I completely recommend River City Eyecare and Dr. Breeden for their professional service and knowledgeable staff. Not only do I need to see someone who is skilled and get the right prescription (considering I have a very difficult prescription to fill), but I really need a great honest connection with that doctor. Dr. Breeden provides that. I’ve been a customer since 2011. Also, It was really nice to see you again! Thank you for taking the time and going over my specific visual needs, and answering all my questions. These 4 1/2 years of going to River City Eyecare have really served me well. I will definitely keep seeing you for the rest of my life. Thanks again…

Back when I first moved to Portland, I went to River City at their clackamas location after having a terrible appointment with a previous dr who gave me an incorrect prescription. I had seen River City Eyecare accross the street from my allergist, found out they were in my network, and they helped me out! Flash forward to this year, I finally moved back into the area again and found out that they opened the NE portland location near my work! They have always been so friendly and helpful. They make the process very smooth and fun! They helped provide input of what frames best suited me. I dont think ill ever stop going here! Wonderful staff!

As a recent transplant to Portland I found a gem of a shop! It seemed like they had literally every style of eyeglass frame a person could want and their prices were awesome. The optician said they have the best prices in the city, so Im not going anywhere else. My favorites were the wild ones in the window that look futuristic and the frames that are wooden! So when I picked up my Evolutionart glasses I was ecstatic! I can see better than ever before and I look very stylin. Thank you Leslie you were great, Im going to recommend you to everyone!

I dont typically rate a business with such a high rating but Eyecare deserves it. They are professional and friendly. I am a new Eyecare customer and learned from the eye exam that I have cataracts in both eyes. So far I have had corrective surgery in one eye and the resulting change in my vision is stuning. My vision has improved to 20/20 and colors are now vivid. When you visit the center you will feel the friendliness right away.

The most unprofessional Eye doctor in the city of Portland. Went in for an exam in October. Tried to order contacts 2 1/2 months later and they wanted to charge me 75$ on top of another 95$. For something that was done not even a few months ago. On top of that the "optometrist" sent me to a specialist for no reason. Which cost more money in the end. I will not be going back. Im heading to Costco as we speak.

Kind and professional staff. We followed Dr. Breedin from her previous practice because shes so friendly and positive, really good at putting you at ease. The frame selection is small as some have said, but its well chosen, not a lot of filler.

While they carry many of the same brands as other shops in town, its the knowledge of the staff that sets them apart. Three other places combined couldnt tell me what they were able to figure out in minutes. Great place.

Great staff and Dr. Provost was extremely nice and competent. The Hollywood location is on the small size, but its great. I highly recommend this place and Dr. Provost!
