My wife and I absolutely adore the staff at Eight Street Vet. We have been taking our cat there for years. We also had a terrible situation with our dog and could not be more grateful for the care and empathy that we received from Dr Bruce and his staff. We adopted an English bulldog and took her in for shots and skin issues. After just a few short months we discovered that she had kidney failure and had to be put down. Dr Bruce and the staff were so helpful to us in our difficult time. They made sure that we had the option to try everything we could and were kept informed the entire time. They made sure that we were sure that we were doing the right thing. They were there every step of the way and made sure to send us a lovely card after we put her down. I am very grateful for the care we receive at this Vet clinic. They really do care for the animals and they are great people.

How do you choose the right yet? Not an easy task. I spoke to family and friends, asked people on Facebook, looked at online reviews. We found 8Th Street Veterinary Care. I have used other Vet services before, but none as great, and none as reasonably priced as 8th Street Veterinary Care. So far we have made 3 visits to 8th Street Vet and ALL of the staff acted professional and treated our Gebo with love and respect. We were never treated like a number. The Doctors all possessed a genuine care for our cat, and handled Gebo with compassion. Our cat was very old and when it was time to say goodbye 8th Street Veterinary Care treated the matter with the greatest amount of respect. They did not rush us, they slowly explained the process, explained the options, and did everything with thoughtful respect and love. I would definitely recommend 8th Street Veterinary Care.

The rescue agency we adopted our first cat from already had her registered with Dr. Withers, so we decided to keep her there and took our new kitten there as well... we have not regretted for a moment! Dr. Withers is always very thorough and detailed, very good about explaining to us about what hes doing and why. Our kitten had a respiratory infection that had to be treated before we could spay her, and Dr. Withers made sure we knew the reasoning behind every decision and recommendation he made regarding our kittys health. The staff is always very genuine and takes a personal interest in the animals and their care. Not to mention, the prices have always been very fair. Granted we are new pet owners with not a lot of experience but we have never felt we were being overcharged or taken advantage of. All in all, you couldnt ask for more in a veterinary practice!

The doctors and support staff at Eighth Street Veterinary Care have lovingly cared for our pets for over 30 years. I feel that during our visit, our pet is the only patient they have. Appointments are always on time, examinations are very thorough, our questions are satisfactorially answered, and our pets are never stressed by the experience. Beyond the routine annual checkups and neutering operations, they have adminsistered expert critical care to our injured Golden Retriever and alley cat, guided us through the care of geriatric pets (one of our cats lived to 23 years and both of our Retrievers lived to 17) and supported and comforted us when it was time to make the decision to allow our pets to cross the rainbow bridge. 8th Street will always be our pets extended family.

Over the past 25 years plus, we have led, pushed, carried, and been dragged by a variety of cats and dogs into Eighth Street Veterinary Care. Our beloved pets, while usually in some protest, have always had the very best care. This care often began with their kitten or puppy stage, and progressed for years through until their senior stage and beyond. Likewise, the staff over the years, has been not only the most professional, but also very empathetic to the needs of the pet owner! I cannot give enough praise for this aspect of the clinic. I would highly recommend Eighth Street to anyone seeking out veterinary care for your pets. It is absolutely a grade A all around.

We and our dogs have been patients of Eighth Street Veterinary Care for almost 20 years. They are the most professional, knowledgeable, compassionate people we have ever had the pleasure to deal with. They are always available for questions, appointments, etc. We have had 2 dogs have surgery with 100% recovery. They have also been there for us when we have had to make the most difficult decisions a pet owner has to make. They have made that process as compassionate as you will ever find. In our opinion, they are the best at everything they do, the staff they have and their facility. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caregiver for their pet.

I am a breeder of Scottish Terriers. Dr. Withers has been our veterinarian for many years now. He is extremely caring and knowledgeable. He listens to our concerns and respects our knowledge of the breed. He keeps up-to-date and is willing to refer to specialists when necessary. He has handled several emergencies for us, one on Christmas Day, for which I will be eternally grateful. His staff is friendly, and very skilled. I am VERY particular about which veterinarian I use--Dr. Withers meets our VERY high and exacting standards. I cannot recommend him too highly.

Such a wonderful place! Dr. Withers was so kind when we had to make the choice to put our cat down. That type of compassion is needed and appreciated during such a hard time. There is no other vet I would rather take my pets to. Ive had to go on multiple occasions, and I never have to wait long. The office is very clean, and Miss Kitty is a wonderful greeter. The pricing is very reasonable, the staff are very nice, and the care my pets have received (both cats and dog) has been excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this organization to anyone.

Thank goodness for Eighth Street Vet Care. My Yorkie was treated at another clinic who was incredibly expensive and missed a potentially life threatening condition. When I took him to Eighth Street vet he was THOROUGHLY examined, his health conditions identified and immediately treated. The care was outstanding AND the cost was far less than my previous vet. It was obvious the entire staff truly cared about the well being of my dog. For that I am grateful and will be a life long client of Eighth Street Veterinary Care.

I will always take my pets here. They never teat them as numbers or that they have something better to do. They treat them as part of the family. I recommend this vet clinic to anyone that loves there pets. When someone tells me that they are worried about there dog or cat I tell them to go here. They are better then any vet office that I have been to and there have been a few. Prices are NOT even that bad. So if you love your pets you should bring them here. They will treat you all as family.
