My husband and I are relatively new to the area and I still needed to find a primary care doc for routine care. My husband had gone to the Palms of Pasadena Hospitals ER on a couple of occasions and had received really good care. Thats how I learned about Palms Primary Care (plus online reviews) and made an appointment soon after. Ive seen Dr. Minnix twice and both times have been very pleased with his demeanor, professionalism and sense of humor... Right away I felt very comfortable with him and his staff. I had no trouble getting an appointment , did not have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen, and did not feel rushed at all. Dr. Minnix, in my limited experience with him, seems to be the kind of doctor who keeps it real... doesnt talk down to clients... looks you in the eyes... and is steady, calm and caring.

I would like to share my message with all healthcare consumers. I have been an executive in healthcare administration for 37+ years and recently moved to St. Petersburg, Florida just over 3 years ago. I was referred to Dr. Tim Carlson and have found not only a physician who is thorough and skilled in primary care / internal medicine but I have also found that I have a primary care physician that truly cares about my well being and health. Dr. Carlson is responsive to requests (regardless of type) and takes the time to always follow through even if it means that he is calling you back during evening and weekend hours. I wish that more physicians could be as devoted to the welfare of their patients as is Dr. Tim Carlson.

Dr. Carlson is hands down the BEST doctor. He gets you back in the room without any wait times. He takes the time to talk to you as a person and a patient. He is personable, knowledgeable, patient and kind. If you are looking for a new doctor look no more, Dr. Carlson is the one! His staff is also very professional and helpful. Anytime I need anything or have a question, they have the answer and always call back when they say they are going to. His office is a very calming and soothing environment. All of his exam rooms over look the water. He makes going to the doctor a pleasurable experience!

The office and patient rooms are very clean. I never have to wait long during my visit. The office staff is very professional and helpful. Dr. Carlson is compassionate and caring. The patient portal they use make it very easy to keep up with my medical history. Parking is easy and the location and view is fantastic. I definitely recommend this practice to everyone!!
