friendliness of the entire staff. Dr. Erickson was wonderful! They also have a great selection of designer sunglasses and regular frames. I would highly recommended :)

My family and I have been going to this office for about seven years and continue to be overjoyed by the expertise and friendliness of the employees. They have a lovely selection of designer sunglasses and regular frames and the optical staff is extraordinarily apt at picking out just the right frame for you. Both the doctors (Michael Erickson, O.D., Jennifer Juang, O.D.) are professional and personable and make the eye exam enjoyable. I recommend both locations (Klahanie and the one in Lakemont) to all my friends and family.

I was very happy with the service I received. I went to see Dr. Juang on Nov. 23 (the day before Thanksgiving). Since I have special eye condition, it took much longer for the exam to be completed. The doctor as well as the staff all stayed longer until I finished my appointment (after their office hour) . Beyond that, Dr. Juang also spent some time helping me understand potential options to treat my special condition. I felt the service was great and I would recommend it to all my friends.

Its always a great experience at Klahanie Eye Care. Ive been going to see Dr. Jennifer Juang since I moved to the Seattle area in 2008. She and the staff at Klahanie are always very professional, but personal with every patient and help to make the best decisions on glasses and contacts. I now live in West Seattle, but cant imagine going to another eye doctor.

Saw Dr. Jennifer Juang and she was amazing, as was the rest of the staff. Ive never had a Dr. take so much time and be so friendly, yet efficient. I really appreciate that she took the time to explain things to me. To be honest, I never expected much from an eye visit but I even came home and told my husband how blown away I was by their service.

The entire staff is really friendly and helpful, and they make the entire experience great.
