I had a Filling done by Karen, and weeks later it fell out. Now this happens and I understand how easily a filling can fall out. The problem came when I tried to come into contact with her about getting it fixed. I called to schedule a appointment the day it fell out and spoke with the front desk lady(Jan). Jan tried her best to find a appropriate time for the filling and said she would speak with Karen Goulden. When she called me back Jan told me Karen refused to see me again unless I would accept a crown and the earliest time to get in was one month later. Also due to a previous billing issue she wanted me to pay upfront for the crown (thousands of dollars). She refused to talk to me personally about the issue and made the front desk lady Jan do the talking for her. I asked many times to speak with the manager and it got to the point where the dentist treated Jan and I very negatively. After seeing how easily she was to brush her own employees off I took my business elsewhere and got my filling done in two days.

The dental work is superb, and all employees are very friendly. The employee that handles billing has made a few errors on my routine visits, although after correcting them the second time, it was fixed right away. My only real complaint is they dont answer the phone very often, and they dont return voicemails (that they ask you to leave) until you start saying "this is the FOURTH day in a row Ive called..." Im not sure if their phone person is overworked or just not doing her job, but it reflects very poorly on an otherwise excellent dental office.

She really put me at ease and listened to my concerns. The atmosphere in her office is friendly and professional. I can now say that I am no longer afraid to go to the dentist and I know that I will get the best care from Dr. Goulden.

Dr. Gouldens office even worked to squeeze me into their schedule at times that worked best for me. A patient-first culture in the office.

Poor quality work and they do not stand behind it. Goulden installed a crown that disintegrated and fell out. Would not stand behind their work and fix it.
