Ok so this is probably the first review ive ever written before but this is the only way i can seem to thank these people enough. So im new to atlanta, from California, and i had been struggling with a tooth ache for a couple months because i didnt have insurance out here in GA. I figured ill suck it up until i go back to CA, well that was a fail because the pain ended up being excruciating, sending me to my local emergency room twice. I was on pain pills and antibiotics for two weeks, trying to find a competent dentist to do a simple tooth extraction that wasnt going to cost me an arm and a leg. After finally getting a referral from a friend i called Value Smiles. Joanee (dont know how to spell it) was absolutely amazing. She comforted me on the phone (i was crying my eyes out), let me come in right away for an emergency appointment, and Dr.G pulled my tooth in less than thirty minutes of arriving at his office. Upon arrival, the Dentists assistant was friendly, comforting, efficient, and fast. I loved everything about the office and the staff. To TOP that, i felt like i was having a dry socket after my tooth extraction and i called them while their office was closed, Joanee called me back within a couple of hours and gave e a recommendation to another dentist i could go to right away, as well as Dr.G personally calling me to see what problems i was experiencing and how he could see me again for a post opp appointment since i was worried it wasnt healing right. I went in to see Dr.G again monday (he just pulled my tooth friday) and turns out i was just being paranoid but i am so so grateful that their response was quick and they showed sincere empathy towards my worry, allowing me to come in again on monday just to make sure it wasnt a dry socket. and going above and beyond with personally calling me and making sure i was ok and my mouth was healing fine. I recommend anyone and everyone to go see Dr. G. ( i saw him at Value Smiles and at Affordable Dental) I traveled from buckhead to lithia springs just to get my tooth extracted from Value Smiles.

I have never had a dental experience like this one. This was my second visit to Value Smiles. Like many people I hated going to the dentist. So, a made very few visits even tbough I had insurance. My first visit was a scaling and deep cleaning. Now, Ive had one of these before; hence the dread. I got to Value Smiles and the staff was wonderful. I told them that I hated the dentist, but looking a reviews by others aided in my decision to come. They considered my fears and numbing me extremely well. It was the first time I went to a dentist and it was not painful. My visit today was rhe result of an abcess. I had been down this road before, but with another dentist. Once again my anticipation was high. I went in the day after I called to let them know. These guys really know how to numb you up because I had to get an extravtion. I didnt even know when the tooth came out. They had to tell me. I dont think I spent no more than 30 minutes in the chair. If I did time flew by. Thanks Dr. G and the team at Value Smiles.

I dont like that an x-ray and cleaning has to be done in two separate appointments. The receptionist who answered the phone explained that the x-ray has to be done first in order for them to know whether to do a basic or deep cleaning. I get this logic but not everyone has available time laying around to be making multiple dentist appointments. Other places that I have been to have always done the x-ray and then the cleaning... in the same appointment. With a young toddler who needs my time for taking him to check-ups and sick visits, and my working 40+ hours a week, its always very difficulty for me to find available time to get my own check-ups done. Value Smiles seems good (according to the reviews) but I think that they need to be a little more accommodating to the average working persons schedule. Two separate visits is not really necessary in my opinion. If that ever changes, Ill visit and update my review accordingly.

What a miracle to find this dentist in the same area as the Publix shopping marketplace. Dr. Kim and his assistant, Betty are terrific and exceptional! From the moment I entered the office, the entire office staff made me feel comfortable. There are no hidden costs and all your x-rays and procedures are discussed and agreed upon prior to any work being performed. I was nervous since I needed an emergency wisdom tooth extraction. But Dr. Kim made it so easy and painless. I highly recommend this dentist and office for your next cleaning or procedure. The prices are about 1/2 of what youll pay anywhere else and they got me in the same day I called! This was a very positive dental experience! A great big Thank You to Dr. Kim, Betty and the entire staff at Value Smiles!

I am very weary when it comes to the dentist as I have had several bad experiences. However on this day I woke up in SEVERE pain. I mean not only was my mouth throbbing but the pain ran all the way up to my head and ear. I decided I couldnt take it anymore. After searching on Google I found Value Smiles. I called and the receptionist was very nice she listened and told me to come in right away. I did and from there the process was a breeze. Everyone was nice and patient with me. The dr came in and made his recommendation. He saw that I was in pain and told me that we would take it one tooth at a time. He gave me antibiotics due to infection and pain meds and I will return to begin the tedious process at restoring my mouth. I pleased with them so far!

Hey, If you want dental help, you need to go to Value Smiles at the Publics shopping center located at Hwy 92 & Lee Rd. I went there today, 5-31-16, and had no insurance. Well, I was hoping that my visit would NOT cost an arm & a leg. I had an x-ray of my troubled tooth for $49 and, then, I saw the Dentist, Dr Kim for $25. Dr. Kim was helpful in explaining what he saw from the x-rays. Also he was kind, listening to my tooth experiences, and honest. Come to find-out, x-rays revealed no problem so he did not try to sell me to spend any extra money. But he gave me a $6 prescription for medicine for a week to see if anything developed in 2 weeks- to 1-3 months. Dont spend the money if you dont need to spend it! Thanks VALUE SMILES, Rand Malmin
