Worst experience I ever had. I went through detox in Toledo Oh after the Death of my Dad. I got into drugs to ease the pain and had to goto treatment to get off of the Narcotics I was on, that was a good experience. 6 years later I had to go into rehab for Benzo addiction. I checked myself in and was told that this was a great facility. Well, they are not only understaffed but the staff that is there are more concerned about what you are wearing then your recovery. The last place I was at it didnt matter if you wore a hat, sweats...etc...because you were there to get better, the focus, as it should have been, was on your RECOVERY. That is NOT the case here. I actually had one of the workers there, who was one of the higher ranking employees, after asking him what WAS MORE IMPORTANT, ME WEARING A HAT OR MY RECOVERY...TO THIS HE ACTUALLY paused to think about it...NO THINKING, THE clear ANSWER IS my recovery...NOW, TO BE FAIR MOST PEOPLE THERE WERE GOOD AND HAD A WILLINGNESS TO REALLY HELP, but allot of them were more focused on things that had absolutely NOTHING to do with my recovery. The first one I went to DID care about it, and could care less if I wore sweats or a hat all day long, just as long as I got better, which is the mindset that all recovery centers should have. And, just for the record, the 12 step program was set up by Christians...yes, the people there had no clue of that...unbelievable!!! No, the program no longer hinges on Christian beliefs but rather the belief in a GOD or higher power, but that was not what I asked and was told flat out, that the program had NOTHING to do with faith...again, UNBELIEVABLE...if you are looking for a good recovery program, look elsewhere, unless that type of stuff, such as hypocrisy, doesnt bother you, then go sign up now!!

This facility sent some other unknown patients personal information to the wrong address with sensitive information that is now in the wrong hands. Private medical information, addresses, meds, & other numbers & pieces of information... Employees argue about personal topics at inappropriately loud volumes in the hallways where patients can hear making patients feel uncomfortable having to then trust these arguing, angry, unprofessional employees with their treatment, how uneasy does that make YOU feel? Not professional. Not a recommended facility, how very unfortunate. Very disappointing, patients come for help & there are not millions of other options of facilities for patients to choose instead as their first choice. 0 stars, not one... that star is only there because you have to put one star for the post button to work, just to clarify to those who dont understand & might argue in the hallways some more about it.

My experience was terrible. I took a friend there to drop her off and they said she was an hour late so they would not take her until the next day, and we had driven 2 hours to get there. They could not have cared less.In fact they appeared to take pleasure in turning us away. No one told us you had to be there at a specific time. So she went back the following day, and after 12 hours they refused to give her medication for detoxing, she was very angry, so they kicked her out. They just dont care, they know theyre getting funds from the state, there will be another person along in a minute. I would not recommend this place.

I love everyone at Sacred Heart. The RCTs are mostly all in recovery and from the time you walk in you feel a sense of understanding and compassion. The therapists are mostly all in recovery as well and you dont feel judged. Everyone just "gets it". And they focus on getting you where you need to be to move forward into recovery and know that you are not alone. Also I love the chapel; its been said that its the Holiest place in Michigan and miracles happen there. I believe that whole heartedly❤️

I was at my lowest point I could have been without death, and was set free from myself due to Sacred Heart! They showed me myself and helped my understand my addiction. Everyone their was a major part in my Sobriety. I always asked questions and was always given expert advise. From the Techs all the way up to the Counselors they were a big helping hand. I dont ever plan on going back as a patient, but will definitely go back to help carry the message! Thank you Sacred Heart!!!

I love this place. If you REALLY wanna get clean they give you all the tools you need. All while providing a pretty comfortable detox. After being clean almost 3yrs the last time I left sacred heart. I had a relapse. Ran back to sacred heart and they saved my life now for a second time! Looking forward to another 3 or hopefully 33 years of sobriety!

Only one interview with counselor. That was almost 11 years ago. No relapses on my part. As someone Once told me, you have to have the desire. Not that impressed with their Hollister and American clothing line. Kind of gives the wrong impression. After all, they accept Medicaid, people on Medicaid cant afford that style

The staff and all their help are very nice and helpful. I would reckomend Sacred Heart to anyone whos having a problem with any addiction. One of the great things is how they include the family which is very important for a addict/alcoholic to know someone is on their side. Thumbs up Sacred Heart!

Meetings held here are very helpful. I felt nervous,uneasy...it really is a great comfortable environment, for anybody who needs rehabilitation. Meetings are way better than outpatient,it works if you are really wanting help.
